Moisturizers -CeraVe - Moisturizing Lotion

Trying to find something to replace Vaseline Clinical (discontinued), which I used on my face! Very very dry skin and susceptible to cysts, rosacea and eczema: also I live in an extremely dry cold climate. This stuff was not moisturizing in the least! Made my hands and face tight and dry. Red spots. Definitely not a recommend.

Lip Liners -Rimmel - Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner - Addiction 018

I lovie this lip liner so much! I’m on my third tube. I love the slant tip which gives me a sharp line every time...you do have to be careful not to twist it too much because it’s very soft and I have had the tip break off on me. However, if I just twist it up a little there’s no problem. This is my absolute favorite lipliner by far. It’s a dark mauvey pink brown and it goes with every nude I put on top of it. It’s also creamy enough to wear alone all over the lips. I can’t recommend this enough!

Lipstick -MAC - Impassioned (Amplified)

this is a beautiful watermelon pink that really, really looks good on brown/warm complexions. the perfect watermelon, actually. HOWEVER, it is slightly drying for some reason, and -- as others have mentioned -- it really sinks into lines on the lips unless your lips are exfoliated and moisturized very well before application.

Moisturizers -Repechage - Hydro-Complex PFS for dry skin

on 10/22/2017 4:32:00 PM

I was introduced to this in esthetician school and it's amazing for reactive, rosacea affected or very dry skin. Pro products like Repechage are super concentrated so a bit goes a long way.
My skin for reference is combination to dry, reactive, affected by rosacea especially on my nose. The weather here in FL is beneficial for the most part, but anything can cause a flare up and this cream helps soothe greatly.
I do wish it came in a tube; I use a spatula to dispense product ( sanitized of course) but it would be handier and more sanitary packaged in such a manner.
It's worth every penny and my skin feels a lot less abraded when using this cream.

Cleansers -Aveeno - Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser

Pros:
1. Cleanses well
2. Lasts a long time
3. Convenient pump design

Cons:
1. Doesn't help acne
2. A tiny bit drying
3. A tiny bit red skin

Overall a great low-priced cleanser, however, didn't help my acne whatsoever. Still glad that the salicylic acid caused little to none allergic reactions though.

Lips -Pat McGrath Labs - Matte Trance Lipstick

Pat is a genius regardless of what she does, but not sure these lipsticks live up to the hype. Packaging is gorgeous and reminds me of a Dali piece, yet I thought the product inside would be equally stellar and I'm a bit disappointed. It's not BAD by any means, but I reach for my Tom Ford and Charlotte Tilbury over this one generally.
i like a matte lipstick to have tons of pigment, hug my lips and wear for a long time. I'm just not certain paying an extra $21 is going to give anyone what a MAC matte couldn't, or on the drugstore side Milani mattes which are amazing quality. I think you're paying for packaging and the name, basically.
I got the reddish/orange shade Obsessed; it's lovely and great quality but probably could be duped for cheaper. Honestly that's my ONLY issue with the product too: I think TF is similarly overpriced.

Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - Vitapointe

I don't know why more people don't use this. Fantastic for your hair. Controls frizzes. makes hair shiny and healthy. Inexpensive and a little goes a very long way. Feels greasy in your hands but doesn't not make your hair greasy. There is a powdery scent but it goes away after 5 mins. I use it as a leave in conditioner or as a pre shampoo mask. Wonderful stuff. Go out and buy some.

Sunscreen -Coppertone - Coppertone Water Babies Pure and Simple, Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 50

on 10/22/2017 4:00:00 PM

foto

Pros:
1. Physical/healthy
2. No irritation

Cons:
1. Leaves white residue
2. Greasy
3. Sticky
4. Hard to rub in

This is my first ever sunscreen, and it made me hate sunscreen. I've never applied something so uncomfortable to my skin (I use it on my face and body), it made my morning routine a nightmare, I dread the thought of having to apply sunscreen. Yet due to my OCD, I had to finish it (I'm actually not totally done with it yet, but almost, after 2 years). This sunscreen made me a strong believer in chemical sunscreen, I don't care if it's bad for you, I only know that I CAN'T stand this white paint anymore.

BTW, I never really know exactly how much sunscreen helps me against tanning (my skin doesn't burn), so I can't really comment on the product's effectiveness. I usually apply sunscreen to make me feel better when being in the sun, lol.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

I rarely review skin care or cleanser for that matter, but since I really didn't had a good experience with this product I thought I could leave my thoughts here.

I have acne pretty easily sadly, after seeing adds of this product and so many reviews of people enjoying it I choosed to give it a go.
I was extremely disappointed to say the least. I used it for more than 6 months because I really wanted to give it a solid try, but this product only gave me more acne and made my skin even more sensitive. After stopping using it I started to have less acne and my skin came back to normal.

So, maybe it's because I have a combo skin type that it didn't worked for me.
But over all I do not recomend it, and I wil certainly not buy it again!

Polishes -Essie - Wicked

After buying my first Essie nail polish I really wanted to buy another one.
I love vampy colors so I thought that ''Wicked'' would be a perfect nail polish for me, all I can say is that I am really happy that I bought it!

For the few times I wore it I can say that it's amazing. The formula itself is pretty good, the only down side I found to this nail polish is that it's not fully opac. It needs atleast 2 coast, sometimes 3, to be like the color in the bottle. The wear time is also amazing, without a base or top coat I was able to wear it for a whole week without seeing any chippings (And that tells a lot because I am an Traditional Artist, I work with pencils and paint, I use my hands a lot). It was easy to remove too.

Something that I really love about Essie nail polishes is that the brush is really small and easy to use. If you have curved nails that you'll probably like the application.

If you can't afford Essie nail polishes and you love this color, well I have a dupe that is very VERY close in color and formula. This dupe is Go Garnet by Sally Hansen in the Instra-Dri range (Wicked was 9$ and Go Garnet was 3,50$). It's so similar that it looks almost the same, the only difference I can see is that Wicked is more on the brown side and Go Garnet is more on the red side. But again it's extremely similar and work just as good.

Over all I do recommend this nail polish. It's beautiful, easy to apply and the wear time is amazing.
I will buy it again for sure!
