I have been using this at nite on my 72-yr-old skin since it 1st came out & feel it definitely keeps my skin healthy and feel I would probably have really deep wrinkles if I left it out of my routine. I have been a La Mer fan for 21 years, using the creme. I don' t find the eye products to be that great;but this oil I use on freshly clean skin at nite & let it soak in 1/2 hr or more before adding my moisturizer, which is La Mer creme 3 nites & Lancome renergie lift multi-action the other 4 because I think it's agood idea to change it up a bit with the creams + I seem to get a lot of renergie freebees in my GWPswhich I take advantage of whenever possible.I discovered peptides about 30 yrs ago & I swear by them. Also, I read somewhere that if you havean excellent serum/oil you can use about any good moisturizer & achieve great results.

I have had acne prone skin for most of my teenage life and got rid of it with acutaine shortly after highschool, soon after i started a hair removal laser treatment on my face which aggravated my skin and all the acne came back. Makeup looked bad and made it worse. Este lauder's double wear foundation was full coverage and felt okay but did not help conceal the texture on my skin. this foundation on the other hand made my skin even better after removing it! La mer products were always something I wanted to try but never had the budget for as a student, I set aside some money just to try this out and I don't regret it! I have never felt better about my skin. I don'y use an primers with it but I hydrate my skin using the Bioderma Hydrabio Serum concentrate and a bioderma acne high protection mat SPF 30. This combination has been my favourite!

I don’t find this to be hydrating at all; it sits as a greasy layer on top of my skin. I think the fragrance irritates my skin because after I apply it, I get red bumps on my cheeks. It’s much too expensive for what it does

La Mer's Soft Cream is not for my skin type, which isn't dry. When tested on hands, the product spread easily and did not feel thick. On my face, it's another story: I felt suffocated by a filmy layer, and I got whiteheads the same day I used it. I expected a heavy product with La Mer, but I didn't expect to feel comfortable. Because of that film, and the fact that this isn't all that moisturizing, it's probably best who need a certain kind of occlusive or whose face is sucked dry by actives.

I bought this foundation because the shade was the best I ever had in any foundation I've tried yet. And I've tried tons. I'm 57 and I have the usual wrinkles, but I also have redness on my cheeks and around my nose. This foundation does pretty well in covering most of the redness, although not 100%. I don't mind though, as I don't really like full coverage foundation where my skin looks fake and 'flat'. I use a brush to put this on and I only use a little bit, as oddly you just don't need a lot. I guess that's a good thing given how ridiculously expensive this is. I have to use this foundation with a primer, otherwise it goes into my pores. I don't have big pores but I get weird about that stuff and usually check it in a magnified mirror. And I have to say, with primer, you can barely tell I have anything on. The finish isn't matt, but it isn't dewy either. Satin maybe? Anyway, it took me 1 year before I bought this. I kept getting samples of everything else, but they just didn't match my skin like this did. Closest was By Terry.

This product did nothing to my skin. It doesn’t worth the money in my opinion

La mer!!!this company infuriates me in so many levels From the mediocre ingredients they are using in their skincare to the their marketing ploy...This is the replacement for the old la mer the powder When la mer saw the hype for the old version they decided to "reformulate "That meant they reduce it from 25 grams to 8 miserable grams !!!But they jacked up the price from 65 usd to 90 usd!!Please people dont let those company scam us like thisThe old version wasn't anything mind blowing (the translucent one)Too much glitters And this version is not any better !!If you want luxury powder with some luminescence try the Hourglass loose powder or the la Prairie loose powder Both are cruelty free and are coming with better prices and amounts than Lamer(Hourglass 10.5 grams and la prairie a whooping 56 grams)

It's funny how an exercise in marketing can create so much hype and mystery around one jar of cream! I used a deluxe sample of this and can honestly say I'm pretty baffled by people forking out so much money for such a objectively average product. The reason I say objectively is that, no matter how much you love the lush texture and the feeling of luxury using it, at the end of the day the science behind skincare is something that is capable of being proved. The insane story behind the miracle broth just doesn't make any sense. And if it was truly a miracle, why would Estee Lauder brand continue making tonnes of other miraculous face creams? I totally understand wanting to buy this if you have money to throw around because who doesn't want a glorious, heavy jar sitting on their vanity? That's a big part of the joy of skincare so I totally get that. If you are after a good cream that performs in a similar way for a fraction of the price I would try Bioderma Sensibio AR.

For the results I experienced way too expensive! Just because its a luxurious brand doesnt mean the product is wonderfull. I have very dry chapped lips and this product just coats the lips for a short period. Average blistex quality! I have better results with Toyomilk dark lip balm. Save your money...

Now I'm in big trouble, I don't want to ever be without this product! I tried the La Mer Concentrate and it is incredible! I had cosmetic surgery one year ago and wanted to try this on my surgical scars. In only one month, it helped to improve the appearance of the scars. It has also helped improve the texture of my face and the appearance of age spots. I am using the concentrate in the morning and evening. For the first time in years, I feel like I can actually go without foundation. I have tried the cream in the past and was not very impressed. I didn't really see any results from the cream. I really wish I was one of those people who didn't like the concentrate.....I love it, so I'm now looking for a night job to pay for it!

If there ever was a "filler" product by la mer, the treatment lotion is it. I had to return this product because it added nothing to my skin regime. In fact, I tend to be more on the oily side and do not like products that will cause me to feel greasy/dirty by the end of the day -- this actually did. It added a layer underneath my products which is, theoretically, supposed to contribute to the absorption of your other la mer products, moisturizers, etc. I found that, the first day, I did not notice much difference, but by the third day of using this product, I noticed that I had a couple blemishes and when I was washing my face and went to pat it down with my toner, it was much dirtier than normal. Conclusion: If you want to drop the cash to feel like you're "completing" your luxurious la mer routine, go for it. But, I do not find this product to be nearly as beneficial as their other stand alone products.

This is one of my holy grail essences. It works well on my skin. Every thing of this product is perfect; the smell, the texture, and the result. I am acne-prone and there's a lot of hyperpigmentation on my facial skin. This helps a lot with brightening and strengthen my skin. It doesn't make any irritation at all. Now I have been using the second bottle. I absolutely recommend this product for whose skin is sensitive and dehydrated.

Well I finallly got to try this. I was so hoping it would be the miraculous and gorgeous product as described in reviews, but for me it was a big letdown. I respect other people's love for it, but from my point of view, as someone who has used many face powders, this is not that good. It has glitter - microglitter - lots of it. The glitter seems to go away after a few minutes but then there's nothing. I didn't get any amazing, glowing finish at all. Therefore I don't think it is worth the $125. Also, the powder puff was nothing special. It was exactly the same as the puffs in other loose powder. (At least as far as I could tell). I have been using Physician's Formula for a long time and will stick with it.

Hands down this is the richest sheet mask I've ever used! I was expecting the liquid to be more like a serum, but it's literally like a tub of thick moisturizer with 2 sheet masks thrown in as an afterthought. From the moment I opened the packaging for the upper and lower mask pieces I could see the sheet within the transparent plastic tray, covered in a milky essence. Curious, I swiped a little bit off as there was plenty of excess and rubbed into my hand. The texture although fluid enough was very rich, even oily, and not just on my hand, after I'd applied the mask for 10 minutes and removed, there were large patches of the liquid still sat on my skin that hadn't been absorbed (tells me this would suit dehydrated skin pretty well) and as per instructions I gently massaged this in to face and neck area. Unlike SK2 masks for example, I didn't find that there was tons of essence left over, it was just sufficient for the single use. I used this straight after a hot shower which is the only time my skin feels parched somewhat but despite that and even once massaged in there was still an oily layer all over my face. Luckily said heaviness did not equate to acne the next morning, although having said that I wouldn't like to risk using on consecutive nights and at this price point nor would I be inclined to! (got my single piece to test off e-bay). Did it help relieve the dry, tight feeling on my face after my hot shower? Yes, and then some! All that saturation also gave me a nice dewy (albeit oily) glow for the next couple of hours until I got into bed and awoke to my normal-looking self. But this is the thing...I could very easily achieve similar results without the oiliness and most definitely without the price tag ($250 for 6 pieces). I didn't find the actual sheet mask itself to be of good quality which was disappointing when you're spending this kind of money. In fact it dried right up before the 8 minutes application time was even up and the quality of it just felt cheap. The packaging itself however was luxurious and good quality and gets a thumbs up from me. Bottom line: If you have some money to burn and are veering more towards mature, dry and non-sensitive (it contains fragrance and Eucalyptus oil amongst other potential irritants) then you might just find this to be a godsend. If you need hydration it will hydrate make no mistake about that! For most other skin types (and pockets) there's lots of other alternatives out there that are just as good if not better. Far far far too fragrant for my liking! For this amount of money as someone said below it should be perfect. This is just a basic tinted moisturiser with SPF 30+ nothing more. It contains the usual roster of LA MER/ESTEE LAUDER cocktail ingredients along with the "Miracle Broth". It smells, feels and looks quite similar to Bobbi Brown's Extra Tinted Moisturising Balm. I purchased one for myself and my mother, was not entirely happy with it's performance, definitely not for those with combination to oily skin, this is very much a product for those with dry to normal skin who want an all in one sunscreen and tinted moisturiser for light even coverage.
