I tend to be acne prone and I usually used Beta hydroxy to keep the acne at bay, but I wanted to try an alpha hydroxy product without spending a lot or over doing it on my skin, and these are great. They feel wonderful and tingly going on and there is a lot of liquid on each pad. The pads are super thin and do tend to roll up but its not a big deal given the price. I use these every other night alternating with my beta hydroxy and I really do see a brightening effect on my skin with no dryness or any other bad side effects. Plus they smell great! Although I doubt these would do the job by themselves for my acne they are a great add on!

Conditioner -TRESemme - Split Remedy Conditioner

I read the poor reviews but figured I would try it anyway. The thing is that it seems to have helped with the look of my split ends, but its really a pretty poor conditioner. Either I have to glob a ton on my hair and leave it in for a few minutes or I have to use leave in conditioner after I shower which is annoying bc it just takes more time and puts more unneeded products in my hair. Probably would look for something else next time around but you never know, like I said it does seem to help the look of split ends.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush

I generally like powered blushes but thought to give this a try and should have saved the receipt. The colors are nice which is the only saving grace but the texture is awkward to apply and what i really dislike is that it barely lasts! Would no re-purchase for sure!

This is the first self tanner I have ever used so nothing to compare to. I love the look of a natural tan but Im trying to limit my sun exposure these days and although just from being out and about my skin is slightly tan I wanted a bit deeper. I have to say although its not exactly like a real tan to me its pretty close. It worked very quickly like it says which did surprise me how much color you got only one day after use. Also easy to apply even if you arent being super careful it doesnt seem to streak or get stuck in knees or elbows. Depending on the light it may be slightly more orangy than a real tan but not enough that anyone would notice and if this keeps me out of the sun more often then its worth the trade.

I stumbled across this and went ahead and bought it without reading reviews. L'Oreal makes a similar one that didnt get such wonderful reviews so when I saw this I thought Id try it and its great. The coverage for under the eye is pretty good, not incredible, but it goes on sooo smoothly and doesnt clump or get stuck in fine lines at all. It also really does make the whole eye light up with is something my other concealers (even the ones that cover well and have a good texture and staying power) dont seem to do. For that reason alone this def tops my other go to concealers bc the overall effect is just great! The only reason I dont give a 5 is the coverage isnt perfect but unfortunately Im learning it seems if you want a nice consistency you have to sacrifice some coverage! UPDATE: A few weeks later and I still love this! It really stays all day and doesnt crease. plus I used for the first time today to cover a pimple and it was FLAWLESS. It melts into skin without disappearing and really does somehow seem to reflect light in such a way that you dont see the blemish! Its a wonderful product and Id recommend to anyone! UPDATE AGAIN: changed from four to five stars...this stuff lasts all day in the florida summer sun! it does help to set it with powder for under the eyes but when i use on blemishes i dont need powder or foundation and not only does it stay but it looks exactly the same 12 hours later as when i put it on, still seems to magically reflect light away so not only is the redness from the pimple gone but u dont notice the bump either, just looks like smooth skin! a total winner

Highlighters -Milani - Illuminating Face Powder

Ive been eyeing these for a while but havent really felt like I NEEDED one. however now that its getting hotter out my skin is pretty tan on its own and im finding that my bronzers arent really added much pop so I thought id go the other way and try one of these as a highlighter alone. They only has the hermosa rose where I went and I have to say I love it! I put a little along my cheekbones and it really did give my face that beautiful glow where it just looks better and you cant tell why. I didnt even put anything else on. It was subtle but it definitely went easily onto my brush and then showed nicely on my skin. Made my natural tan look even more gorgeous! I would love to give the other colors a try if I find them but this seems to be a winner for now! As an aside I really dont see how they can get away with saying that this doubles as a bronzer...just as a warning to anyone thinking to use it that way

Concealers -Cover Girl - Olay Simply Ageless

I have so many concealers in an effort to cover my under eye circles..and what i find is that a lot of them cover similarly, fine but not amazing. But what separates them is how they feel going on and how they wear, this one feels amazing. The creamiest by far. It goes on smoothly and doesnt crease too badly (they ALL seem to crease a bit). Def a keeper although will still keep searching for something AMAZING!

Loose Powders -Bare Escentuals - Mineral Veil

I want to preface this by saying I didnt buy this product, actually I went into the bare minerals store by me to try out the undereye concealer and for some reason the woman also put this all over my face without asking! I guess she thought it would add to the effect...and it did in a bad way! First of all I found that it looked like it was just sitting on top of my skin, it never blended in at all. Mostly the problem was that it made me look OLD (im 29) and not only made my face three shades lighter but it made my face look WHITE, not even a lighter shade of my normal skin color. I actually raced home to wash it off within two hours. Also I have to say I found it itched! Just a warning from a totally non biased customer since I had no idea about this product prior to today!

Not sure why the bad reviews. I loved the color, super natural and hard to over-do it. I didnt have a problem with getting the product onto the brush but you HAVE to use another brush and not the one it comes with. Packaging not great but not a deal breaker, especially at the price that it is!

I have a hard time finding perfumes that smell nice on me. Maybe its me but I smell something I love and then when I try it on and wear it I find it stinks on me! This was gorgeous, feminine and not overwhelming. Just soft and pretty. I dont feel that it lasts the whole day however but I dont mind. Im just happy to find something so light and pretty. My one complaint is the bottle, I dont like that puffer. (Not sure what the name for it is) but I dont mind, I will def buy again!

This was given to me as a gift and I have to say, although I like the idea and think the products are pretty good at doing what they say they will, I find them mostly unneccessary for me. I think the quality of the products are good but I have a feeling very few people actually need all 7 of those. i wish they could be sold separately and it annoys me that they arent. However that being said I would purchase this again for one reason and one reason only, I am madly inlove with the candlelight glow highlighter. I put it under my brow line one day bc for some reason that area looked pale, and that alone with zero other makeup enhanced my look so much it was incredible. i have light skin and it blended in so well that no one could tell there was anything there, I just looked better! That stuff is gorgeous and like I said when i run out if I cant get it by itself would buy the whole compact again for that one item, its that good!

My mother got these for me as a present bc she knows Im always looking for a good antiaging eye treatment that may also help with the new onset dark circles i have recently developed under my eyes. Ive been using these for about 6 weeks and I cant say I see any difference even though I saw reviews that said most ppl saw improvement in 45 days or less. While i love the packaging I have to say Im not into the gel consistency, I realize some people may like this but I dont. In terms of wrinkles I dont have anything too bad yet so probably am not a good judge. If they were cheaper I may consider buying this again but since Im not inlove with the formula anyway and Im seeing no change in my dark circles I probably wont get this again when I run out. UPDATE: I ran out of this stuff and figured Id move on...The past few weeks before I ran out I realized I wasnt needing to cover up under my eyes but figured it was just that whatever was causing these circles stopped as quickly as it had started. Well I have to say a couple days after stopping this they are slightly worse again..could be coincidence however Im taking no chances and reordered! so who knows....

Bronzers -MAC - Refined Golden

I purchased this a few weeks ago, even tho I have a bronzer Im very fond of, bc although I like my other bronzer Ive noticed sometimes a get a pimple or two after using is and wasnt sure if thats just me or the brand so I figured Id go with Mac since its such a great brand. I was nervous about the color when I saw it in the compact but I thought Id try anyway. Well I havent had a chance to use until today, I have been under the weather for two weeks and my skin is starting to have that pale/ washed out look that comes with being sick. Since I had to go to work today I thought Id try this to perk myself up and it seriously worked...I actually got complemented on my skin! lol. Color looked great and wasnt sparkly like it looked in compact. Only reason I didnt give 5 is not sure yet since I only used once if I will get pimples or not so will def repost and update about that. Gorgeous and natural color tho and if it could make me look good on a day like today it must work miracles!

Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Daily Pore Cleanser

I am not sure when exactly I started using this product religiously but I think it was at least ten years ago and I have never looked back. I have used all different drug store brands or face wash as well as more expensive brands like pro-active and this one just tops them all in results and the price is an added bonus. I love the microscrubbers bc they clean and exfoliate in the gentlest way so that my skin gets clean, not irritated or dry. I also find that there are no harsh ingredients in this cleanser otherwise bc the microscrubbers do the cleaning without it. Never in my life did I think with my bad acne I would find a product that I could stick to that would keep my skin overall consistently clear but this does and ppl tell me all the time how nice my skin is and whats my secret...well Im pretty sure this is it since I have been getting those compliments for years and only recently that Im getting older have I added other things to my skin routine. Amazing wash at a great price! Wonderful product!

Although this product does feel cool and refreshing as it rolls on, its literally doesnt do a single thing that it says it will. It doesnt take away my dark cirlce or puffiness and I dont look more refreshed after it. Honestly even though it was too expensive I wish I had read the reviews and used the money on something, anything else!
