Top/Base Coats -Revlon -quick dry base coat

on 6/20/2018 2:04:00 AM

My HG base coat. I tried Orly Bonder, CND Stickey, and Gelous (which all let me down) before I landed on this one. It is PERFECT!

It dries fast like the name says, it's not tinted like some other base coats are (I don't know why they do that), it prevents staining and prolongs the life of my mani, and it only costs a few dollars.

It's the best I've tried, I love it, and I will absolutely continue to buy this. Highly Recommended!! A++++++

Liquid -Revlon -ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 for Combination/Oily Skin

I wanted to leave this review to help anyone who suffers from acne in deciding to use this foundation or not. My skin type is combination but tends to be more dry when I use foundation even though I moisturize so my skin tends toward the dry side. I had also tried the combination version of this makeup but found it to be drying. I tend to get acne on my chin area as well as forehead but this foundation made my acne worse and my skin developed clogged pores all over.

This foundation was amazing for the first month or so I used it and it did not make my skin oily but it also did not dry out my skin. If you are not acne prone and are looking for a good foundation for dry skin I do recommend this but would also say to moisturize and use a primer beforehand. It does stay on extremely well and blends well. I also found the color to be perfect. It feels good as far as moisture is concerned.

Although it does give good coverage and looks good after awhile it made my skin break out terribly and develop cystic acne on my chin. I know it was this product because I did not change anything else and also once I stopped using it it did get somewhat better.
If you have dry skin but are acne prone I would not recommend this because it will cause pores to clog and acne to form. I think it partially is because of its long lasting power but overall I do not recommend this for anyone slightly prone to acne.

Lipstick -Revlon -Super Lustrous Goldpearl Plum

on 6/16/2018 4:46:00 AM

A little gem! But you have to like pearl/frost ls. This is such a classy, summer, oomph lippie to me. It’s a plum but not a creepy plum (as plums can lean matronly). It’s got enough subtle red in it to make it pop. It’s by no means a red. Another complicated pearl ls from Revlon. On me this is a dupe for Tom Fords Snowden. It is frosted though. Leaning more to a warm gold frost and not a silver frost. I’m just a sucker for frost lippies. More dementional, less flat. I love it. I’ll keep buying it as long as they make it. ❣️❣️

Polishes -Revlon -Cherries in the Snow

Sooooo...these reviews confuse me. This is a gorgeous shade, super flattering on me, classic yet still unique. But like...removing this polish was a bloodbath. It stained my nails, my skin, my life. I looked like I had been making borscht for a week. And I know how to take off polish! Been doing it my whole life! It took forever to go away. My bottle is recent, and seems fresh. A mystery. I'll never go through that again. Other than that, loved it. Lol.
