Lipstick -Hourglass Cosmetics -Femme Rouge Velvet Creme Lisptick - ICON

Smooth, moisturizing formula

I prefer the liquid lipstick in this color due to better color payoff

Overall: 3.5* - a magenta/pink red, not really the true red it is described to be. Decent formula, but the liquid version has better pigmentation.

Powder -Hourglass Cosmetics -Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light

I loved this. I use it as a finishing powder for the whole face and it really made my face glow subtly, and it looks healthy and supple in photos. It is not as strong as a highlight so I wouldn’t use it for that. I think you’ve got to know what to use it for or else it wouldn’t look good. I would definitely repurchase. I used mine til there’s none left on the palette and it lasted me for really Long- about a year.

Pressed Powders -Hourglass Cosmetics -Ambient Lighting Powder - Diffused Light

Huge regret! If you don't mind shimmery products then you won't have a problem with this powder because it's a finely milled, barely tinted almost tranculent powder. It's not matiffying, it is slightly oil absorbing but mainly it's an illuminating finishing powder. I personally hate shimmery products on my face. This stuff is super shimmery for my tastes and I can see the shimmer on my face, it's like the fairy of glitter farted on my face! I have tried in the past similar illuminating finishing powders from Suqqu and Chanel and I didn't like them either. So I have come to the conclusion that these type of powders are not for me! It was such a waste of money but I try to use it on my undereyes as a setting powder!

Pressed Powders -Hourglass Cosmetics -Ambient Lighting Powder - Dim Light

I used up the $22 travel size recently, and decided to grab the full size. This is that "wake up my face, give me
life" type of product. I'm 49, and have great skin for my age, my issue is I don't wear a lot of face makeup, and I do need that extra oomph to liven up my face, without adding tons of color/coverage. I prefer to use this all over as a final finishing powder, using a large fluffy brush to press it into my skin..I love using the pink and gold Tarte powder brush for this. Dim light is the only shade that really flatters my N22/25 very neutral skin tone, and gives me a flawless airbrushed look..definitely recommend.

Mascara -Hourglass Cosmetics -Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara

It is a really outstanding mascara.
Extremely easy to use - no clumps, no spider legs - beautifully separated, lengthened and volumized lashes - but still feathery soft and light.
And it stays put from morning till evening - no smearing, no panda ayes - no dark spots falling on cheeks. Just awesome.

But I haven't rated it 5 stars, as I feel the company advertising and info are a "bit" misleading.
first thing - we do not test on animals and donate 1% of our profit to pro-animal organization. Yep, right. The company mather company is Estee Lauder - still testing on animlas, so cut the crap and stop treating you customers like fools.
Second issue - in the web site you cannot find the full ingredients list, but there is info, the we do not use this and that - and there it goes o long list of harmful ingredients.

But if you analyze the INCI on the package you will find parabens, and lots of them, as the shell file of the mascara after opening is 12 months, when usually it is 6 for other mascaras.
This is why I won't buy it again and also will not buy any other Hourglass product.
