This is my FAVORITE! I smelled this on someone I work with and lost my mind. I got a bottle and put some in an atomizer so I can wear this wherever I go. It is a rich, sexy floral. Husband also loves it. Can't stop smelling myself! Stays TRUE to itself all day and LASTS!!!

This soap is the most luxurious soap I've ever used in my life. The smell is heavenly and it leaves my skin silky to the touch.

I've followed this site for many years but this is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review. I'll just start by saying that I have troublesome hair - thick, wavy (but not nicely curly) and generally unmanageable. There are very few products that can make a difference to my hair. I have tried everything. But I discovered this cream during a trip to Florence Italy - my hair was feeling gross and saw-like and I brought it as an impulse purchase with my mother during a visit to the antique pharmacy which is the headquarters of the brand. I brought it mostly out of novelty value rather than seriously expecting this ancient monk's receive to help my hair. But the results are amazing! It has softened and added shine to my hair like nothing else I've ever tried. This is probably the only hair product that I've found that is really a true treatment masque for my hair - even I cannot use this every day but it is fantastic once a week, in times of dire dryness, or after swimming etc. Those with normal/oily hair will probably not be able to use this. Also I'd add that the honey can have a slight lightening effect on dyed blond hair - this is nothing dramatic, but I do have the impression that my highlights are a bit lighter/cleaner after using this.

I've heard you shouldn't use rosewater on your face but I don't think that's true lol (at least not for me). I use this as a very moisturising toner but it gets rid of cleanser well too (I like using it after I use sunscreen or before re-applying sunscreen). It's cheaper in Europe than in the US so if you're travelling, I really recommend stopping by Santa Maria Novella shops bc the price differences are pretty big. This is definitely one of their best products. For me what makes this product my fav. toner is not only the effectiveness but the fragrance itself is very soothing and fresh--it smells like freshly-cut roses which is rare in skincare (technically this product isn't strictly skincare however--apparently the scent is helpful with migraines). It's a very sophisticated rose and lasts a while--sometimes I put a cotton pad doused in it next to my bed bc I really love the scent. If you're wondering about the effect of fragrance on skin, for me (and I have very sensitive skin), I've never had a problem using this toner and my skin became significantly better after I started using it.
