Mascara -L'Oreal -Voluminous Lash Paradise Waterproof

I'm probably on my fifth tube of this mascara, & as particular as I am about mascaras, this is downright shocking.

I have large eyes & average lashes. I say average bc I understand some people have next to no lashes, and that is not me. They are there. But with the size of my eyes, I feel like nature should've given me bigger lashes? Don't bigger eyes need more protection against dirt & dust or whatever? I'd say they are longer than they are thick, but they are still not super long & are very thin. My eyes look straight up weird without mascara. Like something's lacking. Any gals out there with large eyes & wimpy lashes understand this struggle.

I am so picky about mascara. Mascara, for me, must lengthen, thicken, darken, separate, hold a curl, & in a perfect world, allow me to apply multiple layers until I achieve the look I desire while still keeping its promises.

Price doesn't matter to me when it comes to mascara. I am looking for effectiveness. I have bought many (very) expensive mascaras that have left me disappointed. I will try cheap mascaras bc I do not believe more expensive = more effective. For so many products, this is not always the case.

Some of my most-used mascaras have been cheap. Covergirl's Lashblast The Super Sizer in both regular & waterproof formulas was a surprising success, & is one of only two mascaras I would be using if I hadn't discovered Lash Paradise. Regular Super Sizer is actually my favorite non-waterproof mascara, ever.

The other mascara I would be using if not for Lash Paradise is, you guessed it, Better Than Sex.

Better Than Sex. The mascara to which people have been comparing Lash Paradise.

Do they compare? If you like gorgeous, fat, long lashes, yes. I like BTS in the waterproof formula bc it holds a curl & stretches my lashes better than the non-waterproof. But guess what. Lash Paradise does it even better, for me.

I prefer Lash Paradise in the waterproof formula, as well. Waterproof mascaras just hold the curl better. They last longer. BTS & LP waterproof both remove easily with coconut oil or Garnier Micellar Water (the blue one). Covergirl's Super Sizer in waterproof gives beautiful results, but is a right pain in the arse to remove. Lost lashes... the horror!

Speaking of lost lashes, I have a bad habit of picking at my lashes. Always have. So occasionally, I pull one or two or three out. Oops. You know what's also great about both BTS & LP? They make it look like I haven't lost a single lash, even when I actually have a gap (!!!) of missing lashes. Thick, full, long, multiplied. Magical mascaras.

I still buy waterproof BTS, but I don't use it as often. BTS can be finicky sometimes, & dries out faster than LP.
I do use fewer coats with BTS, but I like the way my lashes look so much more with LP.

Please. Get yourself some Lash Paradise. Specifically the waterproof formula. It's easy to remove with the products I listed above. Give yourself the gift of amazing lashes.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal -Infallible 8HR Pro Gloss - Rebel Red

foto

I'd call this a neutral red, doesn't pull orange or blue or fiscally.
There's nothing infallible about this. It does transfer and it does wear off and fade, but it leaves behind a slight stain. The gloss is more of a subtle sheen than in your face shine.
If you're looking for more of a soft red gloss, start here. The color is build able. I find this to be neither drying nor moisturizing. I would repurchase mostly because it's such a perfect red.

Nice mascara at first, but got thick and goopy after about a month. It a tarted flaking. I also prefer a tapered brush tip, not a butterfly shape. Will not repurchase and I think it’s way overhyped.

Not for me. I thought I really liked it when I first used it. But 1. Something in it doesn't get along with me because 1. I often had red bloodshot eyes or blurry vision after wearing this all day and 2. It dried up way too quickly. Obviously I won't repurchase. But the tube is cute and it does give a thick black coat to the lashes.

Liquid -L'Oreal -True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

I think I've tried every foundation on the market from high end to drugstore. Most are too heavy (even when applied with a light hand), too cakey, doesn't cover well, no staying power, not the right shade, etc. I suppose I demand a lot from foundation! Well, I finally found it in L'Oreal True Match. They have many shades, so it's not difficult to find a good match.
The coverage is light, has staying power, covers completely, and is buildable if need be. This seems to be an exact dupe for Lancôme's Teint Miracle (Lancôme owns L'Oreal), but without the $47.00 price.
The only negative (and I won't deduct a star) is the packaging. I would much prefer the consistency of a pump bottle instead of pouring it into my hand.

I was in cvs looking for lengthening mascara whining a bit and my husband pointed out this one. Ladies a husband who will stand with me in a make up aisle! Anyway back to review I have thinning short lashes that should probably curl but I never got the hang of using eyelash curlers. This is close to hg for me. Yes it’s a clump mess to start. I wipe ( waste ) a lot wiping wand on tissues, then a couple of swipes through lashes and I look like I have big eyes. Fake falsies no, natural nice results. Didn’t flake throughout the day and easy to wash off with l’occtaine oil. Wand works for me, finds lashes that I didn’t know I had! Yes will buy again. ( and yes hubby really found it my current purse as well!)

Lipstick -L'Oreal -Colour Riche Lipstick

I like these. I have two (Fairest Nude and Volcanic) but I like the color and formula a lot. Both are great colors, creamy and not gaudy. I don't love the smell nor does it bother me extensively. Overall a good love that I would buy from again.

Packaging is okay. Price is good. I have noticed some differences in the formula depending on the shades, like I have a purple one and a copper one and the purple one is not very pigmented. The copper one is awesome and I know my mom and grandma like them will try more.

I am a huge fan of loreal mascaras. This is amazing it separates, lengthens and adds volume. I get the blackest black. The wand is a little different, but its nothing I couldn't get used to. I think its holy grail yall.

BB Cream -L'Oreal -Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream Anti-Redness

Well the packaging is okay lol..
Firstly, I am pale, redheaded. So usually the lightest or second lightest shade. Well I initially bought it to use as a primer.. But it turned out so orange and even when i put my WNW photofoucs over top it still showed through. I usually like loreal stuff but this was a hot mess, and i didn't even really think it had a color to it boi was I wrong..

Foundations -L'Oreal -Infallible Total Coverage

The packaging isn't the greatest for this type of foundation. The foundation its self is very good. I have basically normal skin with breakouts on my chin (hormonal) I do have to say its pretty thick and on the package it says "weightless feel" which i'm not saying its super cakey but you can tell you have makeup on. It blends into my skin very well. I like a brush with this type of foundation. like a dense buffing brush.

Misc Beauty Tools -L'Oreal -Infallible Blending Sponge

on 12/9/2017 9:43:00 PM

Omg I have had this thing for over 3 years, and I use it every day so I figured I should write a review....I wash it every week with soap and water and it is still going strong. Blends foundation beautifully. Moistened, it can also be dabbed into loose powder or pressed powder. Once this one is no longer functioning, I'll buy another but it's been so long I forgot what brand it was until I saw this MUA review pop up--this thing lasts forever! Highly recommend!

I put this under running water and squeeze about 12 times until it plumps up and then use for foundation, powder, etc.

Also, when washing it, use soap. Not Dove or body wash soap--real soap like Bronner's or Ivory. That kind of soap removes makeup really well. Just rub the sponge on the bar of soap and then squeeze under warm water and watch all the makeup come out.

I just don’t understand the positive reviews. It’s like people are describing a different product altogether. For me, this is very wet and goes on the lashes in giant globs that stick all your lashes into clumps. Then it dries into hard spikes. I may as well have lit my money on fire. I would love to try the wonderful mascara other people are apparently trying in the same package.

Lips -L'Oreal -Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick

This is my favourite liquid lipstick formula! I have the shades 360 Angora, 364 Milk and Cookies, 362 Plum Bum, 352 Shake Down, and 358 Cowboy. They all perform the same and I highly recommend you check them out.

APPLICATION: The product goes on smooth, even, and opaque in one coat. It is creamy and has a bit of thickness to it, unlike some other liquid lipsticks. It dries within 1-2 minutes, but retains a slight bit of tackiness for the first hour or so.

WEAR: This feels great on the lips. It's not drying, and it seems to provide a slight bit of moisture to the lips. It feels comfortable all throughout the day. There is some wear on the very inner parts of the lips if you eat, but otherwise it does not fade or crack or otherwise come off the lips until you intentionally remove it. It's the best wearing liquid lipstick I've tried.
