I bought this based on a recommendation in a book. I wanted something really light for nighttime that would fight breakouts. The texture of this was just perfect. It sinks right into your skin and doesn't leave any greasy residue. Unfortunately, this made my acne worse. After a couple of uses, two or three pimples turned into a dozen. I think this has menthol in it, because there is a cooling sensation when you smooth it on. The menthol might have irritated my skin and kicked up my acne. This would probably work well for someone with less reactive skin.

A must have item for me. It keeps the cystic acne on my forehead at bay and keeps my large pores cleaned out. I use this every day on my T zone. I like that Persa-gel has micronized 10% benzoyl peroxide in it so that the active ingredient applies better to the skin. When used daily, this can dry out skin. I use a facial scrub and an oil free moisturizer to help with the dryness. Also, you should apply sunscreen when using products with benzoyl peroxide.

I was looking for something on a whim before the gym (rhymes are fun). Saw this, thought ehhhhhh why not. I've tried A LOT of makeup wipes. Some cheap, some great, but even the andalou all natural ones burned my skin so bad. I really like the aveeno calming one for sensitive skin and I love it and this one actually reminds me a lot of it. It has a nice moisturizing slip to it, which I don't mind, especially if I'm feeling lazy to wash my face (for shame!) but no burning and no redness, cleans off my makeup and smells nice and I really don't have anything bad to say about it. I just find sometimes makeup wipes can be super expensive for no reason.

I was extremely disappointed in this face wash... I have extremely dry skin this time of year, and I was tired of spending a lot of money on other face washes that don't work... So I bought the cheaper option, and that turned out to be a mistake. I used clean and clear a lot in my early teens so I had higher expectations for this. Let me tell you one thing: IT IS NOT IN ANY WAY HYDRATING. This stuff made my skin look AND feel like the Sahara Desert. Makeup always looked crappy no matter how much moisturizer I would put on because this stuff ruined my skin after every wash. The only good thing about it was that it DOES cleanse the skin pretty well, and does do a good job of taking off makeup. I will never use this stuff again though. My new routine for dry, acne prone skin is this: 1. Take off makeup using a microfiber cloth and water2. Wash skin using Neutrogena's Hydroboost Face Wash Gel 3. Tone skin with Thayer's alcohol-free rose petal witch hazel4. Moisturize with St. Ive's collagen face moisturizerInexpensive and effective!

This mask is not as effective as my beloved Aztec Indian Healing Clay. This claims to detox skin.Despite the claims of many cosmetics companies, you cannot "detox" your skin. Brands that make this claim never really specify exactly what substances or toxins their products are supposed to eliminate, which makes sense, because your skin does not store toxins.I will not purchase.
