In recent years, the beauty industry has witnessed a revolution in skincare, with microbiome-focused products taking center stage. This innovative approach to skincare recognizes the vital role that the skin's microbiome plays in maintaining a healthy, glowing complexion. Incorporating microbiome-friendly products into your skincare routine can offer numerous benefits: strengthened skin barrier, improved hydration and moisture retention, reduced inflammation and redness, better defense against harmful bacteria, enhanced skin resilience and faster healing, balanced oil production, improved overall skin appearance and radiance.
Why is everyone raving about microbiome skincare? It's not just a trend—it's a science-backed revolution that promises to balance and enhance your skin's unique ecosystem. By embracing microbiome-focused skincare, you're not just treating surface-level concerns but nurturing your skin's entire ecosystem. This holistic approach can lead to more resilient, balanced, and radiant skin that glows from within. Are you ready to unlock the best skin of your life? This is a wonderful cleanser and I agree with my fellow reviewer, and Paula's Choice, that it is "cushiony" on the skin. Very gentle but effective cleansing. I would prefer a pump, but that is a very minor gripe on an otherwise excellent product. Zero irritation. Zero dryness. Definitely a cleanser that maintains the moisture barrier.

I adore this product and use it faithfully twice a day, and I feel like this is a forever product for me. I'm dry/sensitive/rosacean/acne-prone.
The pros:
-The mister is so fine you have no big drops of product
-Soothing, refreshing but but very light. I spray this on before I apply my hyaluronic acid serum and this combo does seem to be helping my skin to be much less dry/tight
The negatives:
-Smells weird (maybe it's the kombucha?)
-Price $42 usd/3.3 oz
-As always with DE, the packaging is excellent (very solid, with an airtight pump and perfect mist spray nozzle) however I wish they...

3 MakeupAlley members posted reviews and ratings for DermalogicaStress Positive Eye Lift Mask related to "Microbiome Skincare".
Relief in a tube (or sachet in my case). This came as a GWP and has lasted for exactly 4 uses. It's a slightly cooling herbal/minty-smelling gel which you apply around the eye area. Despite the essential oils in this and overall 'mintiness', I don't experience any irritation or stinging. Initially I didn't find much use for it as on 'non-puffy-eye' days it doesn't do much for me, and my eye makeup balls up when applying over this. However used on a morning when my eyes were slightly puffy (which happens roughly once a week), it did help soothe the area and make my skin feel more 'awake'....

1 MakeupAlley members posted reviews and ratings for Elizabeth ArdenSuperstart Probiotic Whip to Clay Cleanser related to "Microbiome Skincare".
This is overall a good cleaner. It is a clay based cleanser, but not heavy at all. It effectively removed impurities and sunscreen (I don't wear makeup, so I cant speak to how it works for that). It has a light scent that isn't off putting. A tube of this cleanser lasted me a long time. Overall I like this cleanser, but it is overpriced and you can find something just as good in the drugstore.

6 MakeupAlley members posted reviews and ratings for BiossanceSqualane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer related to "Microbiome Skincare".
I had see what all the hype was surrounding this line so I thought to give this a moisturizer a whirl. If you want a clean alternative to Belif Aqua Bomb this is a great choice. Same texture without the heavy fragrance. This sinks right into my skin within minutes that doesn't leave behind a film but it does leave my skin feeling a lil tight. I definitely can't apply this by itself...especially during chilly outdoor temps. It pairs nicely with a retinoid oil that I have in my collection. It does give me a glow but nothing earth shattering. As far as balancing my skin...its too early to tell...

1 MakeupAlley members posted reviews and ratings for Indeed LaboratoriesMicrobiome Essence related to "Microbiome Skincare".
This may seem like a minor thing but I really like that Indeed Labs includes a tiny flap/stopper to cover the dispensing hole in this essence, keeping air out of the product as well as added protection from spills/seeping. The liquid has a luxurious feel to it, very thin yet silky. I prefer pouring a few drops in the palm of my hand and applying directly to my face vs using a cotton round which soaks up too much product. At first I wasn’t sure I’d like it, seemed like an unnecessary step in my skin care routine, which I like to keep fairly simple. However, this has quickly become a...

1 MakeupAlley members posted reviews and ratings for KORRESGreek Yoghurt Probiotic Superdose Face Mask related to "Microbiome Skincare".
I like this mask for when my skin feels like it needs some nourishment. Sometimes I use this after I do a chemical peel, to rebalance and rehydrate my skin. Korres claims it contains real greek yogurt, I am not savvy enough to know if this is true or not, but it is a nice mask. It is intensely hydrating and feels great on my skin. It reduces the look of redness on my skin. It comes in a large 100 mL jar. I like to keep it in my fridge so it's nice and cool. Sometimes I use it as a sleeping mask and use it instead of whatever cream I am using at night.

It is an excellent balm and can be used for face, body and as a hand cream.
It contains 20% Shea butter (according to the LRP website) that makes it possible to hydrate skin with a lasting replenished moisture.
It is excellent for dry, dehydrated skin or skin that lacks lipids. A must for eczema or psoriasis sufferers.
