Eye Shadow -MAC - Bloodline Pigment
rated 5 of 5

I love this pigment, part of the MAC Fabulous Felines line. It's a sort of dark brownish black with a hint of glimmer. I use it in the crease and to set my eye pencil when I smudge it. It stays on all day and the colour is just lovely. I recommend it to anyone who likes dark colours; it's quite intense so if you prefer a light, fresh look, I wouldn't use this one. If you're going for the mysterious vixen look; this is the colour!

Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF 50

I love this primer, but lately I've been getting massive break outs, and I think it was caused by this primer. This is my 3rd tube and I've never broken out this bad before, so maybe they've changed the formula or there are other environmental factors that are causing the spots. Other than that, this primer does an amazing job at making my make up last forever. I have very fair skin, and I didn't burn once this summer and I think this primer helped with that. I'm still giving this 4 lippies because I still use it religiously on my cheeks, nose and forehead (I broke out on my chin) and this seems to be OK.

Fragrances -Givenchy - Ange ou Demon Le Secret
rated 5 of 5

I bought this perfume on a whim, a little present for myself for starting a new job, but I am glad I did! I usually prefer warm, heavier perfumes such as Chanel no5 or vanilla essences, but this sweet florally scent is amazing! It is a very feminine scent, and it lingers for a good portion of the day. I think I would still switch to a heavier perfume for going out, but for day to day working life, this scent is perfect!

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub
rated 3 of 5
zombiestar 12/10/2010 1:24:00 PM

It's a nice scrub, but it's a bit too harsh for my sensitive skin (and yes, I know how to use scrubs, I am not trying to sand paper my face off). I still use it now and again, because it make your face look fresh, but I don't use it every day anymore.

Brows -Laura Mercier - Brow Definer
rated 5 of 5
zombiestar 12/10/2010 1:22:00 PM

I used to pluck my eyebrows really thinly, to the point where they were almost gone. Recently I decided I wanted more defined eyebrows, and started using a drugstore eyebrow pencil. Though it kinda worked, you could clearly see that it was drawn. I also tried Smashbox's Brow Tech, but I didn;t like the powdery effect. Today I purchased Laura Mercier's brow definer in *fair* (I have really light skin and bleach blonde hair), and wow, I must say I am amazed. I used my Smashbox angle brow brush #12 to apply it, and it looks amazing. If you need to define your eyebrows, this brow definer is definitely one of the best ones.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Demon in the Dark soap
rated 2 of 5
zombiestar 6/13/2010 3:16:00 PM

Got this as a sample with my online order on the Lush website, and I am glad I did because I don't like this at all. I don't like the scent (Not because it's masculine, like some other reviewers on MUA said), it doesn't lather well and it has no additional benefits. I use it to wash my hands before I cleanse/scrub/put a mask on, and it does get my hands squeeky clean, but so do cheaper "normal" soaps. I will use it until it's gone, but I don't see why I should pay almost 5 euros for something that doesn't really DO anything.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Rock Star
rated 1 of 5

I received a sample of this when I ordered from the Lush website. I thought it looked cute and pink, but I already smelled the faint odour of something sickly sweet. I washed my hands with it and UGH! I usually love sweet things, but this soap smells so chemically and is so nauseating that I just cannot stand it! Luckily it was just a sample, so I know exactly what NOT to buy. The only positive thing I can say about it, is that I love the pink colour. But that doesn't help when you cringe every time you catch a whiff of this product.

Fragrances -Chanel - No.5
rated 5 of 5
zombiestar 5/20/2010 6:57:00 AM

I disagree with the statement that Chanel no5 can only be worn by older women. I have been wearing it since I was 17 and I still love it! People always comment on how nice I smell, and this perfume is really MY smell. It is quite expensive, but this exquisite scent is totally worth the price!

Polishes -Chanel - Kaleidoscope
rated 4 of 5
zombiestar 5/12/2010 6:42:00 AM

I love this nail polish. I wanted a nice, decent looking yet festive nail polish and this classy silver was perfect for me. It compliments my light skin, and I don't even need a second coating, one is enough. It stays on forever, and if I run into this nail polish again, I will certainly re-purchase. The only downside is the price, but what do you expect, it's Chanel ;)

Beautiful, subtle colour which you can wear every day or to somewhere fancy. It looks very elegant, and if you've used Chanel nail polish before, you know how great it is. It rarely needs more than one coating, and it stays on forever. I love this nail polish.

Treatments -Redken - Smooth Down Butter Treat [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
zombiestar 4/18/2010 5:31:00 AM

This was one of the products that I used as a final product to "save" my hair. I went from black to blonde, and needless to say my hair was, well.. dead. I used this in combination with Aussie "Miracle Moist" shampoo. I washed my hair, turned the shower off, generously applied this to my hair and went to watch telly for about 40 mins. After that I washed it out, and put some Redken Extreme "anti snap" on the ends. And wow.. after my hair had dried...It was sooo soft, most of the frizzies were gone and it just felt so healthy! I will defintely re-purchase this over and over again! I can't believe I was about to cut my long hair off, this product saved my hair!

Masks -LUSH - Cupcake Mask
rated 5 of 5
zombiestar 2/19/2010 6:16:00 AM

I was a bit disappointed that the pot was so SMALL (I am used to the bigger LUSH tubs) but that disappointment vanished when I opened it, it smells like chocolate mint ice cream! I apply it to a damp face (after giving it a mild scrub, with Angels on Bare Skin) and leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. Afterwards, my skin feels extremely soft and hydrated, and less oily. I love this product, and will definitely buy it again!

Styling Products -TiGi - Rockaholic Rock Out Shine Blaster
rated 4 of 5
zombiestar 2/19/2010 6:13:00 AM

This stuff smells lovely! I was a bit weary about using this product, but some reviews on another website convinced me to try it. I thought it would be greasy on my hair, but when applied on damp hair (after showering) and letting it air dry or blow dry, it adds a lovely shimmer to my hair and it reduces the frizziness! If you aren't convinced, I suggest you try it, I love it!

Palettes -Too Faced - New Romantic Unicorn Palette
rated 3 of 5
zombiestar 2/19/2010 6:10:00 AM

I have to admit, the main reason I wanted to try this palette is because it just looks so cute! The lipglosses have no colour-depth whatsoever, but give a nice shimmer to the lips. I am very pale, so the blush is a bit "too much" for my skintone, but when blended with a lighter powder it looks fine. I am in love with the greeny/gray/black (the top e/s) eyeshadow, it blended beautifully to create a nice "smokey-eye" effect. The other eyeshadows are a bit generic, but they are okay as well.

Hair -Kerastase - Sublimateur Jour
rated 4 of 5
zombiestar 2/8/2010 4:39:00 PM

This was my first Kerastase product, and I love it, I am dying to try more of them. I apply SJ to damp hair about once or twice to week (at most) and leave it to air dry. It makes my hair (and especially the ends) feel softer, silkier even and overall make it look a lot healthier. If you want to treat your hair to some extra care, consider this product!
