Gels/Soaps -Johnson & Johnson - Baby Oil Gel in Shea and Cocoa Butter

This is one of the BEST body moisturizer I have used, once I figured out how to use it right.
It need to be applied on while your skin is still damp or rather wet, not dripping wet of course but do it right after you step out of the shower and have lightly dap off the excess water with a towel. A little goes a long way, no need to lather it on, it is oil in gel form so it's very easy to spread. The only con to this is that it takes a little time to fully absorb so I have to wait around for a bit before I can put clothes on, but it works so well that I find myself not having to use any other moisturizer afterwards, even hand cream.
This thing make your skin so, so soft and supple that my husband keeps trying to rub his hand on my legs whenever I use it. And once after a few day of me religiously slapping this on he suddenly said "Your skin shines! It looks so healthy and.... expensive!!" Cracked me up but I took that as the best compliment since it came from a guy who couldn't even notice whether I'm wearing makeup or not.
Oh and in the summer I use this instead of highlighter for my body. Applying it lightly on the shoulder and neckline makes your tan POPS and it just looks incredibly gorgeous.

Powders -Johnson & Johnson - Baby Powder

I have to say that I am one oily MOFO... it's actually embarrassingly so, but that's a whole other story. I have tried using baby powder (original, the Cornstarch one does nothing for me, in fact it actually makes my oily skin worse) under my liquid foundation as per a recommended tip by Wayne Goss, and while I did notice that my face looked almost satin like while using doing this tip, it didnt control the oil nor keep the makeup on my face too much longer than usual. So i was disappointed and was contemplating breaking down and going broke, biting the bullet and just buying the ELDW foundation again (even though it has many flaws). But hey, at least it wouldn't budge!

HOWEVER, I was just watching Youtube and came across a review by a lady saying that she sprinkles a loose powder into her foundation, and that helps to keep it matte, stay on longer and also give a better coverage. I am not sure how adding a translucent powder gives more coverage, but my ignorant guess would be that it makes the foundation go on thicker, and therefore higher coverage. Anyways, having nothing else to lose but my patience with foundations, I tried her method.

I applied my foundation onto my palette (lid top of a Bath and Body Works candle lol) and sprinkled a bit of this baby powder into it, swirled it around and stippled onto my face as per usual. To seal it in, I used my fluff puff with some more baby powder, and SWEET MARY AND JOSEPH what in the fluck is this?! my foundation, my RUNNY ASS foundation, that literally patches, and comes off within a few fours, as well as my oily slick skin - was matte and fresh looking ALL DAY (8 hour work day). I did start to get oily on my nose around 12:00 but that in itself is a miracle. Usually after an hour there is shine on my nose (a, I lucky, or am I lucky, right?) I blotted, and then had to blot again around 3.30 p.m. BUT my foundation was still in tact and not nearly as patchy as usual (only a slight bit, but barely noticeable).

I cant stop looking at my face, because this never ever ever happens. I am always trying new hacks and they unfortunately all fail me, but this one, my goodness... i have been in such a good mood today because my makeup has stayed put!

To anyone frustrated beyond belief with their oily skin, pls try this method.

Lotions/ Creams -Johnson & Johnson - Baby Lotion

I have Little Ones (Kmart dupe for J&J) in the pump bottle but I've bought J&J too many X to count. This sweet smelling pink lotion is the bomb! I prefer baby magic & I have some on order but I've been using Little Ones for a few days no complaints it's not any diff than J&J. I use this as an all over body moisturizing lotion or Jergens Original Cherry Almond scent are my HG's I don't buy scented lotions anymore from bath&bodyworks/VS except to use a little on my pulse points I get them at xmas time & now they last all year long so I can stretch them out due to the fact I'm using regular lotions they are cheap & readily available at Kroger. This doesn't remind me of babies or anything thank goodness since I dislike babies. The only "kids" I like are baby goats ;-)

Skincare - Body -Johnson & Johnson - Baby Oil Gel

I love this stuff! It's super moisturizing. I find it hard to spread so I mix it with a little bit of Johnson's Baby Lotion for easier application. It makes my skin feel super soft and locks moisture in when applied after a shower.

I use this as an eye makeup remover. It works excellently and it's super cheap. I apply it to a cotton ball, apply it around my eyes and then ensure I rinse my eye area well with water. The first couple of times I used it it felt oilier than I was used to and I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but it worked so well and washed off well. I've never looked back. This stuff is a great way to save money!
