I'm someone with fair skin that takes some effort to tan. I felt like the amount of work it took for me to get a natural tan was causing so much damage in the process so I decided to start faking it. I went ahead and bought the big bottle, since it was double the product for only $12 more. At $54 CAN, the mousse is a little pricey but I figure a single salon spray tan costs $25-50 and with this product, you can get multiple applications for around the price of one spray tan. The packaging looks clean and sleek. The pump is nice because you can choose how much or little product to dispense. Application was easy, even for someone like me who didn't have a lot of experience. The color guard in this product allows you to see exactly where you have applied and notice any steaks that might need more blending. Even if you're in a hurry, or haven't exfoliated as much as you should have, I have found this tan to be very forgiving. It dries quickly and doesn't look unnatural so you can wear it out for the day while it develops. There's only been a few occasions where I've noticed streaks and those were my own doing and not a result of the product itself. Even then, they were very minor. It hasn't caused any issues with my sensitive skin either, which is a bonus.I've found the product can be stretched to about a week before needing to be reapplied and it fades very evenly and naturally. I also haven't noticed any gross self-tanner smell with this product, like I have with Jergens and Hawaiian Tropic. I actually find the smell to be pleasant and I kid you not, someone once complimented the smell of this product when I wore it out. This product looks like a natural, golden tan. Since using this, I've had colleagues, relatives and friends compliment my tan. They were shocked when they found out it came from a bottle. I really don't have a complaint about this product. It gives you a warm, golden tan that looks 100% natural. It lasts a decent amount of time and it's hard to mess up. I have bought this product twice now and when my current bottle runs out, I'm sure I'll buy another (a bottle lasts me about 2 months with 1-2 applications a week). In my opinion, this product is worth the hype and the money.

I am fair skinned naturally. On top of that, I have sensitive skin that occasionally can become dehydrated, flaky, and dull. I've used many facial tanners on the market and until happening upon St Tropez luxe dry facial oil, I was using Jergens gradual tan facial lotion in Fair To Medium. This stuff takes the cake for me! I mix a few drops in with my Cera Ve (in the tub) and apply it to freshly cleaned and toned skin. Within a few hours, I am glowing! If I want to make it last. I'll apply it 3x's a week in the same fashion (mixing with lotion). I get many compliments on my complexion.

First, I’m asian and I’m pale. I have used self tanners from Clarins Avene Sephora and this brand. And I can say the best are Sephora Mist and this product. In my opinion, among these 2, I vote Sephora as the best because it gives me a darker tan than St Tropez and it also lasts longer (for abt 1 week), which is what I look for in a self tanner. This St Tropez product has great smell, leaves absolutely no streaks, and that’s it. After u take the first shower, most of the tan will b washed off and u lr left w a very light tan. In fact, I tried to apply on 2 days on a row but the tan looks still the same, very very light. A nice product but doesn’t meet what I expect compared to the price I pay.

This self-tanner is so natural looking, you'll never look orange. It's easy to apply (with a mitt!), dries quickly, and doesn't bleed onto clothes or sheets. It looks green and dirty when you apply it to your skin, but it absorbs overnight into a nice, dark glow. The only issue I have is the application to hands and feet. It should be done last with residual mousse left on the mitt and rinsed off. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. I've repurchased it twice. It's much better than the Original (too light) and Express (not always natural looking).

I used this for a week. Everyone in Ulta recommended this over other products. St. Tropez is supposedly a big name in self tanners. Well, nothing to write home about. My skin color didn’t not change with daily use. The product is greasy on application and can transfer. It feels greasy too. I doubt anyone can apply their makeup over this oily surface. I got a pimple after 8 years of not having any breakouts. So overall, my $8 L’Oreal Sublime does a better job. Even Clinique has a better product than this. No, thank you!
