My review is for L'Oreal Voluminous in "Burgundy". The previous reviewer is reviewing something called "Marsala", and from her description, it is obviously not the same product as Voluminous Burgundy. This Burgundy mascara is very dark, and, on dark eyelashes, I doubt if it will even show up as burgundy. (Maybe if you shine a light directly on it?) It does show up as Burgundy on my lashes, but only at angles, and in bright light. So far, no one has noticed (or at least not commented) on this mascara. I was hoping this would be similar to Clinique's Black Honey, which, for some reason, comes and goes over the years. Colorwise, though, Burgundy doesn't have the same pay-off as Black Honey. When I wear the Black Honey mascara, my green eyes really pop, but the Burgundy doesn't have as dramatic an effect. Part of the problem may be that I have short, straight lashes. Voluminous mascara thickens my lashes, so it gives me short, straight, fat lashes. Without any lengthening and curling, mascara does nothing for me, so the Voluminous formula isn't for me in any color. On the plus side, this mascara doesn't flake or clump, and it doesn't really smudge. It seems to disappear from my bottom lashes after several hours. It removes easily with my usual eye cleaners. I can't really complain about a product that cost me under $6.00...my review is based on what I want for my mascaras. There is an add for this mascara in Allure magazine (which worked like magic and inspired me to buy this at once) that depicts a brown-eyed, dark-haired woman wearing this it. It looks AMAZING. I figured if it contrasted that beautifully with brown eyes it would enhance green eyes as well. The ad informs us that extra lashes are added on the model's eyes, but, naively, I didn't think about just how many extra lashes may have been added. After using this mascara, I'm guessing the model is wearing full fake eyelashes, soaked in layers of it. (Not to mention the professional lighting concentrated to bring out the hues.) If you have long, light eyelashes this may be great for you, but if you want lash "help" in addition to the burgundy color, this won't thrill you.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this haircolor. I got the red velvet and it is nothing like the box of my hair turned black. I am so upset. My original color was a sandy brown and my hair is now black I would not recommend this product.

Pros: Pigmented formulaCons: I am not particularly enthused about the formulation, though it's not bad. It has a strong scent that a lot of drugstore lipsticks have.Overall: 3* - not bad, but I wouldn't buy it again

I adore the blue version of this and this marsala one does not disappoint! It’s a gorgeous shade on my dark lashes and brown eyes. I often like to use a cranberry shade in my crease as a quick eyeshadow look and this mascara is the perfect compliment. That being said, I fear this would look hideous on the light-eyed, flaxen-haired angels out there because it’s nevertheless a loud color that could clash with certain tones. But for POC, this is a great find!

I bought this after Youtuber, Arshia Moorjani, proclaimed that Radical Rosewood was “perfection” for people close to her skintone. I’m NC40 and I figured it was a worth a shot, especially for a lipstick I could carry around in my purse for touch ups (I’m pretty clumsy and I’m hesitant to carry around my Charlotte Tillbury because I’d be so mad at myself if I lost it). After having used this for a few days, I’ve completely fallen in love with the shade and the texture. It’s creamy and long lasting and the color truly looks like a high end lipstick! One note though: this formula can be a tad bit drying so I make sure that my lips are in top shape prior to application.

I have always loved this formula, but it was discontinued years ago. Why, I do not know. I wish it was back on the market. I love the Really Rose color. I just ordered 3 of them on eBay. Really rose is a medium rose tone that looks natural, yet striking. I have fair, cool tone skin and I could wear this color everyday. I imagine that this color would be flattering on almost anyone. This formula is long lasting and not drying.

Holy lashes! Can't believe I've passed this so many times at Target/the drugstore until I saw a mascara tutorial using this. I was a bit worried when I first opened the package considering how flimsy the brush is and how tiny the bristles are, but I really think the almost comb like texture makes it so great at really separating lashes and giving them lots of length. I haven't had any issues smearing/flaking or smudging, except for realizing this doesn't quite wash off like the rest of your makeup and exiting the shower with major raccoon eyes....perhaps not an issue with the product but rather how much mascara I personally wear - ha! I'd repurchase!

What a fantastic product! I'm on my second tube. I love how it conditions and fluffs up my lashes, and it seems to give me a few extra hours out of my mascara before it smudges or flakes. I curl my lashes, apply one coat of this -- it comes out white. Then I leave it for 5 minutes to sink in (it will turn clear when it's ready) before I apply a coat of mascara. Right now that's CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume, in the orange tube. I get great definition, volume, length, and longevity with this combination, and the two products together cost half as much as one tube of DiorShow. SOLD.$4.99 at Target.

So i will say this... U might hate it one time and love it another. When i first tried this product... Wasnt a huge fan, my hair was often oily, wasnt the biggest fan of this. My hair has been dyed EVERY COLOUR you can imagine. but this product sat in my cupboard for about a year gove or take. This week, my hair needed some SOS help. I had going to the salon and was bleaching my hair in a poor attempt to be blonde (my natural hair colour is the darkest shade of brown its pretty much black) So i gave up, and went back to "black" so my hair needed some gentle tender care. I do love this product now. I dont shower everyday, i will use this first when i get in the shower and leave it tk rinse out at the end, i can comb through my hair without breakage and its smooth sailin, there is a strong camilina smell (it isnt something everyone loves... Its difficult to describe but i would liken it to baby powder with camomile tea) i can blow dry my hair after and not have a greasy look later on. However, i will not wash my hair for about another 1.5 to 2 days depending and have my hair up for those days after the initial wash. The quality of my hair is improved, the smell i enjoy, the packaging got a mediocre ratibg because the pump puts out so little- which i guess it does helps with not wasting too much... Perhaps if ur hair ACTUALLY needs this, you'll enjoy it, and if ur hair needs a different kind of rescue, this just wont cut it (be too greasy, or not enough). But i used this to make my damaged porous dry brittle hair managable and have a healthier bounce... And it worked.

I absolutely love this foundation, it gives complete coverage as stated, which is good for me because I suffer from hyperpigmentation due to some adult acne, and it matched my skin perfectly. The texture is smooth and lasts all day and night and doesn't feel too heavy, I know this because I am guilty of falling asleep with it on after a night partying with my family Lol.

This is surprisingly okay. It's not fabulous at all. But, it fulfills a niche for me. That niche is: I am lazy AF and when I am hauling my sleep deprived carcass to work, but wish to exert absolutely minimum effort at applying my makeup, it's perfect. This stuff is great for that. It's literally the one and only foundation I've ever tried on my incredibly oily skin, that does not need setting powder. It's one step and done. Yes, it clings to dry bits. Be moisturized. Yes, it is inclined to streak if you go to ham with it. Apply lighter end of medium coverage, minimal is better. It breaks down surprisingly little... like, a bit, but better than many, and basically better than anything else I've tried alone and without setting powder. (Powder, oddly, did not improve the situation much at all.)I'm lucky in that the W3 color is perfect for me which makes it a LOT easier to lazily smear on with minimal effort, and it doesn't break me out. These two sheer luck factors give it a giant plus for me personally. YMMV, but decent shade range. Also I can build it enough for my undereyes. (I'm 41 and concealer is sometimes counter-productive... this works fine for medium coverage under my eyes.)It's not a showstopper foundation by any means- I'm not gonna be admiring myself in mirrors during the day like the best ones I own. But. It is by far and away the fastest way to put some reasonably decent looking foundation on super fast. Like, two minutes max. I've planned it twice and am on #3... it does go quickly though. I definitely don't hate it. I'd never wear it out for anything special but for the fastest way to look minimally put together at work? HECK YES.

I like this. I picked it up on sale and was wanting a scrub that wouldn't irritate my skin and provide some moisture, and this does the trick. I find it a bit steep for $12 or so, but when it's on sale or I have a coupon, sure. The packaging is nice, with the glass jar, etc., so it does seem a bit more luxe than some goop in a plastic container. For those who don't like to dip a finger into a scrub or cream for the risk of contaminating the contents, this will be a con rather than a pro. I'm not wild about it either, but I try and wash my hands before dipping a finger inside and scooping out some of the scrub. The contents are nice, though. Inside the scrub looks a lot like if you'd mixed brown sugar and butter. It feels and smells a bit that way, too, and you can pick up the coconut and cocoa butter scents along with it. It's a gentle exfoliant, and it feels effective in spite of that. It rinses off easily with water and leaves the skin feeling moisturized. I'm not sure if it's soothing, but it doesn't aggravate my skin and makes it feel/look a tiny bit better. For a little pampering boost, this is a nice way to go. It also works nicely on the lips, too, as a gentle scrub. It's not a miracle in a jar, but it's not hyped as one either. It promises a bit of nourishing and softening and it gives that (albeit more temporary, like most masks offer).

Overall I like this for a drugstore mascara. The formula is a bit dry and it applies smoothly without clumping. It does a decent job thickening my lashes, and it's okay for lengthening. I really like the brush, too. It doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes at all and I have no flaking with it, either.I love the case; it looks classy.
