OPI
OPI began as a dental supply company which was purchased by George Schaeffer in 1981. After partnering with Suzi Weiss-Fischmann and R. Eric Montgomery (Artistic Director and Biochemist, respectively) they created an acrylic color system and began selling to nail salons individually. In 1989 they expanded to nail laquers and other products, and in 2010 OPI was aquired by Coty Inc. They are currently headquartered in North Hollywood, CA.

How Does Your Zen Garden Grow? was released as part of OPI’s 2019 Tokyo collection. It is a pale green colour, quite warm toned and yellow based, like a pastel lime shade. The formula was ok, it was easy to work with but it was streaky and took 3 layers to become fully even and opaque. The colour is a nice summery shade and emphasises a tan. I love "Reykjavik Has all the Hot Spots"! It is a beautiful unique pink color and is great when you want to wear an understated nail color. Would highly recommend!
