Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Tinted Lip Balm - Hibiscus

the colour of this is really nice, it's slightly darker then my natural shade, and it goes on nice and sheer so it's great for a natural/minimal look. unfortunately it doesn't last very long and it doesn't moisturise very well, so i find i have to apply either a clear balm, gloss or pawpaw ointment over the top. i think i'd be better off with either a proper moisturising lip balm or a sheer lipstick that lasts longer than five minutes.
i really like this, i use it for work and it's a great time saver. the coverage is sheer but it does a great job of evening out my skin tone; it blends really easily; doesn't break me out (which moisturisers with spf often do) and it doesn't have any weird odour. so pluses all round, really. my only issue is the price, i haven't tried many tinted moisturisers and i wonder if i could find a comparable one that isn't so pricey.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Raspberry

a friend gave me a sample of this, it's not something i would generally buy because i have long hair and i HATE how it always gets stuck in lip gloss. on it's own, the colour is sheer to the point of almost not being visible. but what i do like this for is just dabbing a tiny bit in the centre of my lips when i'm wearing lipstick, just to give me a tiny bit of a glossy sheen and to prevent my lips drying. i also like that there's no funky smell or taste. but $32AU seems incredibly expensive to me when i can get the same effect with a $5 tube of paw paw ointment.

i tried this for my under eye circles because i was sick of "lightening and brightening" concealers that did nothing for me whatsoever. this is great for under eye circles because it ACTUALLY COVERS THEM!! how exciting. it's also good for blemishes (although i'm usually too lazy to cover mine up unless it's an extra special occasion, or an extra bad blemish). i have improbably fair skin and i got this in pearl. it is a little bit expensive, but as other reviewers have mentioned, you don't use much product each time, plus it actually works!
i wanted to like this - the brush is great, it goes on really well, adds a bit of volume and separates nicely. unfortunately it flaked like crazy on me =(
i can never really decide if i like this or not. i wanted it to be moisturising with a subtle hint of colour. unfortunately it tends to dry out my lips. it does give a nice hint of colour though, and if i put a little but of paw paw ointment on top, my lips don't get too dry. i won't be repurchasing because i'm looking for something that will give both colour and moisture in one.
Mascara -Max Factor - Xperience Volumising Mascara

this is a pretty good daytime mascara, no good if you want a big, dramatic false lash effect. it adds a little bit of volume, separates lashes nicely and doesn't leave them feeling stiff. it's got a good wand, not too big, so it's easy to get at all your lashes. i do find that it tends to flake a little by the end of the day, but nothing too drastic.
uninspiring is probably the nicest way i could describe this. the wand is very big and awkwardly shaped, it doesn't really add much volume. at the start of the day my lashes look a little spidery, by the end of the day they are stiff and look very spidery. so overall, not the worst mascara i've ever tried but not one i'd recommend or repurchase.
Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Length Water Resistant

for a start it's not at all waterproof. i have this in brown and it gives me an extremely natural look - ok for daytime, i guess, but it doesn't make much of a difference. and it has a weird, funky chemical smell.
i was a bit wary of this because i don't normally like strong perfume in my skincare, but this cream works really well. it moisturisers without leaving a filmy feeling on my hands and i always get asked what perfume i have on when i'm wearing it =)
i bought this for my mum but i noticed that my heels were a bit dry and awful looking so i tried it out myself and loved it. i used it at night, put some socks on over the top and by the next morning my heels looked 100% better. the only problem might be the strong smell - it's nice but no good if you don't like/can't stand perfume in your skincare.

this does exactly what it says on the tin, it's natural, it's about a fifth of the price of my previous favourite moisturiser and it lasts twice as long. have already repurchased several times and recommended it to friends who also have sensitive skin. (plus the packaging is cute!)

i love this stuff! the first time i tried it on i couldn't believe the difference it made. my eyes always have dark shadows underneath and my lids are pigmented but this gets rid of my shadows and gives me a great base for my eyeshadow. and it is the only makeup product (apart from mascara) that i have ever run out off and repurchased. if i've had a really late night/early morning this isn't pigmented enough, but for regular days it's perfect. LOVE IT =)
i have this in brown and it's the most beautiful natural looking colour. the only problem is that it ends up underneath my eyes after about an hour. as for being waterproof, it's not anything proof, all i have to do is touch my eyes and it ends up everywhere. it's a shame becuase this really is a beautiful colour.
i absolutely love this! i found it a bit hard to get used to at first because it's the first long wear lipstick i've ever used. i find that if i don't wait until the lip colour has completely dried before i put the gloss on it goes a bit feral - the colour starts coming off in little balls which is not a great look. but if you get the original application right this well and truly lasts all day. i'm not a big fan of the gloss that comes with it, but i'm not a gloss fan. during the day i wear it with lip balm, not gloss, over the top. i was worried that it was going to dry my lips out but i find it less drying then regular lipstick because i can easily reapply my lip balm throught the day. the colour is gorgeous, the perfect nude pink for me (pale skin, red/blonde hair). the only downside is the price, i'm hoping it lasts a long time =)
