Mascara -benefit Cosmetics -They're Real

This mascara is really nice for definition, lengthening and a little volume. It doesn't clump or dry out quickly, so you can use it daily with predictable results. It's decently smudge proof, though I sometimes get a little dotting under my eyes from my bottom lashes. The only drawbacks are the ridiculous price, and that it's incredibly difficult to remove. I use micellar water that is effective at removing waterproof mascara, yet this mascara, which isnt waterproof, is tough to clean off. It has a gummy, sticky texture to it that feels really gross when I'm trying to remove it. The removal process is enough to keep me from buying it again. I know people who aren't bothered by it at all and swear by this mascara. It's not my HG, but I can understand why others really like it and repurchase it.

Blush -benefit Cosmetics -Benetint

I bought this for similar reasons to most people, I'd assume- kpop. You can't look at the lips on those guys and not want to achieve a similar look. I'll admit that this product does the trick. It's not sticky, it dries down well, and it builds well. Multiple applications can give your lips a bit of a rough feel, but doesn't cause any visible texture, so I'm fine with that. So far it hasn't been settling too deeply in the lines of my lips either. Layering a gloss on top, like Mac's clear lipglass can help if it's drying you out at all. And the look is flawless.

My only real issue with the product is that while it certainly has good staying power, WHERE it stays can be iffy. The colour pay off can be a little patchy. I have a sample of Posey, so I can't speak to the other colours, although I would think the problem would be exacerbated with the darker tints. I've never used this as a blush and don't ever plan on it as I prefer powder, so I can't give an opinion on that.

Not a fan of the packaging- I think a squeeze tube with some sort of applicator on the end would be a little more user friendly, although I'll admit since you're going to be using your finger to dab at it anyway, it probably doesn't make much difference in the end. It's quite liquidy though, so the nail polish style brush can be a little bleh- and I would think it'd be very annoying on the full size bottle. I've seen people complain about how liquidy it is, but I mean, it's a tint? You need to dab it with your fingers to get that faded look. Used with that in mind, the product serves its purpose. Just keep in mind you're going to have one tinted finger tip.

Overall, if you're looking for that Kpop lip look, this is a great product. Just pay attention to see if it's patchy, and it's easy to build it up in those spots without it gunking up. Some people may find it drying, but I find that layering a clear gloss keeps it in check if it's an issue.

Highlighters -benefit Cosmetics -Watt's Up! Cream Highlighter

Not sure why it ranked so high. It doesn’t blend in well. You know how foundation slash blush is meant to mimic the texture of your skin? Watt’s up doesn’t do that. It looks like skin coloured zinc on your cheekbones.

Mascara -benefit Cosmetics -BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara

This mascara is breathtaking, and Ive tried a LOTTT of mascaras (high end & drugstore) and id have to say this is my #1. I got the travel size in a pouch. This mascara is the blackest black, and the brush just grasps every tiny hair to offer full coating to all eyelash hair. Its the perfect combination of length and volume. It doesn’t flake, and doesn’t feel heavy on the eyes. Im very picky with my mascaras, so trust me when I say you wont be disappointed! Definitely worth the price, if not, buy the travel size which works great too!

Primer/ Corrector -benefit Cosmetics -"That Gal" Brightening Face Primer

I always thought this did nothing to prime my face before makeup but today I realized that it made the HUGE pores on my nose disappear... nothing except applying certain foundation in circular motion does that. But that’s about it, it doesn’t do much in oil control, but did a better job in moisturizing some dry patches, although not to an extent that they “disappear”. Somehow 11.5mL was the full size and it lasted me a year?! I believe the applicator has something to do with that, because I could only use very little due to it’s annoying spinning mechanism. And somehow that’s all that I need, since it only helps with my nose and cheeks. Did they do that on purpose? I thought this is more of a color correcting primer? I don’t know anymore! But I am really tempted to buy a new one when it runs out!!!!!
