About the brand

La Mer was founded by an German-born astro-physicist named Max Huber. After suffering serious burns in a lab accident in the 1950s, he turned to the sea to find and formulate powerful healing ingredients that eventually became Creme de La Mer. It is owned by Estee Lauder Companies and is available online and at luxury retailers worldwide.

When my skin was much oiler I was using the Gel Cream. Older and my skin isn't so oily and now leans on the drier side so I had to move over to the Soft Cream. I'm on my third jar which I rotate...

I know, it is crazy expensive. I have found some ways to pay less for it: Poshmark and Mercari (be sure you learn how to spot fakes) and even Costco has Creme de la Mer now. This is the ONLY thing...
