Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Volume

I have straight, downwards-pointing, thin asian lashes, so mascara is my desert-island makeup product. I've tried too many mascara that were immediatley promising, until I checked out my lashes a few minutes later to find the curl had disappeared. My other mascaras always promised volume and length, but didn't live up to it. THIS MASCARA DOES! It holds a curl *pretty* well, volumizes and lengthens. Best of all, it glides on clump-free and looks lush and natural even after two coats. The pigmentation is nice, I have the shade Black and am satisfied, though in certain lightings it picks up some hints of gray in my opinion. Overall a great mascara. I would definitely repurchase, which is really saying something considering I've never bought the same mascara twice.

Mascara -Rimmel - Lycra Lash Extender

Lengthens ok, but adds no volume at all, good product if you want a really natural everyday look. For me, this mascara has two uses: 1) Layering it on top of clumpy mascara: the thin brush separates big clumps and lengthens lashes a little more 2) Using as a base for mascara that doesn't hold a curl. This mascara doesn't do particularly well on its own, and doesn't curl your lashes like it claims to. It does, however, hold a mean curl.

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara

The mascara itself applied very smoothly, with literally zero clumps. I even let it dry and added a second coat, and still no clumps. The packaging is gorgeous, a sparkly dark green that I've never seen on a mascara tube before. The brush is the perfect size, it's a brushy brush type that's not too big and not too small. The one thing that makes me REALLY sad about this mascara is that it doesn't hold a curl at all. The first day I purchased this, I tried it on and stuck it right back into the box to return it as it made my Asian lashes go pin straight. However, I gave it another shot a few days later and found that the formula had dried a little and was holding the curl SLIGHTLY better. In other words, the curl will definitely droop a bit. If it weren't for this, High Impact could very well be my HG. This mascara would be perfect for someone with naturally curly lashes, but those of us with straight lashes should save their money.
