Triton is described on the Chantecaille website as "A warm and moody silvery gray." That, believe it or not, is quite right. Triton is a chameleon. It looks like a medium, neutral-to-warm brownish-blah-grey in the pot, but can look grey, brown, taupe, green, or silver on the lid depending on the light and application. Part of this is due to the very fine shimmer it contains. It's mostly silver, but if looked at in direct sun, it's easy to distinguish a sprinkling of other subtle colors throughout. The product has a dry, firm texture that feels a bit gritty when picked up with a finger, but don't let that put you off. The application is incredibly smooth and easy, and it's easy to apply a wash or build it up for a bit of drama and a beautiful sheen that's subtler than metallic. It wears extremely well--8+ hours in heat and humidity--with no creasing and only a little fading. The shadow is packaged in a small pot that allows easy access to a brush or finger, and I've had no issues with it drying out even though I've had it for over a year (the texture is the same as the day I got it--impressive). If you're looking for a shadow that's different yet elegant, works for casual, work, or evening looks, *and* is a one-and-done, this is it. A medium application of Triton with liner (changing liner shade really changes the look--navy, brown, grey, black, green) and mascara makes a most elegant everyday eye look (I just pop it on over a primer with a finger), and because it's so changeable, you can wear it daily without seeming like you're in an eyeshadow rut. Like all things Chantecaille, it's expensive, but well worth it. I would repurchase.

I don't get why this product has so many bad reviews. I personally feel this is the best pressed HD setting powder I've tried in my life, everyday i put sunblock, concealer for under eyes, then put this powder all over my face. This makes my skin look brighter, natural and luminous. The only downsides are the hefty price and the packaging is not refillable, maybe if its refillable it won't be so expensive. Honestly, I don't wanna throw this powder case once its finish.

First, let me say that I am a skincare junkie. I am in my mid-thirties and have really taken an interest in skincare rituals that will hopefull allow me to age gracefully. I have tried La Prairie Caviar Moisturizer and Creme de La Mer which both worked well. My husband has excema that is triggered by stress and environmental factors, he testes CDLM at Duty Free in the airport and bought the soft creme. Unfortunately, after a while his skin stopped responding to CDLM and so, my hunt continues for a product which we would both love and see results. I did research and ended up shocked at how many cancer-causing, irritating, and otherwise unhealthy ingredients are used in these two top-of-the-line skin care lines. Additionally, both companies (LP and LM) make it very difficult to find out the ingredients of their products. Enter Chantacaille. Due to its natural formula, and nano gold particles this product is amazing. The scent is nothing noteworthy, however the texture and feel on the skin is amazing. I purchased a small delux sample on ebay and have been using it (with my husband) nightly Before bed.A little goes a long way and the results are better than CDLM with regard to leaving your skin radiant. However, it is not as moisturizing. I do not have severe dry skin, so the level of moiusturization it provides is perfect for me. After 2 weeks of use our skin has visibly improved. I do not know if it will continue its efficacy in the months to come, however given the price of all of these brands, i would choose this item first and then the La Prairie Caviar Sleep Mask.

I wanted to hate it because of the price, but I fell in love. It’s the pricey mascara that you had no idea you needed...until you use it. And my go-to before was DiorShow- so I am headed in the wrong direction! $$&

Officially, the full name of this is "Chantecaille Hydrating Gel-Cream Blush," and that's quite accurate. This product is what I thought Benefit Dandelion Dew would be, instead of the opaque, Pepto-pink mess it turned out to be. It is packaged in a squeeze tube, and it the amount you want comes out easily and accurately--no bursts of product flying out of the tube and onto you, your clothes, or your mirror. It does indeed have a gel-cream texture--very light, almost mousse-like--is easy to blend and layer, and there is no scent. It feels almost cool to the touch, and although I don't find it particularly moisturizing, it's not drying (nor does it look dry), either. Happy is the pink shade (Lovely is the peach), yet straight out of the tube, Happy looks peachy-pink. Once applied and blended, though, it looks (on my NC 15-20 skin) almost exactly like the original Benefit Dandelion--a light, beautiful, and flattering cool pink with very fine shimmer that's only visible in direct sunlight (otherwise it looks like a beautiful, natural glow). It is creamy on the skin for a minute or so before it dries down, so there's plenty of time for blending. However, it's very sheer--even if you're fair-complected, you might want to apply a second layer, and if you're darker than NC 20-25, it may not show up on you at all (or it would make a beautiful highlighter), so don't expect heavy pigmentation. The wear time is very good (I had no fading for 6+ hours in 100+ degree heat). For me, this is the perfect summer blush. Being Chantecaille, it is pricey--$44--but the tube holds 0.8 oz (20 ml), which is a lot of blush, even if it's sheer. Happy will probably be my go-to blush this summer, and I would repurchase.
