Goji Berry Eye Cream

A little info: I have genetic dark circles, fine lines, and dry sensitive skin. I've never been a very consistent user of eye creams, but now that I'm hitting my mid-30's those days are over. Yay. So this cream has arnica and vitamin k, both of which should help dark circles and for me, they do. Mine are genetic so they're never going to go away completely, but they've definitely lightened up in the 3 weeks I've been using this cream. So far it hasn't really done anything for my fine lines, but I don't expect it to either. There aren't any actives like retinol or vitamin C that would make a difference in that regard. Personally, I would describe this cream as lightly hydrating. It's not heavy, sticky, or greasy like some eye creams can be, which I appreciate. it layers well, in that regard. Overall I'm really pleased with this cream, especially for only costing about $15. I do wish it came in a tube instead of a jar though.

I bought this for my mom who has psoriasis, but started using it myself because this cream contains 2% Salicylic Acid and I thought it could help with acne. My mom seems pleased with this cream for dealing with her psoriasis. She says it gets rid of the peeling skin. If you have sensitive skin, I would advise you to either dilute it with oil/water everytime you use it, as it could have a slight burning sensation (or at least it did for me.) NEVER apply around the eye area, it will burn like hell. The smell is overwhelming; it smells strongly of ginger+chemical. I don't necessarily find it super unpleasant, but I can see other people disliking it. Although the cream is quite rich and moisturizing, the finish is not greasy and quite matte. I found this to be moisturizing enough for my dry skin. It did help a little bit with any pimples that I had, but nothing miraculous, and I don't have too many pimples to need this in my cabinet; will not buy again.
