Moisturizers -L'Occitane -Immortelle Divine Cream

I've been toying with buying this because of the harsh Canadian winters and I finally caved. I've used it for all of three days and it's really good. I was worried that it would be greasy and break me out but it absorbs completely. I've got combination skin, that's sensitive so there's lots here that can irritate and it hasn't. I use Shiseido sunscreen on top and surprisingly they play well together. At the end of the day when I go home and look in the mirror, my skin doesn't look dehydrated which is amazing. I'll give an update in a few weeks but at this point I'd give it a go. The scent is strong but it wears off so for these results I'll tolerate it.

Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane -Verbena Frappé Body Cream

This is an ultra light cream that's very fluffy in texture and has a refreshing citrus scent. It absorbs super fast and is very cooling, It provides light moisturizing so if you have very dry skin then this wouldn't be right for you. I imagine this would be fantastic on a hot day or after sun treatment especially if you pop it in the fridge. Two things that I didn't like about it is 1) the price, it's expensive and because it's so light you'll go through the tub really quickly and 2) I don't know if I bought a defected product but the cream had a weird grit when I first applied it. I mean, when you dip your fingers into the tub it's nice and fluffy then when you apply and spread it on your body it has a slightly gritty texture that quickly disappears.I got used to it pretty quickly but it was totally unexpected and weird enough for me that I don't intend to repurchase now that I've run out of it.

Skincare - Body -L'Occitane -Amande Supple Skin Oil

I got the sample of this so I can’t say anything for the packing quality on the normal bottle. The product though is very nice. I used it right after a shower, with about a quarter size amount on each arm and leg, and then again for midsection. My skin felt VERY soft and supple. And the smell is amazing. I don’t even know what it smells like but I found myself pulling my shirt over my nose to take a whiff. Minus one star because it’s quite pricey. And I usually use the neutrogena oil which is super cheap, also smells amazing and seems to do an equally good job. So I doubt I’ll ever purchase the L’occitane stuff but it was a nice treat and if you have the money, go for it.

Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane -Almond - AMANDE Concentre De Lait Milk Concentrate Body Cream - Almond Line

I should have listened to the reviews here. Hopefully other reviewers with sensitive skin will see the repetition in some of these reviews like mine and avoid this product.

Like others, I LOVE the Almond Shower Oil. As someone with sensitive skin and KP this was a life changer that I have continued to use for years. When I popped in-store to purchase a refill, I was successfully talked into buying a gift pack in the Almond range that included this moisturiser. I figured that if the Shower Oil was such a success for me, surely the body moisturiser in the same range would be too! I've used it after my shower for 4 days in a row and I've got these bumps all over my arms and legs - some of which are a bit itchy. It took 2 days to figure out and now it's just clicked - the only thing that's changed is using this moisturiser!!!

I also think the glass jar is problematic. It feels so dangerous to have in a room where if it fell, not only do I think it would shatter but it would definitely crack my bathroom tiles given it's weight.

I will take it back to the shop and see if they'll help me out by swapping this - it's an expensive product that seems to be causing a lot of reactions like this.

Lip Treatments -L'Occitane -Ultra riche 10% Shea butter lip balm

Tube is misleading product only fills a third of tube. I keep trying this and get the same results meh. It’s very hard in tube takes a bit of pressure to coat lips. I put on at night when I think about it before bed. I use when my lips are in good condition doesn’t help chapped or peeling. I would have thought Shea would be extra moisturizing not so much. May try to use up product on feet instead with socks at night. Will not repurchase this or cute little tub.
