Lightweight, fluid, non-greasy: great! Price was reasonable ($18.99 regular price at Shoppers Drug Mart; $12.99 when it's on sale), but ... The multitude of BUMPS which developed on my forehead and temples within two days of applying the product: GROSS! Not red, inflamed zits or whiteheads, but a multitude/clusters of tiny, bumpy PIMPLES! (If one were blind, a person might have confused my forehead for Braille! My forehead would have read, "Don't buy this product again!") I should have returned the product to the store, siting irritation/reaction, sending a message to L'Oréal (Ombrelle's parent company) that their product was a "fail", but I forgot and now have 3/4 of a bottle of sunscreen which is beyond its due date for effectiveness. What a waste of money!

This is a 2019 formula review: FLAWLESS. I have very dry skin and I also live in an arid climate. I am prone to cysts and rosacea. None of these conditions is triggered by this formula. Sheer, spreads easily, absorbs instantly. Soft and stretchy comfort. It is extremely moisturizing, but also extremely light. It is truly effective for hours against the harsh sun. Not a new freckle or melasma spot since I’ve been using it. L’Oreal’s old formulas were heavy and greasy, but no longer. Perfection! There is a *tiny* hint of white cast that is imperceptible to others. That suits me as I have medium to fair skin and the coverage seems to slightly even out my skin tone. I want my sunscreen to be occlusive and effective so I am happy I can see the faint white cast, frankly! I usually layer some CeraVe or Cetaphil lotion over this for extra moisture but on the rare mornings I forget, this little gem attracts moisture very well on its own. No streaking or running into my eyes either, which is usually a huge problem. The bottle lasts forever. This is as close to an HG as it gets for me. I will continue to purchase, always!

Edited February 28 2020: This product has been discontinued. I will try the SPF 60 from the same range next time. The SPF 45 is no longer available in store. --- I was looking for a sunscreen to use around my eyes since the one I use for my face is a chemical one that stings my eyes. I tried some mineral sunscreens since they do not sting the eyes, however they were drying my skin out. I have never liked mineral sunscreen because of that side effect for my skin. This sunscreen however is perfect for around the eyes. It contains no drying alcohol, no fragrance or irritating ingredients. Plus it has a high UVA protection. I actually bought it for all over my face, but it was way too shiny, sticky and tacky. However around the eyes it works well for me, there is no stinging, burning or making my eyes watery/teary or dried out throughout the day. But it does make my eye area look more shiny than the rest of my face but still "ok" since it's a small area only. Will repurchase just for around my eye area until I can find a better sunscreen that can be used for my face AND eyes, because this is expensive for just the eye area, 17.99 CAD for 75 ml. Ingredients - Est PPD 15-20: Active Ingredients: Octocrylene 5%, Drometrizole Trisiloxane (Mexoryl XL) 4%, Titanium Dioxide 3.3%, Avobenzone (Parsol 1789) 3%, Terephthalylidene Dicamphor Sulfonic Acid (Mexoryl SX) 1.5% Other Ingredients: Aqua/Water, Cycolpentasiloxane, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Propylene Glycol, Panthenol, PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, Aluminum Hydroxide, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylparaben, Carbomer, Tocopherol, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA
