Blush -Lipstick Queen -Black Lace Rabbit Blush

I like the idea of a black blush, however this is not it. The shimmer is overwhelming and applies unevenly. I will not repurchase.

Lip Gloss -Lipstick Queen -Altered Universe Lip Gloss

The Lipstick Queen Altered Universe is a lip gloss that comes in two super shimmery / sparkly / glittery shades- Time Warp and Space Cadet. These can be used alone or on top of other lipsticks as a lip topper. I like that the formula is non-sticky and doesn't have much, if any, flavor. This does transfer a great deal because it is a lip gloss. These are beautiful, but they are, basically, just a lip gloss with a lot of shimmer and sparkle. I really like this lip color, and I've found that (for me) the best way to apply it is to lightly dab it onto the lips until you build up the shade you want. The first time I applied it, I smeared it all over my lips in a heavy coat and was horrified when it came out looking hot pink and patchy. However, when I dab it onto my lips lightly, it looks lovely; it's hard to describe the color. It's definitely not a true red, or a coral, or a pink; it's kind of a mixture of all three. It's not too bright; it's muted, which is what I prefer in lip colors. It has a very similar texture to Frog Prince--light, balmy, moisturizing, and sheer yet pigmented. However, it doesn't stain your lips like Frog Prince does, so after a few hours you have to reapply. For that reason, I think it's slightly overpriced, but the unique color and formula make it worthwhile for me.

This is one of my new favorite lip products. I think some people aren't thrilled by it because they're expecting an opaque lipstick. However, this is actually a lip stain. It's exactly what I was hoping it would be: sheer yet pigmented, moisturizing yet light. This gives my lips a natural, cool-toned pink flush that looks equally good with a bare face or a full face of makeup. The formula is really unique; it's moisturizing (one of the first ingredients is castor oil) but it doesn't coat my lips in a heavy layer or mask. It looks natural because it allows the texture of your lips to show, which I personally like but could also be a disadvantage if your lips are chapped or wrinkled. I can wear it multiple days in a row without my lips getting dry (I just make sure to apply a good balm overnight). Also, the green color just makes it fun to apply. The packaging is simple, high quality, and sleek. It's a little pricey, but if you're interested in other Lipstick Queen colors, try purchasing one of the gift sets--you can get two or three full-size lipsticks for a reduced price.

Overall, if you're looking for a great, "my lips but better" lip stain that has a foolproof application, this is the product for you!

Lipstick -Lipstick Queen -Hello Sailor

Frog Prince is my HG. It leaves my lips moisturized with the perfect natural shade of pink, and the stain lasts most of the day. I tried the Hello Sailor gloss formula first and was not impressed. It stayed on for like 30 minutes and the color was faint. Still, I decided to give the lipstick a shot.

It feels exceptionally moisturizing, just like frog prince. I layered it on, then walked over to the mirror, excited to see cool berry tones and a tooth-whitening effect. Much to my dismay, my lips looked cold and undead, like I had been left submerged in ice cold water. My lips weren't as blue as the lipstick itself, but there was this horrid, unhealthy looking shade of bruises and frostbite. I have naturally very dark circles under my eyes and when you add cold, dead blue lips it really takes my look in a different direction. I will use this up by layering it over a pink lip liner. It is so moisturizing, I hate to toss it. I'll stick looking like part of the living and switch back to Frog Prince as soon as this is finished.
