Bubble bath- The shade Bubble bath is a lovely shade of light, milky pink. Although it is a pale shade it still works well on many skin tones. I have a medium tan/olive skin tone and I was afraid it would be too pale but it is not. It is a very universal and neutral shade that is both classy and feminine. Great for all occasions, everyday wear, the office, and very pretty for formal occasions. For my skin tone I prefer to use a glitter or complementing shade on the ring finger. The formula is very sheer and you must use multiple layers to obtain a nice even opaque color. Typically three...

1 MakeupAlley members posted reviews and ratings for EssieGel Couture - Pre Show Jitters - White related to "Soap Nails".
On my warm tan skin, Essie Gel Couture Pre-Show Jitters appear white with hint of pink and beige. It brightens my skin and does not make my skin look more tanned. The bonus is it lasts a week with tip wear on the last day. Will always have a bottle.
Pros:
- lovely on my warm tan hand and toe nails
- lasts at least 7 days on hands and a month on toes
- twisted bottle helps with grip when opening and closing
- dries faster than other brands
Cons:
- expensive but lasts longer as application is only once a week
- limited shades

I absolutely love this white pearl color, it looks very pretty.
It looks great both for nails and toes.
I got it for $3.50 at Beauty Supply store. The only problem, it applies very streaky, I need to apply 3 coats to look perfect. However, it is ok considering the good price.

1 coat is very sheer, 2 coats is my favorite semi-sheer, 3 coats just makes it slightly darker and thicker, but for me 2 coats is best. It's a pink peach tone that's a samon warmer pink vs neutral or cool. It gives a sheer to semi-sheer gel like look. You can see the whites of your nail line, however it does tend to make them look yellow due to the tone. I like it better on shorter nails with no visible nail line due to this. It applies well, easily and as expected. The color on the nails is a sheerer version of the bottle color. You won't get full opague or cream like coverage with the gel...

1 MakeupAlley members posted reviews and ratings for Sally HansenDiamond Strength - Brilliant Blush related to "Soap Nails".
Beautiful colour!!! I'm here before this shade ever becomes popular now that pearl polish has been rebranded as "glazed donut nails" online.
The picture on Sally Hansen's site for this shade doesn't do it justice and frankly looks nothing like it. Brilliant Blush is a sheer white polish with finely milled red-pink pearl. It looks ethereal and yet so wearable, it's like a fresh take on old school white pearl polish. It does have some opacity to it so I wouldn't use it as a topper unless you want to lighten your base colour.
Sally Hansen has a similar shade in their Complete Salon...

1 MakeupAlley members posted reviews and ratings for OrlyBeautifully Bizarre related to "Soap Nails".
Beautifully Bizarre is a very pale pink, almost white in some lights, and neutral verging on cool toned. Sound boring? Nope, it's got a healthy dose of turquoise shimmer to liven things up - but only when it catches the light. This is my favorite "conservative" polish because it does the work of a pale pink, making my nails look well groomed and a bit longer than they would with a darker shade, but without sacrificing the fun of a colorful polish. As you might expect from a pale pink, it's a bit sheer: I usually wear three coats, or sometimes I use it as a base for glitter at 1-2 coats. I...

1 MakeupAlley members posted reviews and ratings for MAVALAMini Color Nail Polish - Feminine related to "Soap Nails".
Feminine is one of several shades of Mavala nail polish that I have - this Feminine is a new one, that I haven't seen before in my search for a subtle pearl nail polish that looks like the inside of a conch shell. This is the closest I have to this ideal, a pink, pearly (not frosted) smooth nail polish that veers a bit toward the coppery in certain lights, but looks full-on natural pink in other lighting. It goes on very smoothly, the brush is surprisingly large for the little mini bottle, and it dries without any bubbles or streaking. I don't bother with a top coat, as the shades I choose...

This has been my go-to shade for a while now. It is so polished looking and professional. Milky opaque nude made up of pink, grey, lavender, nude cream tones. Someone below described it as putty colored and that's definitely it. I bought the gel version and i bring it to my nail salon to have it applied every 2 weeks. The gel stays put on my hands through everything i put my hands through being a nurse. I've found the perfect neutral shade and I don't need to look for another!
