Lipstick -Rimmel - Moisture Renew - Vintage Pink

I bought this lipstick on a whim... thank goodness it was cheap, because I can't rock this shade! My skin tone is fairly warm, and this cool-tone pink is just too much of a contrast. That being said, I've worn some cool-tone pinks/purples before and they looked great! There's just something not right about this product. It has a tendency to wash me out. However, it can be salvaged! When I wear a hot pink gloss over top, it looks completely different. My only problem is that I don't wear glosses a lot, so I don't tend to reach for this lipstick either. Texture-wise, it's great! I think Rimmel lipsticks are the best quality out of the drugstore lipsticks. They're always creamy, and moisturizing. A lot of bang for your buck. I do have a problem with the packaging though. In my opinion, the purple mirrored look is more gaudy than chic. But hey, it's so reasonably priced that I can't complain too much!

Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15

A lot of people criticize the lack of colour payoff in this product. Yes, this product is very sheer. Hence it being labelled as a lip treatment rather than a lipstick. However, that being said, I was actually surprised that quite a bit of colour transferred to my lips! I suppose I wasn't expecting much colour in the first place (and chose this particular one over the others due to the pink packaging), so it was a nice surprise to see the result. It gives my lips what my friends refer to as a "French" look - very natural and classic. Keep in mind that my lips are very pale naturally. I have a friend with snow white, "just bitten" lips and this colour would most definitely not show up on her. The actual product itself works magnificently. By far the best lip treatment I've tried (better than that carmex gunk). As a person with VERY dry skin/lips, I've noticed a huge difference since using this product. The product has a very soft, silky finish, which I appreciate in a lip balm (over that waxy feeling). My mother has the regular version of this product (in the brown tube), and when using hers, I do notice a difference in the products. If you're not interested in the tint of this lip treatment, I'd opt for the original - it was much more nourishing to the lips. This leaves me conflicted for my next tube.... I'm not sure which to purchase next. If it weren't for the steep price, I'd buy both... plus the plum one! Further bonuses of the product: It comes in a sturdy, screw-on lid, guaranteeing it won't open up in your purse and get tiny hairs stuck on it. Plus, it smells AMAZING. Like pink lemonade on a warm summer's day.

Moisturizers -Origins - Dr Weil Plantidote Mega Mushroom Face Lotion

This is a very great product if you just GIVE IT A CHANCE. It sounds silly, but you have to give it a good go before it does anything for your skin. When I first used this product, I found that my skin broke out (which is unlikely for me). I was feeling quite disappointed and was tempted to just give it away, however, I paid so much for this darn product that I thought I'd keep up with it and give it another shot. I'm so glad I did! After a week or so my spots went away. My skin (that is always so uneven) started evening out after another few weeks. Now, three months in, my acne scars are starting to fade. I'm really excited to see what my skin will look like when Im finished the bottle since I have already noticed such a big difference. Of course, the only downfall for this product is the price, however, you only need a little amount each day. Im sure it was take me a long time to finish the bottle since Im only a quarter of the way through!

Fragrances -Origins - Ginger Essence

This fragrance is a perfect scent that is noticeable without being too overwhelming. The scent is very similar to a citrus scent with a spicy zing to it. The only downfall to this scent is that it doesn't last as long as I would like it to. However, it is easy to get past that since the body is small and portable, and of course, the fragrance is just so lovely.

Absolutely gorgeous product! Would highly recommend this to those who love smokey looks with a hint of colour. The fallout isn't bad, and the product goes on so smoothly.

Originally, while looking at this collection online, I wasn't tempted to buy this. However, when I went to the Mac counter and saw this I knew I had to have it. This shade is gorgeous! The picture I uploaded doesn't do this justice because in person it looks absolutely incredible. The first colour is a pinky red purple that looks amazing against brown eyes. The second colour is a blue purple colour that looks incredible under a black base. The shade is so beautiful- like nothing I've seen on people's eyes before. I would highly recommend this if you are one for the deep smokey gothic looks. If you love neutrals I'd pass unless you wanted a change. Also, the packaging is adorable, probably a contributing factor for many who have purchased this already. It's a wonderful surprise that the product is just as nice. UPDATE: I noticed that a lot of people who swatched this didn't have the colour payoff I did. When purchasing mine, the girl let me pick the one I want (which was the one with the most purple) If you intend to buy this I'd make sure I'd do the same.

This is a really nice beige colour all over the lids. The satin finish is really easy to use. I find the product glides right on and is very easy to blend. I myself don't really use this as a highlight, but I suppose you could definitely choose to do that. I like using it all over my lid with a bit of Mulch eyeshadow in the crease. It makes for a great everyday makeup look, especially since the satin finish adds a bit more 'oomph' than a matte finish does.

Self Tanners -Jergens - Natural Glow

Before I apply my makeup in the morning, I like to apply a nice light moisturizer. I liked the idea of this product because I like having a healthy summer glow even in the winter months. However, I didn't notice a change in my skin after using this product for over a month. Also, I found that the formula of this is very thick and makes my skin feel greasy. I will not buy this again.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lustreglass in Love Nectar

I got this lusteglass in a gift set from mac about a year ago. Since then I've gone through two tubes, I love it that much. This colour is a nice peachy pink colour with a golden sparkle to it. I find that it looks great over nude lipsticks like Mac freckletone. The formulation of this is very nice as well. Unlike Dazzleglasses which tend to be very sticky, lustreglasses are very moisturizing to the lips. I also like how they don't absorb quickly. I applied mine at 8 this morning and it is now 2:30 and it is still on my lips even after eating. I will continue to buy this as long as Mac makes it!

I really like this lipstick but if you have seen the ad for it, this shade looks COMPLETELY different! In the ad, in looks like more of a brighter purple, however, it is actually pretty dark. I wouldn't wear this in the summer, but I really like wearing this in the fall and winter when dark colours are more suitable. I think this is a really refreshing and fun lipstick to wear out for it really draws attention to the lips. My only problem with this would be the fact that it isn't very creamy. I literally have to drag it repeatedly over my lips to get the colour going. But once I get passed that, it looks very good. On a side note, if you have a small mouth, this lipstick will only make you mouth look smaller since it is a dark colour.

Again another great lip gloss from milani. I bought this to go over my Mac Cyndi lipstick and WOW it looks so good. This red colour has a slight coral shade to it which makes it very wearable when going out. The texture of this is very nice as well. Super smooth and not sticky, and it stays place all day.

At first I was a little hesitant to buy this because I thought it was too frosty. However when I got home and tried it on I loved how it looked on my lips. This colour is a dark champagne that is very frosted. Normally I don't like frosty finishes on my lips, but this looks so good against my tanned skin. Every time I wear this I feel super glamorous like Jennifer Lopez.

These glosses are so perfect! First, the finish of these is really good. They contain sparkles but not too many that make it look flashy. These glide on the lips so smoothly, and will remain on the lips for a long time. The gloss itself is very soft, not sticky which is very nice. Second, the colour selection is very nice. There are many fun bright colours in this collection, but some soft colours as well.

These glosses are by far the best glosses ever!! The mint flavor of them is so nice and they give the best shine. A little product goes a long way for these.

Top/Base Coats -Seche Vite - Dry Fast Top Coat

Seche vite is a must any time I'm wanting to paint my nails. It delivers a super shiny even top coat to my polish which dries in literally 10 seconds! The only thing I could see people having a problem with is the fact that this polish is very thick, so a lot of product is used when using it once. My HG nail product!
