Mascara -Maybelline New York -The Colossal Big Shot Mascara

I don’t usually put reviews for mascara, but this one I am because it irritates my eyes so badly. If you have sensitive eyes, I would advise you not to risk it. I had a little swelling underneath one eye nesr the tear duct that slightly hurt when I blinked. I didn’t know what it was. I stopped wearing this mascara (simply because I had misplaced it), And had to use others, and the swelling disappeared.
Again I found it a week or so later, that day, swelling and pain. I removed everything around my eyes including contact lenses just to let my eyes rest. Next day my eyes seemed fine so I just put on a mac shadow, liquid liner and this mascara- yup by lunchtime I felt pain on my eye lower area (tear ducts and beneath). Same story yesterday. Today I am not wearing it and my eyes are fine. I have on MAC soft ochre, amber lights, bronze, and embark, and no issues. It was definitely the mascara.

It looks mediocre and lasting power is meh it looks a bit grey by a few hours so the pain is definitely not worth it, there are better mascaras for me.

Treatments (Face) -COSRX -Acne Pimple Master Patch

Amazing! These little life savers come in 3 different sizes and work like magic overnight! First time I used them I made the mistake of using a size slightly too small (they have to completely cover the pimple up to its outer circumference at the very least!) and disappointed the next morning as it hadn't seemed to work. Next time I used the medium size - which is what I seem to be going through the fastest and voila...the pimple was much smaller after 7 hours of applying the patch. I don't find them useful for cystic acne, those under the skin bumps that are sore to the touch, but for whiteheads these are unbeatable. As I have oily skin I'm more prone to whiteheads than I am to under the skin pimples. They usually pop up on my forehead or nose (my oiliest areas) and as tempted as I might be to pick at them up I nearly always go with the more sensible option and apply a dot of The Ordinary's Niacinamide 10% & Zinc 1% which does a really neat job at reducing them, however I find these patches are much more effective, overnight vs a couple of days with Ordinary. I honestly thought they would contain Salicylic Acid, Tea tree or some other acne fighting ingredient - as all acne products do, was very surprised to discover nothing whatsoever in here I'm used to seeing. Apparently it's the Cellulose Gum that draws up the impurities. Whatever the combination of unique ingredients are they sure work!
One thing to be aware of is using on consecutive nights, on the same pimple if it's not completely flattened. I tried doing that but it made my skin slightly sore and tender so I avoid doing that now. If there's still a need to use by day 3 (very rare) I don't find any problems doing that as my skin has had a 24 hour break and I can use another patch without issues, but on consecutive nights for me is a definite no-no!

I haven't used this too long, only about 2 weeks, but I am really happy with it so far. I use NC35, which is a pretty good color match for my skin, compared to almost every other concealer I've tried. It is very slightly too orange/beige (hard to describe), but it's very close, and it's not that noticeable.

So I don't use this under my eyes. I use it on acne marks - the ones I have are sort of a muted reddish purple color. I don't color correct first. My marks aren't super bad now, but I do have to say that for someone who has darker marks, or more fresh ones or a lot of active acne, it most likely wouldn't give enough coverage on its own. If I wanted my skin to look flawless this might not be enough coverage either - I have had to reapply later in the day for going out if I put it on in the morning, so it's not SUPER long lasting but I mean, that's kind of to be expected.

I apply by washing my hands and then using my fingers, and depending on if I took too much out of the pump (I'm still trying to figure out the pump) I'll blend with a brush. I am pretty happy with how natural the finish looks.

I will update this review in a couple of weeks when I will have a better idea of if my skin likes this or not.

Cleansers -Garnier -SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water

Review is for the pink cap! First and foremost, doesn't seem to break out my skin, which hates almost everything new. My skin is pretty sensitive, but I haven't experienced an allergic reaction to this product. I don't like that I usually need more than 2 cotton pads to take off my concealer, but it's alright. It just doesn't actually save time compared to the process of washing my face. Btw, I don't wear eye makeup very often, so I can't speak to how well it removes that, just concealer and sunscreen. Seems to take those off pretty well!

I started to use this without any other steps in my routine because I want to just be a lazy girl now, and my skin actually has no active pimples for the first time in what feels like forever....what gives? I'm thinking that me and all of the other people who had this response to Micellar water were actually using products that irritated our skin. I do rinse this off thoroughly, mostly because I'm always nervous that anything left on my skin will break me out, but I'm curious about how it would work left on because the water where I live is so hard.

I've only used it about a week - will update again after a month of use, and then again if anything else comes up.

I first got a Sephora of this and like it, so I got the same color Cashmere. This is a good match--not too yellow or white. it's thick and creamy but easy to blend with my fingers, though you do have to smooth it out and use only a tiny bit. My only worry is I have combo skin and I find the creaminess of this may clog my pores in the summer or cause breakouts. I don't find this drying at all--it feels slightly moist on my skin--maybe I should try a mattifying primer. The pump bottle is great.

Polishes -KOSE -Nail Holic Classic Color BE806

on 4/19/2019 12:17:00 PM

Overall, it has been a pretty good polish. This particular shade is a light pink that leans a bit peachy. While there is clearly shimmer in the bottle, it doesn't show much when it's actually applied, which was the only disappointing thing for me. It doesn't chip too quickly, usually 5-7 days before I see any noticeable chips. I've worn it up to two weeks before with just a couple small chips. I apply it with a base coat and a top coat. I use two coats of this polish. It can be a little streaky if you're not careful.

I don't think I'd buy this color again, but I'd like to try some other colors from the same brand.

Lip Gloss -Sephora Collection -Colorful Gloss Balm

I bought the "colorful gloss balm lip honeys" but based on my experience with the regular colorful gloss balm I think they're pretty similar. I bought the color "Blackberry," a slightly brown-toned plum, which seems like a close dupe of Clinique's Black Honey. The color is pretty, but the gloss is so-so. I don't find anything especially moisturizing about it, and it kind of just sits on your lips without sinking in. So it slides off incredibly easily; I don't think it lasts longer than 20 minutes on me, even without eating/drinking etc. So if you're looking for something moisturizing, or long-lasting, I don't think this product is it. It's just a quick, glossy pop of color for a decent price, but nothing special IMO.

Lip Gloss -REVLON -Colorstay Moisture Stain

Ditto a previous reviewer, jehale. I bought India Intrigue, which is a bright berry color. Perfect for my pigmented lips. A little goes a long way. I can't apply this like a lipgloss or it would be too thick and too hard to apply an even coat. I dot it on my lips and rub it in with a fingertip. If I want more coverage I apply a bit more. It lasts for hours and stays soft looking like a balm. The applicator isn't great. It's a little big and too much product is on it. But again, since I dot it on it's not a problem for me. And since I don't use much it will last a long time. I recently rediscovered it in my lip products and I love it. I wonder if I wasn't using it because I was applying it like a regular lip gloss and hated it. Well, I'm glad I rediscovered it and found a way to use it that works well.

Eye Shadow -MAC Cosmetics -Frost - Bronze

It exactly matches the tones in my eyelids so it looks almost as though I didn’t put anything on. “

It doesn’t do anything extraordinary for me personally, yet it is a good base shade to act as a backdrop with something like MAc Embark as liner or crease shade.

I rarely use it, just because on my very pigmented lids you can’t tell where it is,
so no, I would not personally repurchase but I can see the quality and colour is fantastic, so I put yes.

Mulch does do something for me simply because it is deeper or less warm, it actually shows up as definition. Whereas this is just...where is it? I can’t tell.

Even the finely milled sheen of it looks like my eyelids - eyelids aren’t powdery or matte, there’s a slight sheen to them naturally anyway.

This plus MAC saddle in crease- if you do this on me, with a 217 brush then for blending, so as to make it more hazy and scattered, it looks exactly like my eyelids. Not really better- eyelids.
