Lips -Dior -Addict Lacquer Plump

This is for Dior Addict Lacquer Plump in 426 Lovely-D

Pros: Interesting formula, it's a thin lip stain-like formula, but it has a moisturizing, comfortable feeling. I love this color for an every day look

Cons: The plumping effect is not very noticeable

Overall: 5* - it's a unique product and I like the color for a "your lips but better" look

Liquid -Dior -Diorskin Forever Extreme Wear Flawless Makeup SPF25

Each time I visit the cosmetics store and ask them to recommend a foundation, this gets recommended. I once bought a bottle of this, and I cannot understand the hype at all. The packaging itself looks amazing, it smells good, it has a decent amount of coverage... but this foundation looks horrible on my face.

It does look like I have dispersed small particles on my skin - tiny, tiny particles, and it does not melt in. I have tried it with the Dior Forever primer underneath, silicone based primers, just moisturiser, gel moisturisers, serums, nothings seems to work well. I have applied it with a beautyblender, that does not work. It definitely applies best with a foundation brush. I have almost tried everything, layering thin layers, going in with thick layers, using Fix + before, after and while applying. This foundation do not want to settle, and it wears terrible.

As a reference I also struggle with Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation, Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation, No 7 Stay Perfect, Max Factor Radiant Lift and Estee Lauder Double Wear.

Fragrances -Dior -Miss Dior eau de parfum 2017

At first I hated this scent. I used to own Miss Dior Cherie and loved it- it was just delightful. I was utterly disappointed when I found out it’s been discontinued and apparently the new Miss Dior smells like old lady’s perfume. So I smelled it and hated it, especially compared to old Miss Dior.

I work in Sephora and we actually got 100ml bottles of this scent as gift. So I decided to give it a try- and oddly I liked it! It reminds me of Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl scent, only it’s more „spicy”. Once it evolves, it becomes more elegant and refined, with a not-too-sweet, flowery note.
I guess this is the kind of scent you have to grow to like.
The lasting power is great, like most Dior perfumes.

Foundations -Dior -Backstage Face & Body Foundation

I tried this base because the lady at sephora recomended it and I have to say THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL LADY! I have combination skin and for my everyday I like a sheer coverage, but every base I’ve tried ends up dissapearing by the end of the day on my T-zone, but this stayed with me until the very end, even though I was on a rush and didn’t set it or used a primer underneath (just my daily moisturizer and a spritz of rose water). This make up melts on my skin like heaven and it’s nearly invisible. It does cling on some dry spots around my nose so prepped skin is necessary. I wouldn’t personally recomend this for people with dry skin, but you can always try different ways until you find one that works for you. Also, though it says you can build coverage, to me, it doesn’t seem like a very good idea (haven’t tried it but it’s so thin I could mess it up i so many ways, since I’m fairly new to make-up), so I would go for a high coverage base instead. Finally, about the ingredients, I do have somewhat sensitive skin, but haven’t had any problems, though I’ve only had it for a few days. Do get a tester first because it seems to be common to get skin issues. TL;DR sheer coverage, great durability, not for dry skin, harsh ingredients so test first

Mascara -Dior -Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer

Love. For mascara, I always go for drugstore, but somehow I always go back to this primer. Used it when it had a different name, Lash Plumping Serum. Good that they changed it because it doesn’t really help your lashes grow. But it doesn’t change the fact that it is an amazing primer which lengthens and curls your lashes without making them clumpy.
Works with every mascara. Combined with my fave Lash Sensational or even Essence Lash Princess it gives me a truly “false lash effect”.
It will last you for even more than 3 months, which is why I think it’s one of those luxe products that are actually worth the money.
