Shampoo -TRESemmé -Perfectly (Un) Done

Tried this because it doesn't have silicones. Used it a few times. Left my hair dry and brittle...the worst.

Styling Products -TRESemmé -Micro Mist Smooth hold Level 2 Hairspray

on 10/7/2018 8:29:00 AM

First of all, let me say I'm no stranger to hairspray. This is by far the worst hair spray I've ever used. It seems as if nothing is coming out of the can, just air and an oily product with extremely noxious chemicals. The "micro" mist is so light that it easily went into my airways. I was coughing and had a scratchy throat most of the day until I washed it out of my hair. This can't be healthy! I can't imagine what it would do to a person with a breathing condition. I threw this out after one use.... I would definitely not recommend this.
I gave it a "1" for good value, because even though it's not expensive I feel it's an extremely unhealthy product. I'll go back to my tried and true Paul Mitchell non-aerosol.

It's important that I write this. In doing my hair/makeup today I took out my lighted makeup mirror. Instantly I noticed the mirror was very badly coated in a film. I clean the mirror on a regular basis (not everyday) but I had never seen anything like this. I can only think it was a heavy film from the Micro Mist spray. It took several good cleanings with Windex until the mirror was clear. I'm also cleaning everything in the room where I used it.
When I used it yesterday I didn't spray the mirror, I sprayed my hair! If it did this to the mirror what is it doing to the bronchial tubes, lungs? What kind of quality control did they use?
I'm writing the Tresemme company about the situation. I have no grudge against Tresemme, but they should know about it. Please, people, don't use this!

Baby's first cowash! This is dirt cheap and widely available which makes it perfect for trying out the silicone free Curly Girl method. I've been silicone free for a few months now and have tried out a few different cowashes but I keep coming back to this. It's very very light when it comes to moisturizing so don't rely on it for that -- you'll 100% need a leave-in and probably gel too -- but I really love how well it cleans my scalp and roots. As long as I've got a tub of this in my shower, I don't get any product buildup, which is more than I can say for any of the other cowashes I've tried. Solid B+ conditioner at a D- price.

Hair Treatments -TRESemmé -Keratin Smooth Keratin Infusing Serum

This is a very lightweight serum. I love that it doesn't weigh down my thick hair or make it greasy. It just gives it a great shine and helps tame the frizz.

Shampoo -TRESemmé -24 Hour Body Shampoo

on 9/24/2018 4:12:00 PM

Very IMPRESSED! I recently decided to give Tresemme a try on my very long, dry, fine hair that tangles easily. I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with the 24 Hour Body Healthy Volume line. In the past I’ve avoided Tresemme products due to their fragrance. I used both the 24 Hour Body Shampoo and Conditioner and loved them. The shampoo was amazing and left my hair clean and bouncy. The conditioner didn’t weigh my hair down and had a light fragrance. Overall for $4 each these are my new go to hair products.
