I got this as a gift with purchase and i must say its not dissapointing. Though i think it is LE now since it was discontinued. So hurry and grab it if you like it. For me i am not 100 percent satisfied because it looks very very similar to my bronzer on my hand swatches. I use matte bronze from mac and its just slightly less pink than Kid Kid is a mix between Soft Brown and Wedge. I prefer Soft Brown out of the 3 and i feel its because Kid is too pink, wedge is too cool and Soft Brown is the perfect bit fo warmth. If you are nw15 to nw25 you would love Kid. I am C1 nc20 so i much prefer peachier yellow transitions. Id love to get my hands on Bamboo if Mac ever releases it again! Other than color the texture is powderless. Its pigmented and its smooth. Veluxe is a good formula because it is easy to blend and lays well on the skin. I do like this just not love it. Some of my favorites are Soba, Cork, Brule, Phloof and EmbarkI wouldnt repurchase and probably get Soft Brown after i am done with Kid. Its pretty and works well i am just a bit picky but i still will def use the hell outta Kid til i see pan, and i def will see pan with this.

I have paint pots in painterly and soft ochre and use them all the time as an eyeshadow base, they were game changers and I now rely on them. They help provide a smooth eyeshadow base that makes all of my eyeshadows apply with ease and signifigantly reduce creasing. Decided to try this shade thinking a beige pearl shade would be nice to wear under shimmery eyeshadows and maybe on its own. This is not at all what I expected. It has big pieces of glitter in it and instead of smoothing my lids it makes them look super wrinkly and horrible. I don’t know, maybe I got a pot that is dried out because instead of being smooth and creamy it it chunky and difficult to spread.

I really liked the color, but... this is so dry! I can barely get any of this onto a brush - it is way too densely packed, to the point that I can't use it - I feel bad for my brushes having to be rubbed so hard into this. If you want a dupe of this, I would suggest Chic Happens from Colourpop - great texture and price. Only issue is that it's sometimes out of stock, and Colourpop change out their shades from time to time, so you never know for how long something sticks around.I tried scraping this. I tried taking the upper layer of product off with tape, and I still cannot get any color payout. I bought this about 2 years ago, in a MAC Pro store in Vancouver, but it's so bad that it's going into the trash, barely used

I got this eyeshadow as a gift with purchase but i wouldnt repurchase. I acually use Espresso more for the tail of my eyebrows. I have dark brown almost black hair but my hair has a bit of warmth in the sun. I dont know if i love this as an eyeshadow because it is a drier type of formula. Its not the easiest to blend but for the brows its better. I do darken my outer v if im using Soba and Cork since the undertones of these 3 eyeshadows are all golden. Espresso is pigmented, just hard to blend. Espresso is still good just not a must have since it does pull too cool for my likings, i l rather use Embark for this. I am C1 nc20. Anything too cool will make me look ashy and dirty. This is just "okay" in my book but for brows its great. I def want to try Brun for my brows after i am done with this!

I was lucky enough to purchase recently a absolutely gorgeous eyeshadow from Mac called "sea and sky". It is one if the most amazing purchases I've ever made.. makeup wise.. and I've made a few! The colour is extraordinary. One shimmery pale blue, one royal blue. Together they look divine. I cannot recommend this product enough. It makes my blue eyes pop! Aaannnddd it has great staying power! Thanks Mac!!! :-D

This bronzer was recommended to me by a MAC employee. Since I love shimmery blush, I thought a little shimmer in my bronzer would be great. I was wrong. This bronzer has such a nice base colour that is ruined by the rather chunky glitter in it. I can see the golden flecks on my skin everytime I use it. Plus, they seem to migrate across my entire face over the course of the day which leaves me looking like a human christmas ornament.Additionally it seems to be getting hardpan almost immediately. As in, I use the same brush two days in a row without washing it and this bronzer starts to close up.I really wanted to love this for the price I paid, but sadly it did not live up to my expectations.

I've never been able to use liquid eyeliner successfully until I tried MAC Brushstroke in Brushbrown. I purchased it on a whim while buying the MAC waterweight foundation. My expectations were low because I've literally never been able to apply liquid liner without making a giant mess and/or it irritating my eyes. I've tried the KVD, Clinique, Stila, and others that I can't remember off the top of my head. This one isn't super pigmented, which I think it actually makes it easier for me to use. Even though it isn't super pigmented, it's also not SUPER light. It applies evenly, is slightly buildable, and doesn't show mistakes as easily as really rich/dark formulas. I find it really easy to use, which is a miracle for me! It stays all day and just creates a an easy breezy cat eye look on my deep-set eyes. I haven't tried the black shade, but I think the brown is perfect because it's less harsh on my coloring. I kind of get why this doesn't get more love because I'd imagine for liquid liner experts, this stuff is probably not pigmented enough maybe? But if you have struggled with liquid/felt liners, TRY THIS!

Love it!Very very beautiful color, really is like the color of a peach. A bit pink in the warm orange color makes it go well with almost every lipstick color that I have (except for hot pink and dark red or blue based red). The texture is amazing either, very soft and velvety. I used to hate powder blush because it leaves my cheeks cakey and emphasize my pores but this one change my mind. It glides easily and evenly on the skin without making the foundation cakey tacky or anything's like that. But it's too sheer even for a sheer one. I'm all for the no makeup makeup look (or else I would have bought the Melba one instead) but I have to swirl my brush several rounds in the blush and keep applying 3 4 times to have some light color on my cheek. But overall this one is really amazing for a natural look and is worth the money

I wish I liked this more – I had really high hopes for this formulation (esp given how much I love the liquid foundation and concealer from this line). While the formulation feels nice on the skin and doesn’t give kick-up, it just didn’t look natural or sheer on my skin and no amount of setting spray helped it along. This is also a “double shade” compact – half is a nice more translucent or lightly pigmented side while the other is more peach/pink/golden brownish (depending on your shade chosen/purchased). I suppose its meant to use one side or the other, or to swirl all together. This was problematic for me as it just leaned too red on me. I even exchanged my med for a lighter shade and I got the same redness issue. Its too bad this didn’t work for me, especially given that it cost me $36,00 for the compact which is now just sitting in my drawer.

This concealer is EVERYtHING! If you have dry, aging, or textured skin and you want an eye brightener with coverage, RUN and get this stuff! This has a satin second skin effect, along with buildable coverage. While it does work to hide blemishes and redness, I find it really shines best as highlighting tool for under eyes (the triangle if you will). Prior to this discovery, I tried many concealers for under eye brightening/highlighting in shades lighter than my foundation – Nars, UD Naked, Colourpop, Tarte Shape Tape, you name it. All those left me dry looking. This one looks so natural and brightening and seems to impart hydration as well.

I had given up on MAC foundations a while ago – not bc they are bad, b tbc as I’ve gotten older I find they do not suite my dry and textured skin. Enter this foundation! I am a huge fan of this foundation. Its light as a feather and feels like second skin, yet it still does have some good coverage. This has more coverage than I expected it to – you could say more than a BB or CC but less than Nars Sheerglow. I LOVE the dewy-ness I get wearing this, and my skin just looks so much healthier than with other heavier foundations. The color stays true and doesn’t oxidize at all, and I get no streaking or fading. I also feel as if I am getting a boost of hydration, and the additional SPF is great.

Grain is quite a workhorse fleshy eyeshadow shade, up there with utility shades like Shroom, Blanc Type, Brule or Vanilla. It is a warm peachy fleshy shade that almost seems to disappear into my nw20deep winter skin. It is very similar to Naked Lunch in color, but sways a tinge more peach and does not have the frost finish. I always had trouble with Blanc Type it was too ashy on me. Shroom was ok, but at times could come off too khaki toned. Vanilla is great, but works better with clean eye, red lip or when I was doing cooler toned lips. Brule and Grain are my current favorite wash (lid, highlight) shades for my warmer toned looks. Recently, I have started looking into the warmer side of MAC's eyeshadow collection and Grain is an anchor in many of many of my looks. It is great to neutralize the pink/red in your eye socket. I use this the same way I used NYX's Lap Dance, but this is a touch more peachy than that shade. And when I say peachy, I mean fleshy peachy, not orangey peachy. Such an under the radar color, but I would be lost with out it.

Was disappointed in this. A few months ago, I’d stopped wearing Revlon’s Colorstay Overtime, which I’d loved for years and years, until they made my beloved Eternally Tan quite sheer. Trying to find another very long-wearing lipstick has been a challenge. Aside from color issues, most are matte and rather drying. Recently made a match with Maybelline’s Matte Ink, using two shades together. Lasts amazingly well, but needed just a bit of moisture and shine, and most balms and glosses don’t play nice with long-wear lipsticks, pretty much dissolving them. Well, Lipglass doesn’t do that. But applying from the tube doesn’t work well for a light, even coat, and I'm not thrilled about using my finger. Aside from that, however, it does feel tacky, doesn’t last as long as I’d expect (though maybe I lick it because it feels so heavy), and it really doesn’t seem moisturizing. Glad I can return it—NYX Lingerie Clear addresses all those issues for me at about a third of the price.
