Bottom line- I don't know if it's my body chemistry combined with this product, or the product itself, but it smells like really horrible BO on me. Lasted for hours- I guess this is a good thing if you enjoy the scent, though. As they say, to each her own. Definitely sample before you buy, as with any fragrance. I'm glad I did!

I had such high hopes for this product that I bought a one liter bottle when Ulta had it's liter sale... you would think I would learn by now. It smells pretty good (just slightly chemical-y), but is quite thin, and takes forever to wash out of your hair. It also made my shower floor really slippery- a definite hazard. As far as it working- it worked great for the first week or so. Then I started to notice a waxy buildup on my scalp, and the product wasn't working quite as well to combat the frizz (my hair is medium length, quite thick, wavy and somewhat coarse- interspersed with fine hairs as well) and definitely weighing it down. Definitely requires maintenance with Neutrogena or other stripping shampoo. I still reach for this every once in awhile, but as a daily conditioner, it sucked.

I'm actually reviewing the Wild Yam scent, which I didn't find listed here. I thought this stuff was horrible all around. It had a great scent when first applied, though a little overpowering, but dried sticky and didn't prevent odor. The scent seemed to react with my body chemistry through the day and produce something much worse than my own natural scent. In addendum, I live in a very humid, warm place.
