Self Tanners -St.Tropez -Bronzing Mousse

Love this stuff. Its the only self-tanner I've found that leaves me a natural brown...not a hint of orange, and makes even my pasty white legs look realistically tan. I have vitiligo...so much that I can't possibly avoid them. Usually they turn a vivid orange with a self-tanner, but this actually makes them blend in with the rest of my skin. You can still see them of course, but they are just a lighter shade of brown which I love. Color develops over the first 24 hours, lasts a full week even showering daily, and wears off evenly without patches. The scent is slightly self-tannerish, not as terrible as some but the scent last all day that first day. It is a drier mousse texture so some things that are a must when using this...
-use exfoliating gloves before application.
-put a light lotion on bony parts like ankles, elbows, collar bones, and feet
-use the mitt for application. I was completely unsuccessful using this without the mitt...ended up a streaky mess. The mitt ensures a seamless, streak-free application. Rub and rub and rub. Once application is complete I go over my entire body lightly again with the mitt, like a light sanding to make sure its streak-free.
-apply to one body part at a time...thoroughly and completely. Really take your time to smooth it on.
-allow to dry a full half hour. I use my blow dryer to go over everything to make sure its super dry before getting dressed. The only thing the color rubs off on is my bra and only the first day, so I wear a black one day 1. After that there's no transfer. I don't use lotion either until after my next shower.
Overall the application process is a pain, but the results are awesome.

Comparable to the bondi sands fake tanner, more accessible as I can buy this at the drugstore. Absolutely love the green based tan it complements my olive skin tone. Looks natural and not to smelly. Takes about 30 mins to dry and it’s not streaky if applied with a tanning mitt. Love this tan!!! My go-to when I’m feeling like looking less pale.

I'm surprised that this product is unpopular!

Unfortunately working in an office five days a week doesn't offer much leeway to get sun exposure so I've turned pretty fair. I'm not a fan of fake tanning having turned too orange after a bad experiences, but I had an event coming up and needed something to give me a bit of colour without too much fuss.

A friend recommended this to me after hearing my woes and advised to use the 'Medium-Dark' version of it, and it's perfect. I like how you use it after a shower and basically 'marinade' for three minutes to let the colour sink in, before washing off.

By the end of the week, my skin tone looked completely natural. No sign of orange smears anywhere. Be sure to rub into your joints and knuckles that way it doesn't come out too patchy!

Pros
- Easy to use
- Good colour payoff
- Smell isn't overbearing
- No stains anywhere!

Cons
- Could work better with a pump packaging
- Pricey if you used this regularly
- Does come off if jewelry such as watches & rings rub against your skin for too long

Bronzers -St.Tropez -Self Tan Bronzing Mousse

This is my HG Self-Tan. I am NC20 and find this gives a natural looking tan. This wears off beautifully with no patches and doesn't dry my skin out. I was recommended this product by several people but thought I would find it difficult to work with as it is a mousse. It's basically fool-proof but I do have to work quite quickly with it. I apply this using the St Tropez tanning mitt in circular motions. Once I have rinsed it off in the morning, I am left with an even looking and natural tan. I highly recommend this product

Self Tanners -St.Tropez -Tanning Essentials Gradual Tan Everyday Tinted Body Lotion

I finally found my HG self tanner!! I am a very very pale person, generally I'm the lightest shade in every foundation. Most self tanners look way too dark and unnatural and I have to cut it with moisturizer, but not this! It dries super quickly, doesn't have a strong self tan smell though it is still present, and best of all I can put this on in the morning and literally an hour later I have a nice natural looking glow that doesn't scream "self tan". Because it is a subtle tan I'm not sure how well this would work on medium-dark skin tones though. I mainly use this for my face, but in the summer when I do full body I do find I have to use quite a lot of product and I need to be careful about how I hold the bottle because it does come out fast and can easily end up all over the floor. And with all St Tropez products the mitt is necessary because good luck scrubbing this off your palms.
