Quite a few products I've tried from Amore Pacific I have ended up either absolutely loving or hating. I really like many of their skincare products and toners so I thought I would give the Amore Pacific Dual Nourishing Lip Serum a try. I'm always on the lookout for good lip treatments and moisturizers so at $42 for one tube I thought this must be the best Lip Serum ever! The Amore Pacific Dual Nourishing Lip Serum is a dry-oil type serum that applies easily and hydrates immediately. It absorbs very quicky and left my lips feeling soft and moisturized. This doesn't dry to a glossy or wet finish like most other lip balms do. This has a rose scent or taste to it but I didn't find it overwhelming or interfering with drinks or food. This was an okay lip balm, to be honest, I probably wouldn't repurchase due to the fact that my expectations that a lip serum costing $42 should show more improvements than what I noticed. Although I absolutely love this creme, I can't justify the expense of $150. If I saw it at a discount, absolutely. I consider myself lucky to have received a large sample in a sub box. This creme goes on smoothly, absorbs well, plumps my fine lines and gives my skin a decent radiance. I used it in conjunction with my serum and other essences, as I follow Korean beauty regimens. My skin just looked good. At my age, my basic concern would be plumping and lifting, and that's exactly what this Amorepacific product did. The little 8 ml pot lasted well over a month, which tells me that purchasing the large version would probably last about seven months at about $22 a month. But the initial investment is still high and there are other products out there that do just as well for a lesser price. If this is in your budget, and you have skin that needs plumping, or you want to address fine lines, then it's a great moisturizer to try. Pleasant fragrance, non-greasy, good to use year-round.

The AMOREPACIFIC Resort Collection Sun Protection Mist Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen is an interesting method to apply SPF to your face and neck. The Amore Pacific Mist is a chemical sunscreen and is best applied before you apply any makeup. This has a very fine mist but to get effective sun protection you need to apply this liberally, which means getting your face pretty much soaking wet. This takes a couple minutes to dry as well. I like using this as a supplemental sunscreen with other sunscreens- I use all kinds, primers with sunscreen, foundations with sunscreen, powders with sunscreen, heck, even sunscreen pills. This is better used with other sunscreens because of how much work a liberal application is. This does have fragrance but it is at the end of the ingredient list and dissipates over the first hour of application. Also, be sure not to inhale any of this while spraying- it can be bad for you to breathe in the sunscreen chemicals. My video review can be seen here:

This essence costs as much as SKII, and while I really like it, I`m not sure that it works better for my skin than SKII. I don`t know what it is about the Pitera extract in SKII, but the results for me are almost instant and you can tell I am using this and you can also tell when I`ve stopped using it. This is why I would not repurchase the Amore Pacific essence. I mean, it is nice enough, don`t get me wrong: it has a very, very faint scent of green tea, it certainly smells MUCH better than the Facial Treatment Essence (SKII), but while it does a nice enough job to hydrate and refresh, it does not impart the luminosity and clarity that SKII gives my skin after about 1 week of use. And it`s been more than 2.5 weeks now of twice daily application. My adult whiteheads have cleared up a bit, but nothing too dramatic, plus I am also using other products that could be addressing that issue. I would totally repurchase, but not at this price point (over 200 bucks). I think I`ve explored enough, and I am ready to admit defeat and go back to my SKII. The Amore Pacific essence is made from fermented tea leaves from Jeju and the fermentation process is supposed to be really potent at extracting the best ingredients from those tea leaves. If I was better off financially, I would perhaps not mind so much buying this, but for ordinary folk like yours truly, one needs better results to justify the splurge. Another problem, just like SKII, is that this comes is a heav, unwieldy glass jar that makes it impractical for travel. At least SKII solved that problem partially by selling 75ml bottles. If you have the cash, go for it, but personally I am better off with either the MISSHA dupe (cheaper!) or the SKII 75ml treatment essence.

For over a decade I’ve been fighting chronically chapped, raw, peeling lips. Almost every product I tried made them worse (literally all I could use was the plain bite agave) in under 2 weeks, this went beyond moisturizing and has HEALED my lips. I am absolutely amazed! If you have normal lips, this product is probably expensive overkill. If you have serious issues, it’s definitely worth a try!
