One of my favourite all time cleansers, Estee Lauder has done it again with this rich creamy luxurious foam cleanser that produces copious amount of foam with the smallest squeeze of cleanser. This may be a bit too drying for drier skins so please be wary, however for those with Normal to Combination/Oily skins this is just fine. I like to use the Estee Lauder Perfectly Clean Creme Cleanser in the morning and this one at night. After removing makeup with the Advanced MIcro Cleansing Balm I then follow with this, it is just heaven! The smell is a deliciously refreshing crisp cucumber scent that is not too heavy. PRO'SRemoves makeup swiftlyDoesn't leave skin feeling dryProduces copious amount of foamLasts very long timeTravels wellCON'SNone

This foundation was a fail for me. I usually wear a TM but wanted something with a bit more coverage for the holiday season so I went and got shade matched at an EL counter for this. The first failure was the match I was given from their handheld. Way way too light the S.A. was super confused and started trying to eyeball match to my skin tone. I'm usually about a L-Medium neutral shade in the winter in most foundations. We chose 3N1 as the closest match in the horrendous lighting. There was no samples available for the color match guaranty so I bought the full size and kept the receipt. Thank god.I had to return it within 48 hours. It had a nice satin finish and solid medium coverage but the color was off and too orangey. I tried getting rematched to a better color but nothing seemed to work well. I also think that this may have broken me out. Nice finish but I just couldn't make it work

I love Estee Lauder products, but I have never had any of their mascaras work for me. I was excited to try this formula. It is very black, nice wand, but this is a very liquid formula that transfers, have you qtip ready. I applied multiple layers trying to get voluminous flashes, but I did not get volume. I thought this was a volumizing formula? It is not even with multiple coats applied. I have very straight eyelashes that stick straight out. I use an eye curler after I heat it up with a blow dryer to get my lashes to curl. I hold the curler there till it cools off and my lashes curl and are very long, but as soon as I apply this mascara, my lashes fall and go back to bone straight. I think the product is too heavy for my lashes. And it clumps no matter how much I wipe off before application. If you have natural curly lashes and want them to go straight try this formula. If you are like me, save your money and get YSL mascara. This formula keeps my lashes curly all day and clump free.

Love the wide range of colors! Really like the finish and how long lasting it is. But there is one BUT - it doesn't look good on my nose as my skin gets oily it leaves dots on my nose. So I'm not sure if I will continue using it

I had first used Advanced Night Repair when I was in my mid-twenties. Having few skin concerns back then (and not noticing much improvement), I stopped using the expensive product after the first bottle so I could free up cash for more "fun" cosmetics like lipstick!Fast forward to today, I'm 44-years-old. Now that I am noticing less radiance, a rougher skin texture, some fine lines around my eyes, between my brows, and along nasolabial folds, I'm much more influenced to spend money on skin care rather than "fun" cosmetics. Remembering how my older friends had raved about Advanced Night Repair when I was still in my twenties, I thought I'd revisit the product.Being frugal, I was happy to find this miraculous formula in a small, inexpensive trial-size at Ulta for a lot less money than the full-sized bottle. I bought the little bottle last week, and started using it right away, only at nighttime after cleansing. Amazingly, I noticed improved skin texture and radiance the very next morning, after only one use! I have been faithfully using the product each night now, for a total of about six nights. The fine lines between my brows are no longer visible, even with a magnifying mirror. Though still present, my nasolabial lines are much less distinct. The texture of skin beneath my eyes is noticeably smoother and tighter, with no visible lines. Old acne scars have faded to almost nothing, to the point where a very light BB cream conceals them. My husband has been complimenting me more than usual, saying that my skin is glowing and so soft. (A waitress this week told my husband that his daughter is so pretty! Haha! I'm only 8 years younger than my husband, so she was embarrassed when she learned that I'm his wife, not his daughter.) Needless to say, I will be purchasing the full-sized bottle next week and using it religiously for the foreseeable future! A word of advice to youngsters out there: Go ahead and spend money on good skincare now, so that you have a head start on your complexion concerns that present at a later date. Remember your sunscreen EVERY single day, whether you're spending time outside or not. Don't wait until you see wrinkles before you start addressing them. They're harder to eliminate once they appear.

The shade is a perfect match which normally is quite a struggle for me. I have combination skin with a few dry spots and some imperfections such as pimples and a few acne scars.First of all, the packaging sucks. No pump?! How am I supposed to get the foundation out without wasting product? Nope, that's just dumb.I used this foundation with a primer, a quite cheap drugstore primer that I use on an every day basis. As for the formula I find it a tad too thick but it blends really well on my skin. I used a damp beauty blender and it worked really well. I guess a thick formula is to expect when it is supposed to stay put for 10+ hours. It's very buildable and the coverage ranges from ligh to heavy. I prefer a medium coverage so I used two layers. With this product you benefit from building it up gradually as opposed to using one thick layer. After two layers I still need to use a concealer for spot touch up as I have a tiny bit of acne and the red spots are coming through. I can really feel the foundation on my face which as a problem for me. I don't like the feeling of having a mask on and this feels really heavy.Overall this is not ideal for me. It's a good product and my skin looks really good, almost like it's my own skin, but the feeling of the product on my skin really kills it for me. Normally I use the Estee lauder double wear cushion stick which I really LOVE so I automatically thought that the products would be similar only this one providing a bit more coverage. Nope, I still need my concealer here!I put it on at 10 am and now it's 5 pm. The foundation still looks flawless! No cracking, no oxidation and it hasn't sunken into my pores. It looks really good! The mask-like feeling hasn't gone away and I constantly get reminded of having foundation on. If that is not a problem for you this is a really rad product! I think I will use this for special occasions when I want to look flawless without touching up.PROS:- Shade is a perfect match - Looks really natural even after two layers- A variation of coverage - Blends really well - Photographs well- Doesn't oxide - as promised it does hold for a really long time CONS:- No pump - my face feels heavy with product - The price - Doesn't cover acne redness - Thick formula

Best mascara I've ever used. It gives long, black, fanned out lashes without looking clumpy and dry. The fan out effect is what a lot of mascaras cant give me. It doesnt clump at the ends of the lashes, usually good mascaras like maybelline's lash sensational does that, which irks me so much. It's not waterproof but it doesnt rly smudge so i find that i can accept it. The fact that it's not waterproof makes it sooo easy to remove. A lot of waterproof mascaras are so tough to remove even with a damn good oil or balm cleanser, that u somehow rub and cause a lot of unnecessary stress on your eye area. The wand is big and i kept poking my eye accidentally at the start, but now i've gotten used to it. The ends of the wand get the shorter lashes at the ends of ur eyes and fan them out, giving such a "falsies" effect. I love love love this mascara and have already stocked 2 of them. Great formula

If I could give it 0 I would. It was applied by the woman in the store when I wanted to try it out and it looked awful on my skin (extremely dry and sensitive). My whole face looked incredibly dry and red due to the other products she used. I tried applying it myself via a sample to see if it was any better - no luck. I was very disappointed as I'd heard amazing things and have a friend with dry skin and it looks good on her. I'd say AVOID if you have very dry skin! I can see how it would be good for oily skin though but I'm glad I didn't buy it.

Omg why didn't I try this sooner!! I wore it for the first time yesterday and I'm so impressed!!! Pros:-Beautiful finish- matte but not flat -did not need a setting powder (I have Combo skin)-Full coverage with one layer-Perfect colour match (ivory nude- I'm 117 in had mufe, 120 mat velvet and buff in colorstay)-stayed for the full 9 hours I wore it-no transfer- looks just as good at the end of the night as it did when I first applied it! - didn't oxidize - a little goes along way Cons:- no pump = messy and spillage prone- you can definitely feel that you're wearing makeup-does take more effort to remove than other foundations, but I mean duhhhhh ----with its lasting power, it should So excited about this! I'm normally acne prone and my skin has been good for the last month until a couple days ago I got a food related break out- just in time for a big dinner party... So I decided to try this and I couldn't believe it-My skin looked flawless despite the breakout. I received several compliments on my skin at the party! Not my makeup but my skin- "wow you're skin looks great"! Awesome. I'll save this for special occasions tho since it does feel "heavy" (you don't forget that you have foundation on). I used a beauty blender and let it set for 5 minutes before I did the rest of my makeup.

I’ve tried different kinds of foundations and this one is really the best I’ve had. I have oily skin and I live in a hot and humid country, this stays in place almost all the time. I apply it with a beauty blender for a smooth finish. It doesn’t cake on me or seep in those fine lines unlike KVD. I have yet to find something better that has better coverage and lasting power. A good dupe for this in my opinion is Maybelline Matte perfection but it doesn’t last as long and it transfers quickly. I just don’t like the packaging, you have to be super careful because I always end up taking more than I need.

I am a big fan of the original DW stay-in-place version that I consider the most performant foundation available. Still, couldn't help myself trying this too. I will compare it with the original. So: the CONs 1. It looks much too dewy, almost greasy even from the begining. 2. I noticed NO oil-controlling effect. 3. It creases in wrinkles if applied for medium coverage. The PROs: 1. Sufficient coverage for minor complexion issues. 2. "Transparent" effect. Conclusion: it really needs a touch of powder - which the original didn't - especially on the nose. The "stay-in-place" feature of the original cannot be equaled, ever.

After reading the reviews, I was tempted to try this since I've been on the hunt for a "perfect" foundation for my dry & sensitive skin. Here's my take:Price: $48 Canadian for 30 mL(I think it's $42 USD)Shade: The SA mentioned this was slightly lighter in shade than their regular double wear line and I was color matched to Desert Beige 2N1 (I am typically Mac NC20). Ecru 1N2 was also okay but I found it leaning a bit pinkish despite that it's neutral toned.Texture: Thin and runny. It feels light and goes on smoothly.Coverage: Personally, I find it gives somewhat medium coverage and covers my mild redness. It's dewy which I like but for someone with oilier skins, I'm not too sure if this may get oilier as the day goes on. Throughout the day, while I do like the "glowy" factor, I do find that it breaks apart in some areas (chin) after a few hours of wear.Package: No pump which I think is disappointing. EL sells a pump on their site for $13 (Cdn) which I think is greedy on their part because a plastic pump is cheap to make. They've been upping their prices which is starting to turn me away (especially when you see that this foundation is identical to their sister brands- see further on).Ingredients: Active Ingredients: Octinoxate 5%, Titanium Dioxide 3.1%, Zinc Oxide 2.1%. Inactive Ingredients: Water\Aqua\Eau, Methyl Trimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Silica, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Dimethicone, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate , C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone Silylate, Lauryl PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Glycerin, Polysilicone-11, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Chloride, Tocopheryl Acetate, , Zinc Stearate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium PCA, Lecithin, Dimethicone/PEG-10/15 Crosspolymer, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Laureth-7, Citrullus Vulgaris (Watermelon) Fruit Extract, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Triethyl Citrate, BHT, Thermus Thermophillus Ferment, Potassium Sorbate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Sodium Hyaluronate, , Lens Esculenta (Lentil) Fruit Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Hexylene Glycol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Disodium EDTA, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Lactate, Calcium Chloride, Dextrin, Litchi Chinensis Seed Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Protein, Polyglutamic Acid, Laminaria Saccharina Extract[+/- Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Iron Oxides (CI 77499)].I've learned that this foundation has virtually the same ingredients as Mac Waterweight foundation and Smashbox BB cream. No. While I like the coverage and lightness, I don't like the packaging, cost and runny texture. Also, personally, I prefer physical sunscreens due to my rosacea. For someone who really likes this, a virtually identical alternative would be MAC's waterweight foundation which comes with a dropper and is cheaper by a few bucks.Personally, I'm still on the hunt... This is supposed to be a dewy, less coverage (but buildable) version of the original ELDW with SPF 30. The idea of it sounds great, but the execution didn't quite live up to what it advertises. My skin is combo (mostly oily with dry patches on cheeks). I was new to the whole ELDW line but wanted to try it since makeup board gives (the original) ELDW such glowing reviews and I was on a mission to find HG status foundation. I went to Nordstrom and the recommended this because she said that you cannot feel this as, whereas you can feel the original ELDW. She gave me a sample of ELDW Nude where I tired it. I stress tested this a bit and these are my findings:Pros:Color match is the best, better than UD Naked Skin, Smashbox or Tarte (NC 20 and matched with Desert Beige). ELDW's color range works for my olive leaning undertone.Coverage looks flawless when applied with a slightly damp Beauty Blender, it really does look like your skinVery light weight, it feels like there is nothing on my skinDoesn't accentuate my dry patchesLasted through a 30 minute run in the sunLasted through a hot steamy showerCons:After a several hours I looked oily (and my skin is not even THAT oily to begin withHow it compares to original ELDW:It bothered me that the SA did not give me sample of the original ELDW for comparison, so I went to Macy's and asked for a sample of the original ELDW to compare. For me, the original ELDW has everything on the Pros list above, but it does not have the Cons list. The only thing that the original ELDW does not have is the SPF, and that is not a deal breaker for me since I use SPF underneath anyway. Conclusion: if you want SPF, your skin is super dry, and you want dewy and medium coverage, look no further: this is great. However, you're even in the combo/oily category, I would stick with the original ELDW or keep looking.

I first used this product when it was first introduced almost 20 years ago. I thought it was a nice cream then. It had a nice fragrance - not at all the heavy rose scent that it has now. I recently purchased a jar for my mother. It now comes if different formulas, I purchased the dry skin formula for her. It was very heavy and emollient, good for dry to very dry skins. It leaves the skin very soft and smooth, with a bit of a sheen or a "glow" as they say. She liked the cream, said it softened and smoothed her skin. She said she felt no tightening/lifting nor has she noticed her skin looking or feeling firmer. Judging from the complaints I've read, maybe people are buying the wrong formula for their skin type. One should be sure to ask for a sample of the different formulas before purchasing to try them and to help make a decision on which one is best suited for your skin type. I do agree about the fragrance - very strong rose scent - smells like "old Lady". Fitting when you consider that the rose fragrance was supposedly a favorite of madame Estee Lauder herself. I read it was her signature scent.
