The red-toned shades of this product are just insanely long lasting. I wore Ruffle Trim swimming and in the shower and it was still on my lips. It's also worth noting that the shades will look different on different people, for instance Ruffle Trim looks very red on me and is super flattering. My sister admired it and bought it only to have it show up more tan and more pink on her.

Wow! Gorgeous packaging on this lippie! I bought the first four shades and I am very impressed. So far I have only had the chance to wear two colors but they were both beautiful. All shades have a blue shift (the 'chromatic' aspect of the product). 02 Pastel Comet is a blue gloss with a blue shift but is surprisingly wearable. It is not too dramatically blue yet still maintains the color.03 Galaxy Glow is a cool-toned pink gloss with a blue shift. It's the most wearable shade in the 11-shade collection and can be worn in the daytime and in more casual settings. The only downside to this product is that it only has .08 oz, half of the amount in Lip Lingerie and only one-fourth the amount in SMLC. So use sparingly! But it is absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful shades, all very pigmented. A lot of variety too, which is nice. I had not previously owned many of the colors before. Gorgeous palette that I highly recommend.

YUCK! Worst makeup purchase I've ever made. (Luckily, it was years ago so my regret is not current.)Out of the 10 shades in the palette, only 1 is great quality (shade 5, the gold). It's a nice warm-toned gold that shows up vibrantly on the eye. And... that's it.The matte brown shades (3, 4, and 8) are pretty good and therefore usable. Every other shade, however has no pigment whatsoever.15 dollars for 10 small pans? You can find a better deal almost anywhere. That's what gets me, because the palettes I use daily all cost less for more product.DO NOT buy this.

The problem with the SMLCs is not the formula (which is fantastic btw) but the fact that the tube is always a vastly different color than the product. This looks so bright on me and not in a flattering way at all. It's a medium-toned bright pink that just looks terrible.

- I'm reviewing the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shades "Zurich", "Stockholm" and "Antwerp".
- I'm NC15 with light brown/dark golden blonde ombre hair and light blue eyes.- I think warmer tones in makeup are more flattering on me than cooler tones, even though I have "cool" undertones in my skin.Scent: Like buttercream frosting (with a hint of lipstick-y smell).Texture: It has a kind of mousse/cream like texture, with a very slight sheen that dries down slightly and is very lightweight. It's very, very smooth and soft going on. You can barely tell you are wearing anything on your lips. It is slightly drying, since it is matte, so wear a light layer of lip balm underneath.Color: "Antwerp" is a medium muted coral on me. It's very wearable and I wear it to work with warmer shades of eye shadow and blush. It would be beautiful with some bronzer, but you could wear it year round. It's medium coverage.
"Zurich" is a light to medium warm pink nude that is very flattering. It's medium coverage. (I'm wearing it in the picture I posted, not sure why it's sideways. Sorry)
"Stockholm" is similar to "Zurich" but has more peach in it, so a medium peachy nude. It's medium coverage.
How long it lasted: It lasts about the same as any other bullet matte lipstick/non-long wear liquid lipstick. It is matte so it does wear longer than a satin/cream lipstick. It's not kiss-proof, but it's not sticky/gloopy either.I really love these lip creams! They are perfect for adding a pop of color even if you don't normally wear lipstick, since they are so lightweight.

Nowadays that everything is in matte, makeup is becoming very drying. I like the matte concept but it is rough on my lips. Plus, my lips are pretty sensitive and can swell up using the cheap ones. This lipstick is moisturizing but it looks matte which makes it perfect. The shade is definitely plum and nude. It looks great with mauve blush. Happy days!

Note: I'm not a person that likes to spend a whole lot of time on eye makeup. For years, I used just dark brown liner, but had always wanted that daytime smoky look without having to spend time blending it out. Enter this product. This color is pale for a stand-alone eyeliner, but works great stroked over dark liner. It smudges/smokes itself. I hardly ever need to use anything to blend it, unless I really overdo it. I'm on my 4th repurchase of this super affordable liner. It's also good for filling brows, though it veers on the warm side.Minus 1 star because it requires sharpening.

i love this! just got it a few days ago for my eyeshadows that aren't glittery per se, but more shimmer/glitter particles suspended in a shadow base (think wnw's "nutty"). you know, the ones that are so ~cReAmY~ they transfer to your upper lids throughout the day? yeah, those. this seems to do a pretty good job of keeping eyeshadow stuck to it!some notes - you can sort of feel it on your eyes, but i don't think the feeling is super unpleasant/uncomfortable and you get used to it after a few hours of wear. also, when i first got this product, i tested it on the back of my hand with various shimmery eyeshadows and found that some of the swatches without the glitter primer actually had a MORE metallic base, even if the glitter in them necessitated a glitter primer. for those it's probably best to apply once without primer, then apply the primer again on top, then add ANOTHER layer of eyeshadow so the glitter stays on your eyes all day long. so i def recommend that others with this primer test it on the back of their hand first to see which shadows can actually benefit from a primer like this.im a big fan and would definitely repurchase if i ever ran out!

Love this product. This review is for Matte May. It is a true matte. Stats on long and is a good primer for shadow. I bought white #14 which acts like a brightener without any sparkle. I will be trying other colors. Great price too!

I have combination/oily skin which needs medium coverage--I've found heavy coverage foundation gets cakey after time. I bought this foundation based on recommendations. After having used up an entire bottle, I like it enough to buy a second bottle. Positives: I like the wide range of colors available, especially given that it's not a high-end department store brand. The coverage is very good--after 8 hours it wears off, but then what brand doesn't? After putting it on in the morning and I check my face around lunchtime, it still provides good coverage, so that's a winner. The price is a bit on the high end when compared to other drug store brands ($10 per bottle), but Ulta often has buy-one-get-50%-off sale so that's okay.Negatives: The biggest issue initially was the packaging and the consistency of the foundation. I like the dropper as a more hygienic way to dispense the foundation. But the consistency was unexpectedly watery, way more than other brands I was used to (L'Oreal). I squeezed the dropper a bit too hard and ended up splashing tiny droplets of the foundation on the front of my clothes. Now I've gotten the hang of this, but for the first week or so, I would go to work *then* realize I had bits of foundation on my clothes. After using the first bottle - I've gotten the hang of the dropper so no more droplets. And the watery consistency feels "lighter" on my skin, compared to more creamy/heavier foundations. And True Beige fits my skin tone perfectly. So it's a keeper.

Doesn't do enough for me.It makes my face really smooth and my foundations blend easier and sit on top nicer. Plus my texture is more blurred. But, it doesn't fill in my pores at all.Doesn't control oils.Doesn't extend wear time.As for filling in lines, I'm not entirely sure if it does that or not.I'm gonna use it up because it was expensive for a 'drugstore' primer, but I'm most likely not going to repurchase.

Reassured by how many people swore by it online, I tried so hard to make this product work. To no avail: coverage is fine when you first apply it, but it tends to migrate down my cheeks within a few hours of application and make my dark circles as obvious as if I wore nothing to cover them. Besides, the finish is very powdery (on me anyway) and it definitely sets into fine lines. It always ages my eye area a lot when I use it, causing anything that I put on top of it (foundation, tinted moisturizer, concealer) to cake up.

I love this color!!! Super pretty. It's not a classic red but more of a deep red...BUT I hate this formula and the packaging. The formula is super moisturizing but it is soo messy and gets everywhere. It bleeds out quickly and doesn't stay in the lines : ( the packaging feels so cheap and the lid doesn't stay on good.....i really wish this was better....
