New HG moisturizer! I love this so much and I wasn't expecting that anything so light could be so hydrating. It is fragrance-free, doesn't clog my pores and it is cheap to boot. I have tried to layer it under a heavier moisturizer, thinking that it wasn't occlusive enough to hold in moisture, but this is not the case at all for me. Maybe because where I live is not that cold, so I can't speak for using this in colder, drier places. I am using this as my daytime moisturizer and I am really, really happy with it. I cannot help feeling surprised every time I layer this light gel at how much moisture my skin gets from it. This product reminds me of a sleeping mask from Etude House, which I love, called ToMaru Tofu Sleeping Mask. However, this SANA cream is way better at offering hydration. They have also introduced a retinol version of this, but as I am on Tretinoin, I will continue using this version.

As the weather is getting cooler and drier, I switched up my skincare and re-introduced a cream cleanser in my routine. Since I hadn`t finished the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser I bought last year, I brought it back into rotation. Truth be told, I HATE that cleanser: it burns like nothing else, but since it is still pretty warm in Japan, I thought, all right, let me just finish it up quickly before winter kicks in, because I am a cheap skate and don`t like throwing money down the drain. I don`t know what happened, but this time the CeraVe cleanser didn`t just sting, it was outright peeling and irritating the crap out of my skin, so much so, that my cheeks had turned bright red and were dry and flakey. I stopped immediately and switched to the Sana cleanser. Everything else in my routine stayed the same, except the cleanser. In 3 days, my cheeks had returned to normal and the irritation and burning were gone. Oddly enough, I was skeptical at first, because the Sana is a foaming cleanser, so technically it should be harsher than the CeraVe, but for me it is soothing and as a second step cleanser after oil, it is just right. I would repurchase, but next I think I will try the HadaLabo cleansers as well.

I love how nourishing SANA Soy Milk Cream is and how it was able to heal my dry and flaky skin quickly. Below is a list of its pros and cons based on my experience: What's Great? 1. A Rich Cream That’s Doesn’t Overwhelm The Skin 2. Deep & Lasting Moisture 3. Free Of Undesired Ingredients 4. An Affordable Moisturizer 5. No-Frill & Bulk-Free Packaging What's Bad? 1. May trigger breakout You can read full review and product recommendation at http://bit.ly/2o5cVGT. Hope this would help someone in her Japan beauty purchase.
