I love this product. It’s even better than the overnight one because I get to wash it off within a few hours. The full colour shows up within 8 hours but it’s great for when you need a same day tan. The colour looks very natural and not orange in any way. The mitt is a must. Don’t bother applying it without it. You get a very even application with it.I wouldn’t use any other self tanner frankly.

So this self tanner is amazing. Hands down the best store bought self tanner I have ever used, it goes on so smooth and even if applied with the glove that you can purchase with it. It smells very nice and the colour comes out bronzed and not orange in any way. Natural looking too. Almost as good as a professional spray tan but you really have to be good at applying it. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube so give them a try before applying. You will get the best results that way. I had to ask my boyfriend to apply the product on my upper back.

I used this product for a week and nothing happened. I am still porcelain white. It was completely useless and didn’t work. I tried their mousse, the regular self tanner and the express one. They are amazing. Which is why I decided to try this product, and it was s complete let down and waste of money, Avoid

I'm someone with fair skin that takes some effort to tan. I felt like the amount of work it took for me to get a natural tan was causing so much damage in the process so I decided to start faking it.

I went ahead and bought the big bottle, since it was double the product for only $12 more. At $54 CAN, the mousse is a little pricey but I figure a single salon spray tan costs $25-50 and with this product, you can get multiple applications for around the price of one spray tan.

The packaging looks clean and sleek. The pump is nice because you can choose how much or little product to dispense.

Application was easy, even for someone like me who didn't have a lot of experience. The color guard in this product allows you to see exactly where you have applied and notice any steaks that might need more blending. Even if you're in a hurry, or haven't exfoliated as much as you should have, I have found this tan to be very forgiving. It dries quickly and doesn't look unnatural so you can wear it out for the day while it develops. There's only been a few occasions where I've noticed streaks and those were my own doing and not a result of the product itself. Even then, they were very minor. It hasn't caused any issues with my sensitive skin either, which is a bonus.

I've found the product can be stretched to about a week before needing to be reapplied and it fades very evenly and naturally. I also haven't noticed any gross self-tanner smell with this product, like I have with Jergens and Hawaiian Tropic. I actually find the smell to be pleasant and I kid you not, someone once complimented the smell of this product when I wore it out.

This product looks like a natural, golden tan. Since using this, I've had colleagues, relatives and friends compliment my tan. They were shocked when they found out it came from a bottle.

I really don't have a complaint about this product. It gives you a warm, golden tan that looks 100% natural. It lasts a decent amount of time and it's hard to mess up. I have bought this product twice now and when my current bottle runs out, I'm sure I'll buy another (a bottle lasts me about 2 months with 1-2 applications a week). In my opinion, this product is worth the hype and the money.

I'm liking this for quite a few reasons. It's easy to apply - much easier than the lotion and dries pretty quickly (less than 2 minutes on my skin). Not pricey, maybe a bit more than other tanning lotions and products but it's definitely worth paying that small amount extra as when comparing it to other brands; this product has the least streaking and most natural looking color, not orange, just a nice golden hue. Bonus: there is no funny smell left on your skin once you have washed it off.

I find one full bottle lasts me for approximately 6 full body applications which makes it more than worth it for me. It is very much on the 'chemical' side which is the only reason I haven't given it a full 5 lippies, but if you're not overly concerned about that kind of thing then definitely give this a try.

Self Tanners -St.Tropez -Self Tan Luxe Facial Oil

on 8/18/2018 1:00:00 PM

I am fair skinned naturally. On top of that, I have sensitive skin that occasionally can become dehydrated, flaky, and dull. I've used many facial tanners on the market and until happening upon St Tropez luxe dry facial oil, I was using Jergens gradual tan facial lotion in Fair To Medium.

This stuff takes the cake for me! I mix a few drops in with my Cera Ve (in the tub) and apply it to freshly cleaned and toned skin. Within a few hours, I am glowing! If I want to make it last. I'll apply it 3x's a week in the same fashion (mixing with lotion). I get many compliments on my complexion.

First, I’m asian and I’m pale. I have used self tanners from Clarins Avene Sephora and this brand. And I can say the best are Sephora Mist and this product. In my opinion, among these 2, I vote Sephora as the best because it gives me a darker tan than St Tropez and it also lasts longer (for abt 1 week), which is what I look for in a self tanner. This St Tropez product has great smell, leaves absolutely no streaks, and that’s it. After u take the first shower, most of the tan will b washed off and u lr left w a very light tan. In fact, I tried to apply on 2 days on a row but the tan looks still the same, very very light. A nice product but doesn’t meet what I expect compared to the price I pay.

Best self tanner I ever tried. I used to use drugstore tanners that all left me orange. This one looks so natural, it blows me away. I have olive undertones and this does not make me orange. It doesn't have a bad smell and it is also non sticky! I can wear clothes after I apply which I never could with cheaper tanners. I actually sleep overnight with this on and find it really gives the best color when I do that. I also bought a cheap tanning mitt from Ulta that works well with this. I love everything about it and the only downside I can find is the expensive price. But it is worth it to me because of the confidence it makes me feel.

This self-tanner is so natural looking, you'll never look orange. It's easy to apply (with a mitt!), dries quickly, and doesn't bleed onto clothes or sheets. It looks green and dirty when you apply it to your skin, but it absorbs overnight into a nice, dark glow. The only issue I have is the application to hands and feet. It should be done last with residual mousse left on the mitt and rinsed off. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. I've repurchased it twice. It's much better than the Original (too light) and Express (not always natural looking).

I used this for a week. Everyone in Ulta recommended this over other products. St. Tropez is supposedly a big name in self tanners. Well, nothing to write home about. My skin color didn’t not change with daily use. The product is greasy on application and can transfer. It feels greasy too. I doubt anyone can apply their makeup over this oily surface. I got a pimple after 8 years of not having any breakouts. So overall, my $8 L’Oreal Sublime does a better job. Even Clinique has a better product than this. No, thank you!

I hate waiting for 8 hours to wash the self tan off with this you only have to wait for 3 hours max but depending on the color you want you could already wash it off after one hour. I use two layers because otherwise I don't find it dark enough on my skintone (nc30) I blow dry my skin in between layers and wait for 3 hours before showering it off. The tan will last about a week with this method and it fades evenly. The cons: it's sticky and it can stain my feet, but I mix the mousse with a little bodylotion to do my feet to prevent it as much as possible. I already repurchased, this is not my "HG" but I will continue to use this untill I find something better!

Ah, St. Tropez. I avoided you for years, thinking I didn't need to splash out the cash. Well, this mousse is not one of life's necessities, but it is a gem of a self tanner. Dang it :P

Applies evenly (with regular tanning mitt on body, tiny mitt on face, foundation brush on hands/feet), doesn't smell much upon application. The color...it is really nice, very natural looking. I am fair, usually one of the lightest foundation shades. This gives lovely, realistic, brown-ish tan. Overnight. Even on my face. Love.

Cons: price (of course) and smell. The smell is not noticeable during application, but as the tan/dha sets into the skin, it has the usual self tanner smell. It's not overwhelmingly strong, but you can't miss it, either. The color guard gets all over my sheets but comes out in the wash.

Again, in summation: will repurchase, use a mitt, use an old sheet folded in half to sleep in (I call it my self tan taco sheet), apply at night so you can sleep through the eventual smell. Be prepared to see the color guard go down the drain, but don't despair because you remain bronzed and goddess-like :)

Self Tanners -St.Tropez -St Tropez Gradual Tan One Minute Everyday Pre-Shower Tanning Mousse

Not usually moved to write reviews but I loved this stuff. Was a very light gradual effect that never looked fake, even when smeared over tops of feet and knees. You can build up the colour by using it often. I have very fair skin.

This is awful. I’ve applied twice and see NO difference whatsoever. Second time, I left it on longer, still nothing. It’s also disgustingly sticky while you have it on. I could cope with that if it worked, but it doesn’t. Stick to Cocoa Brown

Plus side- no smell! Probably because its not doing anything!

Reasonably thick cream - not a lotion at all. Application needs a bit of time so it goes on evenly. Great color for my skin and very moisturizing too.
It smells plesant and a few hours in develops a stronger odour. I apply it on a Sat morning and leave it on during the day but I wash it off for the night.
The tan is even and healthy looking. Very flattering.
