I agree with the other reviewer: This polish is much prettier in the bottle. The iridescent pink shimmer doesn't show up as much on the nail. The base color is okay, but I have aquas and turquoises I like better in my polish collection. I applies nice and smoothly, but I need three coats to get the color nearly opaque. It resists chips pretty well, but it looks like I'll be selling my unopened bottles of this color.

Ah, Oui has a creme jelly finish. The color is similar to a periwinkle leaning more towards a dusty baby blue/lavender. I applied three semi-thin coats to achieve the opacity shown in the photo. The photo is taken in natural lighting, however, it appears paler in person. FORMULATION The finish of Rescue Beauty Lounge cremes are wonderful because some polishes are almost self-leveling. Ah, Oui is the exception. I did notice that after a few strokes on the nail, the polish begins to clump and settle where it is placed. To avoid this, you must load the brush with more polish than usual leaving the polish a bit thicker than my personal preference. DURABILITY The wear on natural nails was about 3 days before any chipping occurred. The second time I wore this shade, I did a "gelly" sandwich (wearing a gel base and top coat worn with regular non-gel polish between) and it lasted a full 3 weeks with minimal shrinkage (when the polish begins to shrink towards the cuticle leaving the edge of the nail slightly visible). OVERALL Because this color is unique to my collection, I absolutely love it. Even though it is a bit tricky to work with, which is the reasons why I took off 2 lippies because of the clumping during application. However, it wears wonderful as a gelly sandwich. For the price ($20 USD), I expected a smoother quality formulation. The brush is a little thinner and longer than I'd like. I do prefer a brush that fans out to cover more nail surface in one swipe, which is probably why it causes more clumping. Overall, I do enjoy the color more than the application and formulation, which is why I would not repurchase.

This is a cool-based gray crème, no discernible hint of beige, brown, or blue. I’d had this polish a long time before trying it and I wish I hadn’t waited so long. It’s an extremely flattering color. My husband, who normally doesn’t care about nails, let alone my polish choice, loved this color. He found it a very sassy and sexy color, which is so surprising for gray. The first coat was disappointingly sheer, but the second coat made the color opaque. The tips wore down after one day but the rest of the polish held up well for two and half days. I would buy this color again.
