Cleansers -MD Forte -Facial Cleanser II [DISCONTINUED]

on 1/1/2017 4:19:00 PM

FYI: brand has been rebranded as VIVITE and is only available through dermatologists. I guess the glycolic acid percentage content was too high to be bought without prescription. But I have seen it on amazon, so not sure if it is the real products. This is the info I've received from multiple dermos who were familiar with MD Forte.

Cleansers -MD Forte -Facial Cleanser III [DISCONTINUED]

on 12/19/2016 6:46:00 PM

It's too bad that this brand has been discontinued as I really enjoyed using this glycolic cleanser. It is creamy in texture and leaves my skin feeling clean but moist. It packs quite a punch with a whopping 30% glycolic acid and it often tingles upon application. I leave it on for a few seconds before rinsing. It has helped greatly with my uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation. I'm on the look out for dupes/alternatives.

Skincare - Face -MD Forte -Facial Lotion II

on 1/17/2014 10:54:00 AM

I have been using this product for about 3 months now, after using the Facial Lotion 1 for almost 9 months. My skin is oily-combination, red, and sensitive, and I have old acne scars. This product doesn't aggravate my skin at all, just a slight tingling. I put it on at night, not during the day. It does leave me a little dry if I use it by itself, but usually I put a moisturizer on over it. When I shower the next morning, my face is so smooth. As for the acne scars, I have seen only a slight reduction in those. I saw more of a drastic difference in my skin with the Facial Lotion 1, but still my skin looks better than it has in a long time. I have had some breakouts with this, but not enough to outweigh its obvious benefits. I will definitely repurchase or move on to the number 3 lotion.

Skincare - Face -MD Forte -Replenish Hydrating Cream

on 8/14/2013 11:35:00 PM

I used this several times over the few years I had it.Dfoes not hydrate, does not hold in moisture, broke me out almost the whole time I ever wore.It seems that it works at first but it dries and makes wrinkles show up.Don't put under makeup its awful it will seperate your makeup.Does not smooth out any lines on your face. And after trying this for years I have experience with this product.I will not ever repurchase again.I have eczema it does not work for that just irritates it. (I highly recommend CETAPHIL DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF) Read my review for that product.

Treatments (Eye) -MD Forte -skin rejuvenation eye cream [DISCONTINUED]

on 7/4/2013 9:09:00 AM

The first few times I used this, I got the odd red spot under one eye. So I stopped using it every night, and scaled back to every second night. I do have fine expression lines, but I mainly use this for milia as it has several good exfoliating ingredients (Retinol & Glycolic Acid). My milia aren't large, but I have definitely noticed they are getting smaller and less noticeable as time goes on. My under-eye area is definitely smoother, though I notice that my creases look deeper in the morning if I use this treatment on it's own. The effect is only temporary, but enough to make me sigh and put on my HG morning eye gel (Guinot Anti Fatigue Eye Gel), and be grateful that it fixes the problem. MD Forte Rejuvenation does much better as nightly treatment (or in my case, every other night) with another eye cream layered lightly over the top. Right now, I'm trying it out with Shiseido Bio Performance Super Eye Contour Cream.

If you're reading this and are looking for something to help reduce your milia, I would definitely recommend you try MD Forte Rejuvenating Eye Cream. If it doesn't work the first time, or causes small red bumps, play around with the amount and how often you use it. If you do get red bumps like I do from time to time, Avene Soothing Eye Contour Cream helps the bumps heal in a day or two. Half a pump (for both eyes) of MD Forte every second night is the best amount in my experience. I would also recommend using Eminence Naseberry Eye Exfoliant ($70 AUD from StrawberryNET) every night before you apply your night time eye cream/serum/treatments. It's non-irritating, gentle and is great to use at night before applying the MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation Eye Cream + moisturising eye cream of your choice. It may seem like a pricey and complicated routine, but I feel confident enough to step out the door without a scrap of concealer, which says a lot as I get up at 3:30 am for work.
