What good is a black eyeliner that's not opaque, even after multiple passes? It does smudge nicely, but with any deep or dark shade of eyeliner, patchiness is an instant dealbreaker for me. Next!

It's a lovely colour but has no staying power

I actually really like the lengthening properties of this mascara. it's great with a lot of makeup or no makeup.
I originally bought it because Tati on YouTube raved about it and I was unhappy with what I had. definitely a worthy recommendation.

There are a ton of aqua/turquoise liners out there, but I was on the market for something greener than the usual shades in that color family. Seafoam Green is decidedly more green than blue; I'd categorize it as a lighter version of Crayola's "Jungle Green," with a pearly finish. It's just the *color* I was after, and I'll keep using it. However...it's not very pigmented. Honestly, it's impossible to get a completely opaque line, even after several passes. Seafoam Green gives a subtle "mermaid" look, if that's what you're after; it'd be really cute on a little girl, and absolutely ideal for an almost-no-makeup look that still has that aquatic edge. I like it best with an exaggerated "cat eye" flip, so that it's more noticeable under my mascara. I'll keep looking for the right aqua green liner, although I'd repurchase Seafoam Green if I ran out before finding something more to my taste. It does go on very smoothly, with no tugging or dragging, so I'm definitely up for trying more shades from this line.

I’ve had 5 shades of the original butter gloss: this, Tiramisu (my absolute fave), Red Velvet, Devil’s Food Cake, and Blackberry Pie. AFC is described as a mauve, but it pulls more pink on me. I was a little disappointed because I’m not a huge fan of straight-up pink lip products, but mauves are a staple in my collection. I’ve noticed that NYX’s shade descriptions aren’t exactly on point. What is on point, however, is the quality of this gloss. I’ve reviewed Butter Glosses in general, so I’ve already expressed my undying love for these little cosmetic treasures, but I feel like I need to do AFC some justice. Even though it’s so obviously pink on me with not a hint of mauve to be found, this is a very flattering colour on my NC10-NC15 skin tone. Not over-the-top pink, but enough to add some life to my face when my chronic illness flares up and I don’t have the energy to do a full face of makeup. It’s ridiculous how much livelier I look when I swipe a couple coats of this onto my lips. I wouldn’t say this is an MLBB shade for me, but it’s very natural looking without being unnoticeable. Butter glosses tend to last an hour or so on me, which isn’t a big deal as I love reapplying them and they’re easy to apply without a mirror. If you have a light and cool skin tone, this will be a nice pop of natural colour to your face. If AFC doesn’t work for you, NYX has about 30 something other shades of this stellar little gloss, so you’re covered.

I bought this on a whim from the 75 percent off bin at my local CVS. I actually really really like the product, the brow pencil works really well and the color (taupe) is great for me. The highlighter stick is also really pretty and gives a great, subtle sheen. That being said, the packaging is so terrible that I don’t know if I would buy this again, unless I could find it in the bargain bin. Every time I use it both ends get stuck in the caps and o have to fish them out. Then they usually fall on the floor and I have to stick them back in the tube before using it. I also think Nyx “gets” you by putting barely any product in the packaging. There products aren’t that cheap if you are getting only half the product as the more expensive brands.

I love these lip glosses! The colors are really pretty and flattering; I don’t see the need to buy expensive lip glosses when products this good are available from the drug store.

I almost didn't buy this given the negative reviews here, but then thought that I'd try it anyway since it's not expensive. I'm glad I did. It really works for me (I use Light Beige on my NC42 skin) - a very simple, clean, blurred finish (as promised) that lasts through the workday. Has not broken me out so far. At this price point I highly recommend it.

Great powder. It gives a very natural finish and makes your face look flawless, and is very lightweight but lasts nearly all day (even for my oily skin). The container is huge so it should definitely stay at home (not good for packing in your bag for a mid-day touch up), but the good thing about that is you get a lot of powder and it lasts a long time. You don't need to use very much since it's so fine and soft it just glides and spreads evenly over your face. A big plus is that it also prevents my foundation from looking ashy. Fantastic product.

Highlights texture and fine lines under my eye, making them look 10x worse. Tried it with and without under-eye primer and setting powder. Nothing helps. Threw it out since Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada doesn't take returns.

I purchased this and the NYX Total Control Foundation. The brush has very soft synthetic bristles and is angled with the bristles curving in slightly. No matter how I tried to use this, the brush absorbed more foundation than I could apply to my skin. Just did not work out for me.

I am actually using this to make a tinted moisturizer. I add 4 drops of NYX drop foundation to my moisturizer with spf and am very pleased with the results. For some reason, liquid foundations look like I am wearing a mask. When I tried to use this as foundation, it took way more drops than the packaging indicated to get good coverage and it did not look natural on me. I even purchased the NYX Total Control Foundation brush to apply this and it just did not work out for me. When I blend it into my moisturizer I get a natural, evened out look that I really like. I set this with Pur Balancing Act powder.

What a good name as this is being "hyped" all over YouTube! This is an inexpensive mascara that was billed to perform as well as more expensive brands. I love mascara, high and low end, although my everyday mascara is Lash Paradise or Cover Girl Clump Crusher. NYX is not a brand I purchase often. This mascara is at best mediocre. It does not flake or transfer, but it is not at all thickening for me. It basically coats my lashes, is buildable, but that does not make it more thickening. I solved this by tight lining my upper lashes. I noticed immediately that there was very little on the brush, like not detectable. The brush is the standard, nothing special. I am curious how much product is in the tube? I have never used a mascara straight out of the tube that appeared to have no product. I think that it is worthy of a trial since it is cheap ($7.99) and is currently buy one get one 50% off on Ulta. I will probably use it for awhile to see how much product is in there.

I received the Lip Lingerie in the shade Exotic. The cost for a tube is normally $7, but I received it for free as part of a Black Friday shopping promotion. Although it is a very cheap product, I can honestly say that I am glad I did not spend my own money on it. This liquid lipstick is a cream that dries down, but does not seem to quite fill in all of the space on the lips. It is not fully transfer proof on hands or on a drinking glass and it does not hold up at all against food. It also is weak against water. The applicator is also an odd shape and at an odd angle. While not everyone likes the typical doe foot applicator on most liquid lipsticks, the Lip Lingerie applicator will be more difficult for people to use. Although the product is cheap and the color is pretty, I would not repurchase this or recommend it.

This was a product that was there for me when nothing else was, coverage-wise. I went through a really bad bout of cystic and nodular acne in the past 6 months and it got to a point where no foundation was working and my regular undereye concealers didn't cut it. Enter the NYX full coverage concealer. I use the shade beige or light beige, which is the lightest yellow shade in the line. It's a tad too dark for my winter skin (NC15) but I could still make it work. I usually used it under foundation, covered up what I need to using a warm fingertip and then patted the foundation on top with a sponge. I find the coverage stayed all day when applied that way and it didn't look too cakey. The coverage isn't 100% but I was using it on the worst of the worst in terms of imperfections and it did take away most of the redness. I would highly recommend if you're looking for something to cover very severe imperfections like acne or birthmarks. It can also be used as an eye primer or for cut creases. I definitely don't recommend for undereye concealing - it's just way too heavy.
