Sunscreen -Neutrogena -Hydro Boost water gel lotion spf 50

on 4/23/2018 9:44:00 PM

I love this sunscreen, with one caveat: do not get in your eyes! This is a really nice hydrating gel lotion that smells good and leaves a lovely, glowy finish with no white cast. Price is super reasonable and it has not caused any breakouts. However it stings like crazy if it migrates into eyes. I am talking unbearable, with runny eyes and nose and general suffering until you can wash it off! I am a huge fan of Neutrogena products because they never cause breakouts for me, but I have noticed this about a few of their products over the years.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena -Hydro Boost Water Gel

I did not like this cream. It has too much fragance, and it doesn't feel hydrating or moisturizing at all.
Wouldn't purchase again. I won't even use it.

Cleansers -Neutrogena -All-In-One Makeup Removing Cleansing Wipes

on 4/22/2018 2:34:00 PM

Product is great but the blue box packaging is garbage as the lid won't stay shut. I either store it upside down so the lid won't open or have to put a jar on top to keep it close. I bought it because I wanted a cute box that would store my wipes (which i love and is great at removing my makeup).....

You are better off just buying the bag of wipes and store it in a big ziplock bag or find/buy your own little box that actually shuts tight because this one is useless.

I would buy the wipes again but not the one that comes in the blue plastic box but just the wipes themselves.

Sunscreen -Neutrogena -Sensitive Skin Sunblock Lotion SPF 60

My daily ‘make up’ is Clinique SuperCity Block tinted SPF 40. I love it and would never part with it.
But, I don’t wear it every single day. I wear it when I want some coverage and want to look more made up. For things like walking the dog, hanging in the yard, holidays to sunny places where I’ll be doing a lot of walking or beach-going, etc, I like to have a cheaper sunscreen to use. This Neutrogena is only $9.

I am 38, with normal to dry skin that can get irritated by some things. I’ve tried so many sun screens 😐 I’m American living in Europe so I have tried European formulations also.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Neutrogena physical sun screen. I imagine they’ve changed the formula, based on previous reviews. The product is just like a lotion, it is easy to spread and unscented. I apply it over moisturizer, since mineral sun screens can be drying. But this one isn’t terrible! After a few hours my skin isn’t feeling thirsty and tight. It leaves just a minimal white cast that can easily be patted away. Sometimes I mix in a few drops of my Even Better liquid foundation and it takes away the slight white cast totally. It washes away easily. This is my go-to yardwork-park-dog walking-hiking-bbqing SPF. No irritation, no stinging, no sunburn, no smell, good price. We are going to the Amalfi coast for a few weeks and this is the SPF I’ve packed, leaving behind Avene, Sun Bum, Clinique (yellow tube), Garnier European formula, LRP anthelios and god knows how many others I have.

Shampoo -Neutrogena -Anti-Residue Shampoo

I have long hair which is dry, fine, thinning and naturally curly. Needless to say it is a challenge when it comes to products and styling. My Mom recommended this shampoo to me and I am really pleased with it. Since my hair is fine, it is really flat at the roots, so I was looking for a shampoo that would help give my hair a bit more volume, and this definitely did that. I was initially reluctant about using a clarifying shampoo thinking it may strip my hair of moisture and leave it looking fried. This shampoo does the opposite. After I use this, my hair is silky and shiny. It looks very healthy and it is so easy to style after (blow drying straight and then curling the ends with a heat styler). I even love the smell which is just pleasantly clean as opposed to many hair products on the market today which are overly perfumed with floral and sweet chemical notes.
