Lipstick -Lancôme -Rouge In Love - 391N Fiery Attitude

on 10/19/2018 11:05:00 AM

This is a wonderful lipstick. Not just the shade, but also how smoothly it applies and it's staying power. I highly recommend this. Price is high though but the lastly power as well as the color are amazing.

Liquid -Lancôme -Teint Idole Ultra Liquid 24h Longwear SPF 15 Foundation

on 10/19/2018 3:27:00 AM

My skin has extra oily T-zone and normal to (sometimes) dry the rest of my face.I was using the double wear from Estee launder for a year and although I was satisfied with the high coverage and the duration, this foundation felt really heavy on my face.It was too matt and not natural at all to wear it during the day, it was great for special occasions (although my boyfriend was always noticing how ”heavy painted” my face look when I was wearing it even though I was putting a tiny amount).
So I was searching for a lighter coverage foundation, but still glamourous enough for night parties.I Switched to Even Better by Clinique, but although it was light, natural (and didn't brake me out like double wear), the coverage was too light for my taste. I don't have acne or extreme discolorations, I just want a flawless face for photos (you know what I mean 🤣).
So I decided to try this one and I think I found me balance! It is medium coverage that gets high when you put extra layers, but without feeling heavy on the face.It minimizes my pores to give a flawless look for photos and it is semi matt semi dewy, but not like the sweaty dewy, like your face is hydrated and healthy! After 8 hours of wearing it in a humid environment, it was still there at 90%.
I has a variety of shades so I found the one that perfectly matches my face and this definitely makes a difference. It makes your skin gorgeous without looking like you put tones of layers of make up that don't match your natural colors.
I just don't agree with the comments that say it is suitable for very oily faces. In my oily areas, around the nose for example, it started feeling greasy after a couple of hours, but without melting. I would suggest to try it before you buy it as I understand, it can react differently on each skin.
Overall a great foundation if you want flawless but not heavy and unnatural skin.

Lipstick -Lancôme -L'Absolu Rouge - Exotic Orchid

on 10/18/2018 5:46:00 AM

Exotic Orchid is a plum rose MLBB type of shade. It skews a touch more plummy than your typical rose shades but has that same mix of your typical MLBB. It is similar in tone to MAC Capricious but the color payoff is much stronger with this since Capricious is a Lustre formula. This is my first Lancome lipstick that I have kept. I do not care for the smell, but the color is very pretty, neutral, and classic...just one of those shades I like to have in my arsenol...very work appropriate. Plus it is extremely comfortable on my lips. At 44, my lip lines and dryness can become pretty apparent to the point where even creamier satin formulas like MAC Twig can show off my aging lips too much (that falls in this color family too a bit...but Exotic Orchid is definitely more plum, both have a warm mauve vibe). It looks good on my lips too, glossy and pigmented. I have become a huge fan of this type of formula of late because they always look good and feel nice. This is not my favorite color, but it is a valuable color...a workhorse shade. As I mentioned before, on my nw20, deep winter complexion this would be a great work/office shade providing some ooomph, but not OTT and allowing for a simple clean eye.

Mascara -Lancôme -Monsieur Big Volume Mascara

I used two mini versions of this first and loved it. I've now bought a big one when it was for 20% off. I didn't think I would fall in love with it. I had used L'Oreal Miss Hippie before this and loved that, also. (I couldn't find it anymore where I live, though.) I think the application of the Lancome one is a bit easier. I apply a thin coat on one eye, then the other. Then I go back for a second coat and by then the first has dried and this method seems to be working best. The first coat separates the lashes and keeps them that way. The second adds volume and lenght. (I also like to coat my lashes from behind.) Not too carzy about the packaging, but looks a lot classier than the L'Oreal one so I'm not complaining. LOL. When my last mini was on its last leg and started to dry out, I was on a trip. I just added a couple of drops of clean water and it perfectly revived it so I could use it for another couple of weeks. I don't use it on my lower lashes. I use MAC Exteneded Play there.

Powder -Lancôme -Teint Miracle Natural Light Creator SPF20

on 10/15/2018 7:11:00 PM

My skin is too pale, even though my hair and eyes are dark, so it's hard for me to find the right color, so i need a sheer - medium coverage foundation. It's creamy but not oily, it's easy to melt, it doesn't get dry so fast so you can't correct it,(that's the reason why I hated Dior Forever). The result, it gives skin a luminous finish, the coverage is buildable, I use Beige albatre tone, you can wear powder and blush over it and you still look fresh. I like it, I'll buy it again for sure, but I need to try more products to say that it's my favourite.
