I was given this lipstick in No. 23, Geisha--a beautiful true red. I love it. It goes on with a smooth texture and doesn't dry out my lips. The lipstick itself wears off subtly (no flaking) and leaves a lovely even stain behind. Great quality and worth the (admittedly fairly high) price.

This is one of the most expensive foundations that I bought, so I very much wanted it to be the HG. It looks so glamorous: an elegant glass bottle with a fancy stopper. Oops, it’s quite unstable! It almost fell on the floor when I put it back on the shelf. The coverage is medium plus, I’d say. I didn’t notice any of the promised „glow” though, the finish is just flat. And the worst thing about it: the colour. I am very pale, so I went for the lightest 00N of course. At the beginning it matched me well, but it was somehow yellowish. I believe the 00W must be a regular yellow! After a few hours an orange mess begun. It oxidizes like crazy! Sorry, Guerlain. I liked your previous foundations better.

This product may have worked, but the scent is totally overpowering. I'm not sensitive to scents and don't mind the YSL or Lancome subtle ones that tend to fade. This one, though, is so overpowering, outdated and cloying, I just can't work with it. My throat was irritated the whole time I was wearing it. The strange thing is that the scent is marketed as a main selling feature. Who does that nowadays? Otherwise, it's a fairly light coverage foundation with a satin finish that lasts fairly well. It could be a decent foundation if you don't mind the strong scent! Definitely test before you buy in this case.

Yes, it is pricey, but is the most beautiful foundation that i ever tried! It is very similar to Dior Backstage Foundation, Benefit Hello Happy Foundation and Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet foundation. In my opinion Aqua Nude has more coverage, more staying power and doesn't set into fine lines like the others do. I have combination skin, and this foundation stays the entire day beautifully. It is very natural and you can't notice it on your face, even looking up close in the mirror. If you could find a good color mach, go for it! You will fall in love!

( review is for the 2012 version )One of my favorite perfumes ever! It is truly divine! I'm a huge fan of maison Guerlain, and love all of their older, classic creations, particularly my beloved Shalimar edp. I'm generally a "classic" lover, with some of my other favourites being Chanel no. 5 and L'heure Bleue. So it was quite the surprise for me to find out just how much I adore this modern little gem! La petite robe noire smells mouth-wateringly good. This is one of those rare perfumes that I can detect almost all the notes in... bright bergamot, tart cherries, smoked black tea, liquorice, almonds, fresh-spicy notes of indian mint and star anise, and lots of patchouli. Some complain that it is too sweet, and I can totally understand where they're coming from as when I tested this for the very first time, I thought the exact same thing. However, the more I tested it, the less sweet it became to my nose as I got more and more used to it. Now I smell the tart sour cherries much more than the sweetness, and it is pure bliss! My only disappointment in this product is the sillage. I can get LPRN to last and last on my clothes, but it seems no matter how much I spray, I can never get others to smell it on me :( Would definitely repurchase though, despite the shockingly weak sillage. It is simply just too good to pass up! :)

Notes from Fragrantica: Lavender, vanilla, rose, neroli, jasmine, sandalwoodThis takes the beauty of the Mon Guerlain EDT and amps it up a bit with rose and neroli, creating a bright, fresh, gorgeous Spring scent that radiates happiness. If you found the EDP version of Mon Guerlain just a bit too heavy, too powdery, or too sweet, then I suggest you try the EDT version AND Bloom of Rose---they are both fresher interpretations of the fragrance while keeping true to the idea of an almost gourmand vanilla lavender heart. This one is quite a bit lighter so I don't expect a ton of longevity from it---I see a lot of reviewers calling this a shy rose, and that is an apt description. It's more of a rosewater or rose bud fragrance, I can see this being a hit with Spring and Summer brides, to be honest. Not generic by any means, but unassuming and overall pleasant in nature. Definitely full bottle worthy.

I like this foundation bc from the quality you can really see that it‘s a high-end foundation. It has a radiant-natural finish and a light coverage. You can barely see that anything is on the skin, that‘s why it‘s great for a everyday make up. I love mixing it with buildable foundations like the NYX total control one. The concealer is light coverage aswell and the applicator is great for appling the foundation&concealer but not for blending it. The mirror comes in handy and the package is great for traveling!

I used to love this fragrance in 2006 - 2008 and got a sample to refresh my memories before repurchasing. It's vanilla sweet, powdery, and rather subtle. The lasting power is great. I can't say anything bad about it, but My taste has changed, now I prefer fresh scents. Great perfume nevertheless, if you like sweet powdery non-overpowering fragrances I think I'd love this one.

Darn you Guerlain for putting perfume in every single product.L'essentiel is one of the most beautiful foundations I've ever encountered: it slides on, it stays on and my skin looked soft, clear and with a tat of dewy-ness that I like. Love on first sight. And then, after 3 days of wearing it: spots! Itchiness like a mo! Little bumps! O my word NO!.O my word yes.:-(. The perfume. Please please please take it out Guerlain, or make two versions (one scented, one not), do something, you're missing customers (with good money, for these products do not come cheap). That said: if your skin can handle a fair amount of perfume, go and try and maybe love L'essentiel.

I received this oil as a gift from my aunt. Specifically, my aunt gave a bottle to my mom and one to me. Unfortunately, I only used this once because it broke me out like crazy :((( I have sensitive skin in general but I have used jojoba oil and almond oil on my face in the past without problems. This made my face super red then I started getting more acne. My mom didn't get acne though but she wasn't satisfied with the oil as well. It's very oily and thick and doesn't absorb that well. She used it once and decided it didn't suit her. Even if I hadn't received it as a random gift, I would have still bought it myself because the Abeille Royale line looks so luxurious and enticing. And I find that gold color and packaging irresistible. Also honey in general makes me feel like its supposed to be very nutritious for the skin. So sad that this didn't work out on my face T T

This isn't my first Guerlain foundation, I like it, but it isn't a love..I prefer foundations without silicones, but in truth as long as it goes on fluid and smooth, I don't care...This foundation is interesting , it goes on kind of nice but you have to work it...in the end, I don't feel my skin is a lot better with it on !? The choice of Colors is real good...i feel it is almost for all skin types, maybe more for normal..i have it, I use it, but it isn't my first choice if it makes sense..it has a nice smell, the bottle is ok for me...it doesn't waow me, and the natural thing doesn't change much in my opinion..maybe I find the concept too gimmicky, I don't care that my beauty products carry politically correct messages..it is a nice one, nothing more for me.

This is my favourite palette I've ever owned. It gives so much joy. I have been a makeup enthusiast (some might say addict) for nearly 20 years (gasp). Ever since I was a teenager I'd collect makeup. Two years ago I finally decided that's it, I have every colour known to man, I need to stop! Well I shan't say I actually stopped, but there was a definite slow down. Which is why, when I saw this collection come out, my first thought was, ew that looks like cheap Chinese makeup palettes. So I skipped it without much thought. It got mixed reviews, but the swatches intrigued me enough that I felt some remorse. It's so different to anything guerlain has ever done before.Well suddenly one day, I saw it whilst I was at tkmaxx (quelle horreur! Mais non, pas Guerlain!!!) but they'd still priced it at £50, albeit this poor degraded specimen was swatched and missing all its brushes by this point. But seeing it in the flesh [I didn't swatch it as I'm not "that person"] I could see how much more beautiful it was than the official picture had been. The shades were jewel like and glistened merrily. I checked how much it was online, and to my delight it was half price at one of my local department stores! Off I rushed.I wore it today and I couldn't be more thrilled. The highlighters are shiny, they're not the same as the highlighters I have had from them in the past (which I love) they're actually more blingy. One is glittery and a bit like a super glittery meteorites ball but it disperses nicely when on the face, it's very fine but still sparkly. The other is gold frost but sheers out so it doesn't look too warm on my skin. (I noted with relief that it is nothing like the yellow gold of sun in the city) And both, not powdery. The shadows are saturated with colour but not clownish. They're designed for a grown up eye. (I will not utter, "mature"!) The golds and pale shades are metallic but not frosty like an old fashioned 80s shadow or a cheap Chinese palette. They're creamy metallics. The green which I'd worried would be patchy and sheer, is actually easily buildable and it's a very subtle forest green, it isn't garish.I don't think they should have put the red next to the green ("red and green should never be seen") and purple, it's a bit jarring. But that's a minor gripe. Oh also whilst on gripes, I don't like the way the black shiny packaging picks up fingerprints. When I first opened it I thought someone had fingered my palette (dingbat) before I realised that was me pulling it out. I've never had a package which highlighted finger prints that horribly, and it gave me a shock. I was expecting it to look expensive as I've come to expect from guerlain but I have noticed a worrying trend that they've cheapened out their packaging by degrees. It's not that it looks cheap; inside it really doesn't, but I think it does have something of a cheap Chinese palette about it which is sad. (I'm thinking of those cheap shiny black plastic blockbuster eyeshadow palettes one gets on eBay etc.) I preferred last year's holiday palette packaging (though I skipped that too so I'm just going by pictures, but it did at least have ornamental gold on it.)Anyway, I did a look today using the gold, the copper and then the purple under the eye, and it lasted all day and was very wearable and looked extremely flattering. The highlighters, I used a loose bristled brush and put it all over and it made me look more vibrant. Yes, I had all these shades already, I didn't need it. But I actually think this will be an everyday palette and I can imagine hitting pan on it! Which, in all these years, I've never actually done or even ever considered anything worthy of this potential milestone. This palette really does feel like it's got so many options, all still within the "neutral" realm, that I won't get bored for a long time. I can also see it being a good travel palette. What I like about it is that it has highlighters of fabulous quality, with a variety of uplifting eye shades. In the past, I would have possibly sprung the full £64, and I don't think even at that price that it's bad value. For getting it half price, it was just impossible to resist.

This is a rich balm that instantly hydrates. Its a very thick texture that does a great job at hydrating and plumping the skin. I use this on special occasions when my skin feels very dehydrated. I typically use it as a spot treatment every my regular night moisturizer and it does the trick beautifully.

This is for the newly released version (2018). If you are a fan of light powdery violet scent of the Meteorite Pearls you will love this. Its a very soft and beautiful scent. I don't reach for it often enough.

This is a beautiful light floral. I definitely get the freesia notes in this and the dry down is the lovely musk and sandalwood. A great spring or summer scent.
