Inner Glow Cream Blush - Desire

After considerable deliberation(reading reviews and looking at swatches)I grabbed this and am very happy. I have a light complexion with a lot of yellow and colors from the blue-red spectrum make for an interesting and very pretty break from my usual pink/coral/brown tones. I am a cream rouge person, always have been, I do think this looks best when I use a light wash of Chanel's Blanc de Chine on my face. I no longer wear foundation, it just does not look good at my age(66), but I do use a variety of concealers which is an essential step before I go out my door, hell before I answer the phone because I look awake and refreshed as opposed to...well dreary. This is a true mauve. I like the size of the compact because there is a broad round surface area that I can swirl my fingers in and pick-up just the right amount of color, the formula is not creamy as is the usual case with cream rouge, this seems to be a hybrid of wax/cream/gel which I like because I never seem to grab too much color at one time. The $29 price tag might seem intimidating but the color is so lovely and the formula unique that I think it's money well spent. As a previous reviewer noted this is well pigmented and lasted on me for about 4-5 hours which is not atypical for me as I absorb color. I did wear a powder blush on top to set it and I am a blush person(I look sickly without rouge/blush on my face)but I think I will skip the powder blush on the next go-round

There are a 3 reviews here for individual colors of this creme blush. My review is for the product regardless of which color. Extraordinary easy-to-blend fresh formula and wonderful, attractive packaging. Thrilled to have uncovered these gems as I looked for a new creme blush. Must try for creme blush fans!! (I started with “Rapture” which is a gorgeous pink reminiscent of Bobbi Brown Pale Pink)

Love, Love, Love. This shade is such a lovely bloody red that really looks like a classic snow-white effect. It’s too dry for the lips, I don’t like any of their lip products personally, so I don’t get the desired dual use out of this sadly. It’s a Credo Exclusive. It’s so dark in the compact but it’s very easy to work with, just like all their shades, where you can blend it down as needed. The compact is lovely and I'm so glad it's nothing like Nars where it's the rubberized finish. Its just a nice, glossy decorated compact. Nice to do makeup on the go with as well. This doesn’t pull too raspberry on me which is usually a problem in red tones for me. I hate when red shades pull purple on me because of their base. This one just stays a lovely flushed red. In the world of natural blushes these probably lead as the best in longevity compared to the likes of Kjaer Weiss and RMS. Though not as cosmetically elegant as Kjaer Weiss, these have a lovely matte finish you don’t find too often amongst the natural scene.
