Paula’s Choice says this about the Essential Glow Moisturizer SPF 30: “This daytime hydrator protects from UV and blue light, plus helps neutralize airborne pollutants before they cause damage. Works all day to visibly repair and brighten skin so it looks younger and more vibrant.” I don’t think my skin is visibly repaired, nor does this product make my skin look brighter, more vibrant or younger. I’m still getting age spots from the sun. But on top of this making my face look greasy instead of glowy, emphasizing the orange peel texture of my skin, but it also makes my skin itch like crazy when I start heating up in the sun. I don’t think it’s the PC Antioxidant Pore Purifier from the same line since I wear that under almost everything. I’ve used almost the entire 15 mL travel size of this SPF and I haven’t once been impressed with it. At least I didn’t break out because of it.

The highlight of this sunscreen out of all the other sunscreens I've tried is how soothing it feels. It contains a mix of good plant extracts like tea, licorice, chamomile and algae that provide an antioxidant, hydrating and soothing boost to skin. It is both watery and creamy when it comes out of the tube but once you rub it in, it doesn't feel greasy. You don't feel like you are wearing anything on your face but if you touch your face, you feel a slight creamy layer. The downside is it leaves a slight white cast that doesn't fade. Some white streaks appear so you need to be careful and blend them. I don't wear this as my sole moisturizer but if your face isn't dry and you live in a humid climate, you can wear this as a moisturizer because it isn't drying. I haven't tried other mineral sunscreens but I've heard good things fron eltamd, blue lizard, sunsense, australia gold and coola so I won't be repurchasing for now.

This is one of my favourite facial exfoliants, like most of Paula's Choice skin care products, which I highly recommend, this is a potent formula brimming with state of the art ingredients and ofcourse the stated 8% Glycolic acid in a lotion texture. Paula's Choice make a whole range of exfoliants in different percentages and in different textures, this is to ensure that all skin types can reap the benefits of exfoliation suited to their skin type and needs. The pump dispenser is easy to use, one pump is usually enough for face and neck, this can either be used twice a day, or as needed. The lotion texture is perfect for this with Normal to Dry Skin, combination to Oily skins perhaps might want to try the 8% Gel instead. I have seen visible results with this product and with ongoing use you should have beautiful skin for a lifetime exfoliation is key! Particularly when it is leave on chemical exfoliation and not harsh mechanical scrubbing of the skin. I recommend this product to everyone! Thank you PC!

I originally attempted to add a serum to evening routine via a PC sample of Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum. I absolutely loved the texture but I learned after using it that my skin doesn't tolerate retinol. After doing a little more research, I decided to try Resist Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum, and I love it! It provides an extra boost of hydration to my combination skin during the winter months when my skin tends to be drier, without making it greasy or breaking it out. I use this before bedtime after cleansing and applying PC 2% BHA and followed by her Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator, and I wake up with plump, hydrated skin. I highly recommend it to those who wish to add a serum to their routine but are unable to tolerate retinol. A side note about the packaging: when I first started using this, it was packaged in a soft plastic bottle and was very prone to leaking, which was annoying and wasteful. When I got my most recent delivery, I was delighted to see that Paula had changed the bottle to an upright pump in a hard opaque plastic bottle - much more sturdy and zero leakage :)

Bought the small tube to try it out and I absolutely love it. I'm not in the least bit interested in sun protection but I have figured out that zinc oxide and titanium oxide work really well to prevent sebaceous filaments dots around the nose. They are in foundations and tinted moisturisers etc but I was looking for an SPF for no makeup days. This has a truly gorgeous finish, slightly - ever so slightly shimmery and with some sort of tint to take the edge off the white/bluish cast that can occur with mineral SPFs. It feels a little dry on the skin but doesn't dry the skin out, amazingly it prevents the shine that most bases give me. I use it over my usual moisturiser as my skin can be quite dry but those with oily skin could even get away with wearing it alone. It has worked wonders for redness from past cystic spots on my chin. Unlike chemical sunscreens which have made my acne instantly worse, I find mineral spf very soothing. There is one big BUT: nano particles are safe for human use on the skin but there is some evidence that once the coating has washed off after use, the particles are a threat to marine life. The details of what ingredients are nano and not are even more confusing; labelled as non nano doesn't mean it is non nano as there is little regulation, apparently. This is clearly labelled as contining nano particles but this is a concern for the environment.

I generally am a fan of PC products however this sunscreen moisturiser is a fail for me. It comes out in a thick, white cream and has a mild cucumber scent. I really have to blend & work it into my skin otherwise it leaves white patches. I have very pale skin so I would imagine this would be extremely annoying for darker skin tones! The most bizarre thing about this moisturiser is that my dry/combo skin is left feeling tight and flaky, yet covered in a shiny, greasy film. It’s as if my skin doesn’t absorb the hydrating ingredients at all! It just ‘sits’ on top of my skin which feels rather unpleasant. I live in rainy/grey Northern Ireland so I cannot comment on how affective the actual SPF is right now lol. If I apply makeup on top, I end up with flaky skin around my nose and chin. I usually have to apply the Skin recovery super antioxidant serum if I plan on putting on foundation & blush etc... Overall, the Skin Recovery day moisturiser doesn’t work with my skin at all! I definitely recommend seeking out a few samples before purchasing full size. I have been trying out the Skin Balancing SPF moisturiser with good results so fingers crossed :)To PC: Why the heck do you not sell the Moisture Boost or Hydralight range in the UK or EU??!! I would LOVE to try both those ranges!!

Can't say enough good things about this product. My skin becomes congested and literally breaks out from nearly EVERYTHING. The acne and dullness became so bad it impacted my social life and confidence . No products worked and I tried so many and spent sooo much money. Then I discovered Paula's Choice aha gel and everything changed. Just after one night my skin tone calmed down and much of the redness evened out. After a week my acne began to dry up and my congested pores cleared up. Been using this product for over a month now and my skin glows which I still can't get over. This product is my all time holy grail. It doesn't irritate my skin at all, it leaves my skin moisturized from the HA and my skin looking plum and even toned. Absolute skin saver.

I absolutely love this mascara and can't seem to find it to purchase it again. It lasts forever without getting clumpy or dry in the tube. It does NOT clump on my eyelashes and does not smudge. It is the best mascara I have ever used in some 40 plus years.

I really wanted this product to work! It felt nice on the skin both alone or mixed with a simple moisturizer (CeraVe lotion) but broke me out every time I used it. Had no effect on pores. Returned

I've gone through 2 tubes of this and sometimes I liked it and sometimes it smelled like corn chips. Normal-ish skin, semi-arid climate, hard water, used during the fall and winter months and it was enough--but not quite for my hands which I wash constantly throughout the day. I'll keep it in the back of my mind for next year, but I'll definitely be trying out some other unscented options beforehand...

I live in southern CA, am prone to sunspots and have found that mixing a pea-sized amount of this with my moisturizer helps prevent them from forming (of course in conjunction with faithful sunscreen use everyday). For existing spots, it helped them from getting worse, but didn't really fade them noticeably--I think I'll still need a separate product to target those. However, I just ordered a 2nd tube since I'd rather use preventative measures than have to go through the redness and molting that goes with heavy-duty spot lightening products. The gel cream texture, lack of added fragrance and salicylic acid are added bonuses, too. Don't expect an instant gratification result from this--long-term use and prevention is much more its thing.

I can 100% understand why this BHA liquid exfoliant has very mixed reviews. It does take time and experimentation to find the perfect technique for your own skin. My skin is dry/combination and I would suffer from blackheads/congestion in my t-zone. Having never used BHA before I was a bit intimidated so I purchased the CALM 1% BHA lotion. I used that every other day for about 2 months. I decided to move on to the 2% BHA liquid as my congestion/blackheads were still noticeable. The exfoliator comes out as a liquid similar to a toner, with a more tacky texture. There is a mild chemical scent which was absent from the CALM one. I initially used this every other day, then once daily. Personally my skin doesn’t tolerate daily use of BHA, it was giving me really angry red bumps and flaky skin. Every other day seems to be the perfect balance for my skin. I didn’t notice much difference until about a month. My skin started to look smoother. I had some really stubborn blackheads on my nose and this helped ‘loosen’ them up for me to extract. I’ve been using the 2% BHA liquid for around 4 months now and I’m really happy with the results. This has improved my skin texture, it looks healthier/glowing and has definitely shrunk my pores. I no longer have angry breakouts on my chin or dry patches around my nose.Overall, I will re-purchase. I see BHA as a staple in my skincare regime. It’s about trial and error, learning what your skin can tolerate and also having patience. I will never use a harsh and abrasive physical face scrub/exfoliator again! I hope this review is helpful :)

I've bought quite a few tubes of this throughout the years - was never fully satisfied but wasn't dissatisfied either.I have combination skin and strangely this seems to make the oily parts oilier and the normal ones drier, not sure how or why.I sticked to it due to the consistency and overall airbrushed look that I got from it. Am not sure I'm going to repurchase, tho. I've gotten into my Korean/Japanese skincare phase and they seem to have a wider range/more alternatives.

I am really liking this product. I have to give it a 2thumbs up! I do use it over my current moisturizer at night, so as to buffer the retinol, so I cannot attest to the drying properties of this. I have only experience very nice glowing skin. I am currently only using this at night because I use her Defense Essential Glow SPF 30 moisturizer during the day. I like the pump container. I use about 2 pumps to cover my face. I have not had any acne or flare ups of my rosacea or eczema. It also does not give me any trouble under my eyes but I do not use on my eyelids. Hope this review helps others :)

What an bad product; one week after using it , i looked five years older. Made my dark circles looking even darker, not hydrating enough and the smell is really horrible. Thanks the universe for the PC's money back guarantee.
