Eye Shadow -benefit Cosmetics -Velvet Eyeshadow Where There's Smoke

foto

This might be my favorite eyeshadow formula ever, just for the silky smooth texture and the way it blends so effortlessly. Pigmentation is good, but no, the sheen isn't crazy intense like a lot of these foiled shadows are now, but it's not supposed to be.

Where There's Smoke is not only one of my all-time favorite taupes, but just one of my all-time favorite eyeshadows. For some reason, this color always leans a bit green to me. I guess it's a khaki taupe, but I love that. I have very warm brown eyes and this cool khaki taupe really emphasizes and makes the most out of them. I'm always looking for ways to wear green on my eyes without looking like a St. Patrick's day parade, and this color is perfect. If anyone has any recs for a dupe, please message me!

Primer/ Corrector -benefit Cosmetics -The POREfessional

I finally gave in and tried out the travel size version of this primer. My skin is rather oily around the t-zone and quite dry on other parts of the face. Initial application was smooth and matte, as expected with any pore-blurring primer. Fast forward 3-4 hours later, my skin was so incredibly dry and my makeup cracked literally everywhere. Most notable was that my pores were the size of a meteoric crate and it also emphasized dry patches that werent even there!!! Mind you I was barely using any foundation cause I had a lot of errands to do that day, so the fact that my face looked horrid by just a few hours was mind-boggling to me. I tried to fix my makeup by beating my face with a sponge. Fast forward 5 hours later... my makeup was basically nonexistent aside from the dry patches that were left behind. When I got home and cleansed, my face got sooo itchy and irritated. The next day I got several bumps here and there. I’m positive I most probably got an allergic reaction to something in this primer.. but for sure will never try out this primer ever again!

Bronzers -benefit Cosmetics -HOOLA

I feel so left out with this product. I REALLY wanted to like it but it just makes me look dirty, muddy, etc. I was looking for something a little less time-intensive that my Clinque Bronzer for Men which, incidentally, is the best, most natural looking bronzer on the planet, at least for me. I've never tried ANYTHING that appeared more natural on the skin. But I always feel like it renders my sunscreen ineffective and really wanted a powder to just sweep across my forehead, cheeks and nose. Guerlain Terracotta is an icon but finding the right color has proved difficult.

Brows -benefit Cosmetics -Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil

Packaging: Useful as one of the ends is a spoolie which helps brush the brows & blends the product. Also there’s options to buy the travel size too which is handy if you want to try it before purchasing the larger size or if you travel often. However i found the travel size version to last not even 2 weeks. So far the larger size has lasted over a month & still plenty of product left ( i use this almost everday!) Product: Not too waxy & not too pigmented. I have bright blonde hair & found shade 2 to match me however it is bit warm toned so i would suggest to go instore to get matched. Glides on effortlessly. Not really long lasting however & smudges easily I would buy again as i do enjoy the product however i will be on the hunt for a dupe as it is pricey here in the UK ranging from £20-25

Lip Gloss -benefit Cosmetics -Ultra Plush Lip Gloss

I love the scent of these lip glosses but other than that there isn't much else to love.

They are not very long wearing and just sort of sit on top of my lips without absorbing. There are way better lipglosses that don't cost as much as these.
