This eyeshadow was pretty subpar. You really have to layer thickly to get any color at all. It's also extremely powdery and the fallout is terrible. I tried different brushes and even my finger and the color barely showed up on my eyelid even with UDPP... even though lots of the powder ended up on my black dress. There's way better out there for far cheaper. No go.

Mascara -100 Percent Pure - Fruit Pigmented ultra lengthening mascara

It's cool because it's natural but that's about all I can say positively about this mascara. It flaked and irritated my eyes. (I wear contacts) It also smudged and gave me raccoon eyes. It didn't lengthn very much, made my lashes crunchy and completely killed any curl that my lash curler created. No thanks.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Midnight Cowboy Rides Again

I don't care what anyone says. I f'in love this eyeshadow. Asian, NC30. It's not an eyeshadow for everyday but it does look hot if you're going out. I love the glitter fallout actually, it looks really pretty if you can pull it off. lol. Enough stuck to my eyelid to keep it pretty and glittery as well. :) I paired it with black liquid eyeliner and UD yeyo on the inner corners of my eyes. I wore it with *gasp* the also hated glittery Nars Super Orgasm and YSL Golden Gloss 3. Yes, some may think I ended up looking like a discoball but I received a lot of compliments from girls when I wore it out. Once again, great for a night out but not for the faint of heart!

Palettes -Kat Von D - Ludwig Palette

I decided to write this review because I had such trouble finding reviews of this palette on the board. I purchased the palette despite a lot of mixed reviews on the board to give it a try out. My lemming for this palette was insane and I wasn't even quite sure why. Ludwig is packaged beautifully in a gorgeous box and wrapped in silver tissue paper. The palette itself mirrors the outside and includes 8 eyeshadows and two double ended eyeshadow brushes (though they appear more like lipstick brushes, lol) The colors are: Lucifer: Pitch black eyeshadow. Super pigmented and very smooth. I like this better than Mac's Carbon Orbi: A shimmery olive drab military type green. It's just shimmery enough but not super soft like Stila's eyeshadows which are my favorite. Less likely to break apart though! Dimebag: Shimmery mossy apple green. Very pretty and pairs perfectly with Orbi. Tequila: Shimmery ivory highlighter. Clay: My least favorite in the palette, the color is a bit chalky but may be due to the ivory/orangey glitter in it. The glitter is very fine but this color doesn't show up well and is a bit streaky. Downtown: Gorgeous shimmery light copper. Very bright and nicely pigmented like Lorac's neutrals. Baroque: Shimmery bronze. Also very nicely pigmented and pairs perfectly with downtown. Leather: Matte dark brown. Makes me think of Mac's Embark. Very nicely pigmented and smooth. Makes a hot smokey eye with Lucifer. I am DEFINITELY keeping this palette. I love it. The colors are easily dupeable but I believe it's nice to have them all together and perfectly color coordinated in one palette. The packaging is love for me too. All the colors are gorgeous and very smooth and highly pigmented with the exception of one. I wore this with TF Shadow Insurance as a base (bought that one to see if it beats UDPP) and even after playing my new Wii Fit, it didn't crease or budge for over 10 hours. Buy it, you won't regret it! :)

Lipstick -MAC - Strawbaby

I tried on every single lipstick from the Fafi collection and this was one of my least favorite. It just didn't look like there was anything special on my lips, it just turned them into an unflattering sheer brownish red on me. It looked dirty and didn't flatter my NC30 complexion at all. This was the one that I was lemming like crazy too! I ended up purchasing Fun 'n' Sexy which I totally didn't expect to love but it's gorgeous on me, a very unique and surprisingly flattering sheer fuschia with blue pearl. I'm getting a backup of that lipstick!

Mascara -Too Faced - Lash Injection

Yes, it does make your lashes longer. Yes, it keeps them soft and does form little tubes around them. Yes, they didn't irritate my eyes as much as some others, but ouch, it was a pain in the *ss to remove. It just wouldn't come off! I ended up pulling out lots of my already sparse lashes. I tried makeup remover, warm water and pulling down, but nothing worked. I won't have to wear mascara in the future if I have no lashes!

Palettes -Pop Beauty - Lid Silver

There are six colors in the palette, a dark charcoal gunmetal. A slightly iridescent smokey purple, a slate silver, very light flat looking purple, a light silver and a bright shimmery white color. The shadows are soft and have medium pigment. The colors by themselves could work relatively well but you really have to pack the colors on for them to show. Also, when blending them together, they just meld into a muddy mess. It really doesn't blend very well with one another and the colors aren't as bright as they are in the package. Overall, it's nice and the price isn't too bad, but I wouldn't repurchase it and most of these colors are easily dupable and really nothing special.

Blush -Unlisted Brand - Kimora Lee Simmons Coral Reef blush

The color is a garishly bright coral with gold shimmer. I applied this with my skunk brush and barely touched the surface of the blush and applied. The result was clown-like streaky cheeks. This color is for darker skintones, I couldn't make it work for my skintone and I love brightly pigmented blushes. Also, the blush is way too soft (my first order of this arrived shattered and had to wait for the second to try the color out) and the packaging is cheap looking and cheap feeling and light. Not a fan, as fabulous as Ms. Kimora is, you'd think she'd create fabulous products. Not so.

The gloss isn't very pigmented but it's a beautiful corally peach color with very fine microshimmer in peach and gold tones. The gloss isn't very sticky and doesn't have the best staying power. The only cons are the price (for a color that isn't super special, the price is quite high) and the fragrance. I'm very sensitive to floral scents and the scent is very strong and gave me a bit of a headache. However, the color really brightens up my face and makes me look very healthy. If the fragrance was a bit lighter or disappeared then this would be an HG gloss despite the price.

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Shimmer Veils

OMG, this stuff burned the crap out of my eyes!! I don't have sensitive eyes either. After I wiped this toxic crud off my eyes, my eyelids were pink as if they had been lightly burned. Painful! It's still burning. Beyond that, this stuff is horrible, with a base and without, the glitter is streaky and the pink (Nymph Oh!) is barely there and makes you look sick. Stay away!!!!

I purchased this in Sex Kitten and it's my new HG. The gloss is very smooth and non sticky and the color is gorgeous and buildable. Applied sheerly, it's absolutely fabulous. It seems to even fill in faint lines in my lips making them look plumper. There is a very very faint but pleasant sweet foody type scent to this as well. Don't be turned off by the Playboy name, I tried the brand on a whim and for the most part, have been very pleasantly surprised. This lipgloss is my new HG!

Eyeliner -Unlisted Brand - Playboy Beauty Pickup Liner Liquid Eyeliner Pen

I purchased the Playboy Beauty Pickup Liner in Size 2, Right? and promptly returned it after one try. I almost always give products a few chances to win me over but this one was just horrible. The pen is very lightweight and cheap plasticky feeling. The tip of the pen is really hard and pointy. There's absolutely no give, so it's difficult to draw long cat eyes or do little flips. Since it's so hard, it ends up skipping and digging into the delicate eye area. After about 30 minutes, the eyeliner started to faintly smudge on me, my eyelids also became very greasy. It was weird stuff. However, what completely made me refuse to give it a second chance was the fact that it stained my eyelids. I could not get the product to completely remove. Even my HG DHC Cleansing Oil which removes absolutely everything on my face couldn't remove it all. After the Cleansing Oil, a foaming face wash and an eye-makeup remover by EA, I was still left with heather gray lines on my eyelids. Thankfully, by the next morning they were gone however but jeez. Don't buy this, you'll regret it. BUT, do try Playboy's Lipglosses, those are amazing. I purchased Hef's Favorite in Sex Kitten and it is my new favorite lipgloss.

The packaging is adorable but very cheap. It's a see through hot pink plastic blush compact with the Playboy symbol in gold stamped on it. When you open it up, the blush is a half moon shape with the cheapest crappiest blush brush possible underneath it. The blush has very very fine microshimmer that I didn't find to be noticeable and it's a mauvey pink peach. I would say the color is close to Cargo's The Big Easy. With my NC30 skintone I didn't think it would even show up, but it does and it's a very pretty natural light flush. The powder is pigmented but buildable. I like it and I would rebuy it, just for the color alone but quality wise, I'd say it's no better than drugstore stuff. Good thing I got it on sale.

Fragrances -J. Lo - Glow

This smells horrible, it smells like musky soap. It's a very cheap scent and there's really nothing special about it. I've had some sprayed on me before and I washed my wrist as soon as I could. A friend of mine wears this all the time and she always stinks to high heaven when she does. If you want to smell like musky soap, take a shower and then rub yourself all over a sweaty man. Yuck.
