These hydrating sheet masks come in a packet of 30, so it's a good deal and very convenient -- you can mask as often as you like. This is supposed to be done in place of the lotion/essence step after cleansing. Even though they are all in the same pack without any dividers, it's easy to peel off one mask and open it. They are completely saturated with essence and the bag is resealable. I also put the whole packet into a ziplock bag for extra protection. I am 55 with dry skin, and these masks really hydrate my skin like crazy. I like to use a Daiso silicone mask over the sheet mask, which keeps the moisture from evaporating, letting you leave the mask on longer and also allowing you to move around without the mask falling off. My skin is super hydrated afterward. Love these masks!

The lovely TVARTDIVA suggested a fragrance for me to try as an answer to that craving for a clean step-out-of-the-shower scent. I took her advice and ordered a little mini size for 5 bucks so I could try it.I may be gaining a rep here as "the poor Avon girl" or whatever and I'm okay with that, but really it's more a case of "how much money do *I* feel responsibly able to spend on perfume" and also, I don't really want to *like* the mainstream fragrances and I love to find perfumes are easily accessible but maybe not worn so much in my area. There are actually of fair amount of Bentley driving Prada wearing folks here in my neck of the woods. So there's that. I'm a quirky one I guess! LOL. No I do not (yet) drive a Bentley. LOL.When I first sampled Tocadilly I thought, hmmm...scented tissues. Very generic. Nice but very generic.I also thought it might smell like Avon Summer White (discontinued) so I figured I'd do a side-by-side this morning.Summer White is one I rarely bother with unless I want the simplest of fragrances that are just clean period. Maybe once or twice a year and I will not mourn if it's ever gone.SW is more cucumbery in feel.Tocadilly won't appeal to a person if they are in the practice of wearing heavier scents applied liberally. I've gotten away from so much heavy wearing the last few years and maybe my senses are keener? I don't know!Tocadilly is very "pretty" in the nicest of ways. I can get that lilac connection. We do not have lilac bushes here in southern CA but I grew up with them in the heartland and my mother's lilacs were the first heralding of spring, divine fragrance like the jasmine is here. Also it isn't the lilac type thing that L'Aimant (which I own) has. This is more natural, no aldehydes. The base is sandalwood and it melds to skin nicely.I think Tocadilly has some nice depth to it if you are a fan of light lovely floral inspired fragrances. I'm not getting cucumber from it but that doesn't mean you won't. It isn't a replacement for Acqua di Gio original formulation either but it was a stretch to hope for that. This is a scent that is worth trying. This could sit alongside your summer lovlies in your perfume cabinet.Get a sample then decide. I use the same advice for fabrics as I do for fragrances SAMPLE SAMPLE SAMPLE. Take expert advice to heart, make informed decisions then you won't be trying to pawn things off later! LOL!THANK YOU TVARTDIVA!

I forgot I had this and just rediscovered it! I have olive skin with dark features and very pigmented lips, so nudes are tough. Belle du Jour is a sheer honey beige with a milky quality that is 100% neutral to my eye, but if I had to pick I’d say it is more warm than cool. The elegant formula is balmy and easy to apply, with nice slip. It’s sheer enough to not wash me out, and opaque enough to actually show up on my lips. It’s never patchy (!!!) (though it can emphasize flaws when my lips are dry), there’s no taste or smell, it’s not drying, and lasting power is medium, which is decent for a sheer. Reapplying is super easy, I just treat it like a tinted lip balm. There are a couple of caveats: I need blush and eye makeup to balance out the pale lip (but this is true for many nude shades) or I’ll look hella washed out. Also, it is truly BEIGE, so don’t expect it to give life to your complexion. Honestly it doesn’t do much except for lighten up your lips, but it is a perfect product for that function when you need it! The best best bestttt thing about this lipstick is that is requires absolutely minimal babysitting, which in and of itself is worth the $$$ to me.Sometimes I wear it with another more opaque nude as a base for longevity’s sake, but on its own is how I like it best—Belle du Jour, for some reason, doesn’t give me any issues with that discrepancy between lip and skin colors with pale shades. And it looks especially good when I’m slightly tan. I do recommend this lipstick. I haven’t found anything else exactly like it with the same quality

I have avoided trying this foundation forever, the color change thing was just too gimmicky for me and the foundation colors were way too few. Fast forward to now, since they have a Light/Medium color I picked it up. And I LOVE it. Beautiful color match (shake, shake, shake well or it will be too dark), natural finish, doesn't settle in lines too badly, lasts all day. The best part is it comes in a nice tiny flat tube that fits my purse and makeup bag!! I have older dry skin and this is crazy good stuff.PROSSmall slim tubeno heavy fragrancenatural finishlasts all daycan layer it, good coveragegreat color matchGood price point20 SPFCan buy it pretty much everywhereOK for dry older skinOK on yellow/olive skinCONSHaving to rub it on to get the color to appear. Just want it premixed whenit comes out of the tube.

I wish I was the marketing genius who came up with this. I got sucked in by the description - and it was too good to be true. I am not impressed with the product. It's basically a glorified washcloth made from leftover plush polyester blanket material with finished edges. Sure, it's soft with a nice nap, but it requires rubbing and wiping. It wasn't particularly effective for makeup removal in my experience - stubborn product stayed put and the rest just smeared, and it's hard to get into corners and crevices. Yes, I used it as instructed. And then there's all that residue transfer to the Makeup Eraser itself - it's unhygienic to reuse it and/or I have to spend time cleaning the thing that cleaned my face. Ain't got time for that, LOL!I have combination and aging skin, so all the tugging, rubbing, digging, and wiping is tough on my face. I suppose if I used cotton pads or wipes on a regular basis and my skin didn't mind, this would be fine. I'll take a good facial cleansing oil/balm over this mechanical makeup removal tool any day.

I don't know why I haven't just bought a new top coat, maybe out of laziness - but it's worse than almost any other top coat I've used, so it actually wastes time. As someone else pointed out, maybe they changed the formulation on this. This stuff sucks. It peels off and it makes my nail polish chip after like a day. Even if I just do a coat or two of clear it just peels off.

The 'Green Tea Seed' line are Korean brand Innisfrees most popular products and I got a few sachets of this as a GWP not so long ago. It has a typical 'standard' green tea perfume aroma, the kind you get in green tea scented candles and air fresheners. The surprise comes when you realize this is a clear gel consistency and far from a 'cream'. I'm very much baffled by the reviews online which describe this as a cream moisturizer. Is it possible it's been reformulated and I've been sent an older version? Who knows! Anyhows this gel consistency gives it a lightweight quality that doesn't leave you oily, my skin was matte for hours after applying, however it is very silicone-heavy, I could literally feel the slip the way you would with a hair serum...which for hair serums is fine depending upon your hair type, but for your face however....nope! I know only too well how my skin reacts to silicones! Used up my sachet (without incident) and decided to give away the remaining ones. Brand and product name aside, everything on the sachet is in Korean so be aware you will need to look up the directions etc for yourself if you get one of these. There's definitely better Korean skincare products out there imo. Selena x~ My HG list ~(As I've sampled 100s of skin, hair and m/u products over the last decade and a half, I thought it might be useful to share my top 10 must-have products, subject to change if and when I come across something more effective. OMG!!! Holy Grail!!! I have never used a product like this. I bought this because I am always working on keeping my melasma and sun damage spots down and I haven't tried tranexamic acid yet. But the first benefit I got was amazing hydration from the inside of my skin! I have the watery lotion, and I patted it into my skin and within 2 minutes of the first use my skin plumped up (no plumping products have ever actually plumped me before) and my skin looked and felt different. It suddenly went from dry and dehydrated to normal -- and with no oily feel, nothing on the surface. I topped it off with my regular products, but I only have to use the smallest amount of my serums/creams now. I've been using twice a day (at least) and after one week I feel like I've knocked at least 5 years off of my face. After 4 days I started to see a difference in my brown spots. I put it on the back of my hands too, and the brown spots there have faded as well. It's too early to tell how much lightening I will get, but I'll write back and edit after a few months. No wonder this stuff is such a hit in Asia. I am no obsessed with Hada Labo and can't wait to try other products. I've used the 3D sheet masks several times, and they are amazing!

I like the way cleansing oils work for me (effective and non-drying), and I want something I can keep in the shower - preferably with a pump dispenser. This cleansing oil works well for me. I thoroughly massage it with dry hands onto my dry face, and when I rinse with water everything (BB/TM, mascara, lip stains) comes off. It has a nice scent to it as well - nice but not really necessary. Works nicely, just not my favorite.
