Blush -CLINIQUE -Blushing Blush Powder Blush - Cupid

foto

I have been wearing LM Rose Bloom. It's a peachy pink with no shimmer. I like it a lot and it looks natural. Today I decided to fish around in my blush basket for something a little pinker and I found this. I love it! It is a soft pink with shimmer (very slight shimmer). it is so flattering and applies without a patchiness. As soon a I applied I looked bright and just fresher looking. I needed less eye makeup too There is something about a soft pink flush that is flattering to everyone. I received many compliments today and the only thing different was the blush. If you are looking for a pink blush that is reasonable price this is definitely worth a try.

Eyeliner -CLINIQUE -quickliner in slate

I keep trying other brands of eyeliner, and I don't know why. Clinique quickliners have everything I want in an eyeliner. I really wish they didn't discontinue the navy, but anyway. They glide on smoothly, have good color payoff, last all day without smudging, are easy to remove, and don't irritate my sensitive eyes (unlike the intense versions).
I decided to try the slate color and I really like it...it's a medium cool grey that defines my small eyes and doesn't look too stark.

Treatments (Face) -CLINIQUE -Smart Custom repair serum

This serum surprised me - I had initially used it on my face, but didn't see any kind of measurable results. I didn't want it to go to waste, so I started using it on my throat instead. I've been using this consistently for the last couple of weeks, exclusively on my neck/upper chest and I've seen noticeable results. My skin is smoother, and any lines that were starting have faded noticeably. It's unexpected, since I didn't start out planning to use it on my neck, but the results are solid. I think the neck/upper chest tends to be neglected, and this was a happy accident. I'll actually re-purchase and use as part of my overall skin regime, and give my neck some love!

Liquid -CLINIQUE -Even Better Makeup SPF 15

I have mixed feeling about this foundation but they are generally positive. I bought this recently because I have been reacting really badly around my eye area to other foundations and know Clinique foundations are meant to be good for sensitive skin.

Pros
Gives good coverage, it evens out my skin tone nicely and covers blemishes.
Has a lovely finish, I always used to wear matte foundations because I have oily skin but this has more of natural finish and I think it makes me look healthier.
It generally stays in place all day which I’m impressed with and it doesn’t look too oily and greasy.
When I take it off at the end of the day I think my skin looks nice and healthy.
I like the packaging, I'm not a fan of glass bottles that are heavy to carry round.

Cons
I was finding it quite difficult to apply at first because I’m used to using a brush but I find it goes on and blends much better if I just use my fingers. It took far too long using a brush and I was getting through a lot of product because it doesn’t spread easily.
For some reason it does come off my nose over the course of the day even though it stays everywhere else.
I’m wondering whether it oxidises, I think my face looks slightly more orange at the end of the day but not dramatically so.

Overall I like it and I think I will purchase again. I think the finish of the foundation is it’s real perk, a nice healthy natural glow while still being relatively matte.
