Highlighters -Laura Geller -Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator - Charming Pink

I already have two of Laura Geller's Baked Gelato highlighters, but I never noticed how pretty Charming Pink was before recently. In the pan it is a pale baby pink shade, but swatched and on the skin it is a very faint pinkish white shimmer that is so flattering. It is less golden and slightly sheerer than Becca's Rose Quartz or Jouer's Rose Quarts, and I find it to be a more cool-toned pink than those two. It lasts pretty well on my skin, and I think it will be my go-to highlight this spring. I love that LG's highlights are fairly affordable compared to a lot of what Ulta sells now; this brand's highlights should be a lot more hyped up than they are. My only complaint is that the packaging is kind of blah, but for the price I can live with that. The product inside is well worth what they charge for it.

Primer/ Corrector -Laura Geller -Spackle Blur: Hydrate

on 4/19/2018 7:45:00 AM

The new Laura Geller Spackle Blur is a convenient way to apply a primer. I must admit though that the hydration claims are overstated. This does contain some good ingredients and oils but with the amount of dimethecones these don't have much of a change to do any hydrating. This definitely extends the wear of foundation and makeup- I used this on days I went to the gym and at the end of the day my makeup still looked great. I do think if you have oily skin you will still have extended wear of your makeup.

The only warning I have is to be careful and start out slow if you have acne prone skin because there are a few ingredients that could cause breakouts so applying this to a test area might be a good idea if you are breakout prone. The other concern I have is how long this will last because I've already used quite a bit of the tube just testing this out for three weeks, seems like one might last just over a month, but thankfully this isn't a highly overpriced product like some can be. I do like this and will save it for when I travel up to the cabin this summer. My review video can be seen here:

Blush -Laura Geller -Honeysuckle

Honey Suckle (spelled as two words on my packaging purchased in 2018) is a pretty baked blush with pale pink swirled into a darker warm bronzey shade. On the skin it turns into a pretty rosey bronze shade, or even a slightly darker rose gold. I am very fair, so I do have to use a light hand, but applied with a duofiber brush I get a gorgeous, glowy cheek that really compliments warm eye looks. I don't mind the shimmer (which is in no way glitter IMHO--just a luminous flush) as I think it really can liven up my complexion a lot. Overall, this was a very good buy, and I am glad that I got this shade as I was looking for something unique to my collection.

Highlighters -Laura Geller -Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Diamond Dust

This is one of my everyday loves! It is so light and lasts all day! I bought mine at QVC and it came with the angled application brush. I also purchased the gold honey from Ulta. Way smaller but i love it! No brush came with that one though.

Worked well at first, but it made me break out. It also caused this weird itchy feeling on my face.
