Foundations -LORAC - Natural Performance Foundation

I love the consistency of this foundation, it's perfect for buffing into the skin and gives great coverage. The color looked a bit orange when I swatched at Ulta, but definitely looked right (skin tone) when I got home and applied in natural daylight. Also got the Porefection powder to go along with this and I really like the two together. NP5 in the foundation and light medium in the powder.
Primer/ Corrector -Pur Minerals - Color Correcting Primer

I found something interesting when I decided to try this on the back of my hand before using it. I applied it to the entire back of my hand and then used the the 4 in 1 foundation swirled on top, adding a few layers, then I ran a full stream of water over that and everything stayed in place, the water beaded up, very similar to the Hourglass demo they give in Sephora. After seeing that, I know this is a great product with great staying power. The green corrector aspect has never been something that works for me in many products, this is pretty much the same, as far as just a working primer, I love it.
While picking up various makeup products at VS , the sales person showed me Face Prime, (it was in a weird spot up by the registers, not in the makeup area). She said its made by the same makers of the Urban Decay De Slick. I was a little weary of the price being $12, but then again thought I would try it since its so cheap. It actually works! I was extremely surprised! It definitely set my makeup for an entire work day and felt as light and refreshing as Mac Fix+. Pretty wild!
Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base

I think this is really neat. I wasn't expecting it to be thick, it's almost like play-doh! But what I really like about it is, it actually does something! A regular primer spreads very thin over the skin and this really looks and feels like you're covering lines and filling up pores. Once you've got it on it doesn't feel thick or cakey, but it certainly does work! Very impressed and glad I tried it! Today was 106 outside and my makeup looked perfect when I got home after a day in and out of the heat.
Cleansers -Korres - Milk Proteins Foaming Cream Cleanser

The reason this is such a great cleanser is because of the ingredients, natural and suited for every skin type, particularly dry or sensitive skin. I had a bad spell of dry skin and didn't know what to use. I went to Sephora and was given about 7 different samples, this being one of them. Unbelievable stuff and will continue to use this! In addition to this, I got the milk proteins 3 in 1 cleansing, toning, and eye makeup removing emulsion. This also aided in bringing my skin back to normal because it doesn't strip your skin, you can tissue it off.
I'm fast becoming a Korres fan. After receiving some samples from Sephora and going through a phase of flaky, dry, skin, I am happy to report that this moisturizer is unlike so many others I've tried (and returned). I was expecting something that would work great for a few hours. What I got was a moisturizer with a lovely scent, and the ability to moisturize for a full 24 hours! I actually wear this as a night cream during summer months and come winter I plan on using it during the day under my foundation. All in all, I was very impressed and I'm really excited to try more of these products.
Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation

This is actually a pretty good foundation. I normally use Estée Lauder DW and I thought I would give this a try. I have dry skin and this feels great, no tightness and very blendable and buildable to the coverage I needed. The staying power was great lasted all day for work. I may repurchase since the price is right.
Tinted Moisturizer -Hourglass - Illusion tinted moisturizer oil free SPF 15 Sand

I'm so glad to have found my HG of foundations. Even though it's technically a "tinted moisturizer" the consistency is that of a moderate to full coverage foundation. Using a stippling brush, the application goes on perfectly and has the airbrushed look I was going for. Natural colors that actually match your skin, and theres no heaviness. I don't even remember how many foundations I tried before I found this and it's good feeling to have found something I will stick with. I absolutely love it.
