Awful product and not for sensitive skin. I have normal skin and was given some samples. The first time I used it, it was fine. After the third use I noticed my skin was abnormally dry and super flakey. I have never had dry or irritated skin before and I am shocked that something that is recommended for sensitive skin does this. Stay away!

I started using this eye cream exactly 3 months ago. I wanted to test it long enough so I could give an honest and accurate review. Over the years I've wasted tons of money on a myriad of pricey eye creams that simply don't work. I wish I'd take before & after photos because the results I've had with this eye cream are absolutely amazing! I am 48 and was just starting to get fine lines around my eyes. After using this eye cream consistently once a day for 3 months, the fine lines are completely gone! I'm not sure how this would work on deeper lines, but I started noticing results after about a month of use. As much as I love this eye cream, it unfortunately doesn't do anything at all for dark circles or puffiness. I am still looking for something that will help with those issues. Also, at $85 for 0.5 oz, it is extremely expensive. I purchased my tube at Ulta using reward points and only paid around $30. When this tube runs out I will most definitely repurchase as it works so wonderfully but will wait for a 20% coupon.--

So far I think this is a good retinol cream. The packaging doesn't expose the cream to light or air, that's a really good sign for retinol cream because it should never be exposed to light or air. It says only use once a day which leads me to believe it might have a high retinol content. It gives me a few dry patches, which is another good sign that it has a high retinol content, or so I hope it does. You only need a little, it spreads very well. Its a nice thick spreadable texture. It is greasy though and takes a little to sink into skin. So I'd wait a while before layering other lotions on top of it. However, there isn't a lot of product in the bottle. The price is decent but not that great for the amount you get. Luckily, they sell it at TJ Maxx which downs the price a bit.

Expensive for such a crummy product. This has a light natural scent of lavender. Contains the harsh surfactant Sodium C14-16 Olefin sulfonate. Also contains bergamot essential oil, which is a know skin irritant. This did not remove all of my face makeup and did a very poor job at eye makeup removal. I like Free & Clear cleanser much better than this.

Combination chemical exfoliator (lactic acid, and papaya, pineapple, and pumpkin enzymes), with a VERY fine physical exfoliator. So fine I can barely feel they are there. Instructions say to scrub and then leave on for around 2 minutes before rinsing off. However the grains are so sparse and fine I find they don't do anything, so its basically a 2 minute acid peel mask. A smooth cream the color of a spinach smoothie. Intensely scented with Cinnamon-rich Rum and Raisin icecream complete with alcohol. Not keen on all the fragrance ingredients, Limonene, Linalool, and Cinnamon oil being there as they are known to age and irritate skin. This is fairly strong for me, I feel a mild sting all over and a stronger sting just beside my nose so I avoid there. This went away as soon as I washed it off. No irritation to my sensitive skin. No breakouts. For such a pricey hyped product, I'm surprised to find doesn't actually do anything for my skin. I usually get softer, smoother and brighter skin and clearer pores after exfoliating. But with Exfolikate but my face actually looks duller and rougher the next day, and my pores look worse. I have normal + sensitive mid 40's skin. This review is for the stronger "Intense" version, not the "Gentle" version.

I will definitely have to update this review at the one month mark, but I've used this cleanser for the last few days and am really happy with it so far. I know it's too soon to get excited, as that's just how acne-prone skin works :(What I like - It doesn't irritate my skin, it doesn't seem drying, it gets off all my makeup and sunscreen, and it leaves my skin feeling super soft. I had a concentrated spot of closed comedones on my cheek that wouldn't budge, and between switching my concealer and using this cleanser at night they're finally purging, but without any breakouts in areas that didn't already have something going on. My skin looks glowy. What I don't like - I bought this at Sephora when I was returning a different face cleanser, and the lady at the counter was super enthusiastic about this one as she said she had similar problems with the cleanser I was returning. I was uncertain because I didn't know if I wanted to fall in love with a cleanser whose full size retails for $38USD. I bought the travel size based on her enthusiasm for it (she was also really nice), and so far plan on using the entire tube, and buying the full size if I'm happy with it. I like the smell but it's the only scented skincare product I use. Would always prefer using an unscented product. I also know that whatever is in this exfoliating is on the face for a very short time, but it seems to be working. Month Update: This product, used at night rather than the recommended twice a day, has helped some problem spots on my skin purge in a way that felt gentle, and it's an all-star cleanser for removing makeup and sunscreen efficiently. As far as glowiness goes, I don't think that continued use has helped tremendously in that arena. I still have the majority of the travel sized tube I bought left and will definitely finish it and update again, but I think that I would still rather use a less expensive daily cleanser, and invest more in other aspects of my skincare regimen. Long review, but another update: I've continued to use this cleanser, but I'm starting to suspect that the "purging" is going on for too long. I might continue to use this, but I'm considering going back to my old cleanser. Not sure if it's necessary to use an exfoliating wash every day either. Took off another lippie for the continued pimples. Final update: I stopped using this and my skin is CHILLING out, finally. I think this actually broke me out really badly - I was getting way more pimples, all the time. Bummer, cause I sort of miss the smell.

I got it in a starter pack to try it out. It sloughs off dead skin and makes your face feel smooth. It has been making my make up sit much better. I use it twice a week I. The shower and scrub it in for 30 seconds then let it sit for about 2 min and wash it off. I don’t think I would re buy just because of the price.

A high end moisturiser that contains salicylic acid to clear blocked pores,a weak form of Retinol, ie Retinyl Propionate to target anti-aging concerns (pores, age spots, fine wrinkles), and a few high end skin conditioners (Sodium PCA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Peptides and more). After using for four nights I have found each day my pores more clear, my skin looks brighter and feels softer and more moisturised. Does not irritate my very sensitive skin. The scent I've grown to like, a lemony pine herbal, halfway between fresh and musty. Not sure if I would repurchase at this point due to the high end price point. But I have seen a difference in my skin and sure would like to.

This product is expensive. But, it works which makes it worth it in my opinion.I have tried many other spot treatments, including even more expensive ones (Dr Dennis Gross acne mask) and I feel the Kate Sommerville one delivers better more immediate results.Pros:- It does what it says is does: dry's out acne and pimples quickly and effectively, often times overnight- Super easy to wash off in the a.mCons:- Hard to travel with as the bottle is glass and cannot be shaken- For me, the very strong scent of alcohol is a massive con

Having a serious allergic reaction to this product. Face is inflamed, red, itchy, and tingly, especially around my eyes. Actually my eyes are in pain too. My skin is fairly sensitive but I haven’t had a reaction this bad in years.

I have tried other cold creams and never liked them. My grandmother had Pond's. I tried it. It had a lot of mineral oil in it and I never liked the feel or smell of it. I broke out when I used the old-fashioned cold creams. This is completely different. Kate Somerville's formulation is more modern. It's light and fluffy. There is NO mineral oil in this. It's water-based instead of oil-based. The texture is like cappuccino foam or whipped cream. There is a little fragrance in it, but not overwhelming. It smells lightly fruity to me with a hint of jasmine. This removes my makeup really well. I use a warm washcloth to wipe it off. My skin feels very soft and smooth afterwards. Does not dry me out like regular cleansers. Her Clarifying Toner is great, too.The jar is fine but I wish she offered this in a travel tube as well.

As a moisturizer for oily skin it’s good nothing special but it works. However I love the packaging. It allows you to use the perfect amount of product without using too much. For this reason I’m purchasing it again.

Perfect toner. First I love the packaging. Designed so you don’t use too much wasting product like the sprays and squirt bottles.
The toner itself does exactly what it advertises.
