Self Tanners -St.Tropez -In-Shower Gradual Tan

Did absolutely nothing to my skin not even a tint. I used it three times and brought it back. I'm very familiar with tanning products as well, as I'm very pale. Did everything it said to do, even tried soaking in a bath tub in hopes it will settle into my skin better but nothing. My mom tried this as well and nothing happened for her. Very dissapointed!!

Self Tanners -St.Tropez -Luminous Veil Face Cream

on 1/30/2018 11:07:00 AM

I wanted to love the St Tropez Luminous Veil Self Tanning Lotion. Unfortunately, I found it to be all fragrance and very little tan. This is marketed as a face self tanning cream that can be used before makeup. This does little to prime face or leave it ready for makeup application. Furthermore, this lotion is so gradual that after seven days of use I saw little to no tan at all. And the fragrance is so high it does not dissipate quickly. A definite pass in my opinion. There are so many other face tanners that are fragrance free and contain beneficial ingredients that this is a miss. My more detailed review can be seen here:

Self Tanners -St.Tropez -Self Tan Dark Bronzing Mousse

on 1/23/2018 11:52:00 AM

I have been using this product for the last 2 years and it's still my absolute favourite. I use self-tanner religiously because I'm naturally very fair and I just find that a tan suits me so much better.
St. Tropez dark gives me such a perfect, natural looking tan (which is tough when you're super pale), that lasts well and fades naturally & not patchy like many other tanners. I also find that this mousse is very forgiving; it is extremely easy to blend, and the dark guide colour makes it pretty much impossible to miss a spot.
I always exfoliate before I use it and moisturize my hands, elbows, and feet; when following their steps I've never had any issues. I've tried many other self-tanners and they've either come up short, or led to an orange, streaky disaster.

An important thing to be careful of is that this product will definitely transfer slightly and tint your clothes when its developing, I put it on at night time and just make sure to put a towel on my pillow and wear loose dark pyjamas. I have made the mistake of wearing like clothes after initial application and my clothes looked like they'd been soaked in mud in the morning, but it came right out when I washed them.
Just a side note, I'm also not that big of a fan of St.Tropez's tanning mitt because I feel like it absorbs too much product, personally I love the Vita-Liberata mitt (even though I really dislike their self tanner) because its smoothes out the tan so easily over the skin and doesn't soak it all up.

Self Tanners -St.Tropez -Bronzing Mousse

Love this stuff. Its the only self-tanner I've found that leaves me a natural brown...not a hint of orange, and makes even my pasty white legs look realistically tan. I have much that I can't possibly avoid them. Usually they turn a vivid orange with a self-tanner, but this actually makes them blend in with the rest of my skin. You can still see them of course, but they are just a lighter shade of brown which I love. Color develops over the first 24 hours, lasts a full week even showering daily, and wears off evenly without patches. The scent is slightly self-tannerish, not as terrible as some but the scent last all day that first day. It is a drier mousse texture so some things that are a must when using this...
-use exfoliating gloves before application.
-put a light lotion on bony parts like ankles, elbows, collar bones, and feet
-use the mitt for application. I was completely unsuccessful using this without the mitt...ended up a streaky mess. The mitt ensures a seamless, streak-free application. Rub and rub and rub. Once application is complete I go over my entire body lightly again with the mitt, like a light sanding to make sure its streak-free.
-apply to one body part at a time...thoroughly and completely. Really take your time to smooth it on.
-allow to dry a full half hour. I use my blow dryer to go over everything to make sure its super dry before getting dressed. The only thing the color rubs off on is my bra and only the first day, so I wear a black one day 1. After that there's no transfer. I don't use lotion either until after my next shower.
Overall the application process is a pain, but the results are awesome.

Bronzers -St.Tropez -Self Tan Bronzing Mousse

This is my HG Self-Tan. I am NC20 and find this gives a natural looking tan. This wears off beautifully with no patches and doesn't dry my skin out. I was recommended this product by several people but thought I would find it difficult to work with as it is a mousse. It's basically fool-proof but I do have to work quite quickly with it. I apply this using the St Tropez tanning mitt in circular motions. Once I have rinsed it off in the morning, I am left with an even looking and natural tan. I highly recommend this product
