I'm really big on sulphate-free shampoo's so I'm always excited to try out a new product. Upon stumbling on creme of nature argan oil shampoo and conditioner at only £4.99 a bottle, I was thrilled to find a sulphate free shampoo that was affordable! Unfortunately, I did not have the same positive experience that all these reviews are boasting. My hair has a mix of loose and tight waves and is dry. It's normal in thickness and has a lot of volume to it. When I tried to squeeze the product out the bottle, I found it quite difficult. I assumed its because the product is thicker than normal shampoo's so I would need less. When washing my hair it felt silky and lovely and I didn't mind the smell of the shampoo. The problem occurred when my hair dried. I left my hair in a bun, slightly damp... the next morning it was a knotty mess! Which has never happened! I didn't want to give up on the product, so I put it down to putting my hair in a bun when it was damp and using too much product... Onto the second time I attempted using the shampoo and conditioner. I used a lot less, I focused the conditioner on the very tips of my hair. I decided =o blow dry my hair this time to avoid the previous problem. What a mess! My hair yet again was sticky and glumpy. It felt like I had a lot of sticky residue on the hair strands, and my hair was literally sticking together. I wondered if straightening my hair would fix the problem...nope! My hair was literally sticking to my scalp, it felt horrid and heavy, and no matter how much I brushed it with my tangle teaser, it just kept knotting up almost instantly! Unless you have thick coarse hair, I do not recommend this product. My hair can usually take a lot of product/heavy product very well, but not this one. I shall be sticking to my usual non sulphate shampoo.

I keep on coming back to this leave-in conditioner. First off, the scent is absolutely delightful; it smells like sweet vanilla cream. It works equally well on wet or dry hair and does a great job of minimizing tangles and frizz without leaving any sticky residue. As a side note, the contents do tend to separate, so give it a good shake every time you use it. Otherwise, I highly recommend it, and I must have repurchased this product half a dozen times already.

This is one of the only products that work in mine and my daughters hair. I use it on clean damp hair before my leave in conditioner. Smooth and soft hair everytime.

I wanted to like this, I truly did. I am always up for trying new deep conditioners and I generally have a bit of luck selecting products from the "ethnic" hair section, probably because my hair is very curly and needs a bit more moisture than most run-of-the-mill conditioners are apt to give. When I saw a decent sized packet of this for $1.99, of course I'm willing to give it a whirl. All I can say is, I'm glad I didnt opt for the full size (if it's available) because this did nothing for my hair! The first time I tried this, I left it on for a ludicrously long time because it was a pajamas only day and, after washing it out, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. My hair felt exactly the same as it had earlier that day- in fact, there are a number of fairly "weak" (low moisture) conditioners out there that left my hair feeling better. Second times a charm, right? Not so much- I gave this another shot some days ago and once again, my hair didn't feel any more moisturized than if I had used a moisturizing shampoo. I had to go in with another conditioner but at that point, the die had been cast and my hair doesn't feel so hot. Blechh. So, moral of the story- this didn't set me back any big money (one lippie) and it didn't make my hair feel WORSE, so out of generosity I'm giving two lippies but really I can't fathom ever using this again. For the sake of honesty, I will say that the proteins in this conditioner might have disturbed my hair a little, and it's not necessarily the quality of the conditioner that's the problem. I've been known to have this issue in the past. If you have low-porosity and/or protein sensitive hair, be warned.

Bought this in an Ethnic shop in Holland by coincidence, and I'm actually surprisingly pleased. I have the sunflower coconut one, and I think it does exactly what it says. It is conditioning and detangling. Love that. I also like the smell, it's a quite neutral but pleasant shampoo smell, nothing too strong. I prefer this one much better to the Aussie Luscious Long shampoo that I used before this, which has a much more fancy image to it. The Aussie one had a very thick consistency, whereas this one is creamy, but thinner, and feels like it cleanses my hair better from grease and dirt.Pro:- nice smell- cleans hair well- nice consistency- conditioningCon:- cruelty free?- package could be cuter, but whatever
